Abstract:This paper takes advantage of the complementary characteristics of Global Positioning System (GPS) and Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) to provide periodic corrections to Inertial Navigation System (INS) alternatively in different environmental conditions. In open sky, where GPS signals are available and LiDAR measurements are sparse, GPS is integrated with INS. Meanwhile, in confined outdoor environments and indoors, where GPS is unreliable or unavailable and LiDAR measurements are rich, LiDAR replaces GPS to integrate with INS. This paper also proposes an innovative hybrid scan matching algorithm that combines the feature-based scan matching method and Iterative Closest Point (ICP) based scan matching method. The algorithm can work and transit between two modes depending on the number of matched line features over two scans, thus achieving efficiency and robustness concurrently. Two integration schemes of INS and LiDAR with hybrid scan matching algorithm are implemented and compared. Real experiments are performed on an Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) for both outdoor and indoor environments. Experimental results show that the multi-sensor integrated system can remain sub-meter navigation accuracy during the whole trajectory.

Abstract:In the near future, multi-sensor fusion will be the core component to navigate the autonomous driving platforms. This paper proposes new strategies to cope with the integration of an inertial navigation system (INS), a global navigation satellite system (GNSS), and light detection and ranging (LIDAR) to achieve simultaneous localization and mapping (INS/GNSS/LiDAR SLAM) especially in GNSS challenging environments where GNSS signals are blocked or contaminated with reflected signals. The proposed strategies implement a high level of integration with various information received from multiple sensors to collectively compensate for the specific drawbacks of those sensors included in the integrated system. The first strategy is to solve the divergence and drift problems of SLAM using the initial pose information from INS and the proposed refreshing process using an INS/GNSS integrated system. In addition, an updated mechanization is designed to qualify those received measurements based on cross validation of separate types of data. This mechanization is to ensure all measurements are reliable for the Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) update process. Moreover, the SLAM-derived information plays a major role to recognize the vehicle movement which assists the system to accurately apply those appropriate vehicle motion constraint models. The preliminary results presented in this study illustrate that proposed algorithm performs superior than the traditional INS/GNSS integration scheme and provides absolute navigation accuracy of 2 meters and 0.6% of distance traveled in GNSS-denied as well as 1.2 meters in GNSS-hostile environments, respectively.

Indoor Integrated Navigation of Micro Aerial Vehicle Based on Radar-Scanner and Inertial Navigation System

Abstract:This paper presents an indoor integrated navigation method for micro aerial vehicles based on radar-scanner and inertial navigation system(INS).We employ the DC simultaneous localization and mapping(SLAM) technique,which is actually an EKF-based SLAM algorithm,to meet the real-time requirements of the micro aerial vehicle(MAV) navigation.For the scan matching in state-update procedure,a heuristic logic is proposed to screen the radar data to deal with the strong perturbations on the map profile caused by the variations in attitude and height during the motion of MAV.We extract reasonable features from the map profile and use them in feature matching procedures.To improve the matching accuracy,we determine the guiding matching in pair-wise based on the result of scan matching and the transfer of feature matching.Finally,an integrated DC SLAM and INS navigation algorithm is implemented based on the extended Kalman filter.By comparing the indoor integrated navigation system with the typical global positioning system(GPS)/INS integrated navigation system,we find that the former is capable of providing desired real-time state estimations for MAV's flight control,which is further verified by an equipped quadrotor's indoor autonomous hover test.

Abstract:Traditionally, navigation systems have relied solely on global navigation satellite system (GNSS)/inertial navigation system (INS) integration. When a temporal loss of GNSS signal lock is encountered, these systems would rely on INS, which can sustain short bursts of outages, albeit drift significantly in prolonged outages. In this study, an extended Kalman filter (EKF) is proposed to develop an integrated INS/LiDAR/Stereo simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) navigation system. The first update stage of the filter integrates the INS with the LiDAR, after which the resultant navigation solution is integrated with the stereo SLAM solution, which yields the final integrated navigation solution. The system was tested for different driving scenarios in urban and rural environments using the raw Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and Toyota Technological Institute (KITTI) dataset in the complete absence of the GNSS signal. In addition, the selected KITTI drives covered low and high driving speeds in feature-rich and feature-poor environments. It is shown that the proposed INS/LiDAR/Stereo SLAM navigation system yielded better position estimations in comparison to using the INS without any assistance from onboard sensors. The accuracy improvement was expressed as a reduction of the root-mean-square error (RMSE) by 83% and 82% in the horizontal and up directions, respectively. In addition, the proposed system outperformed the positioning accuracy of some of the state-of-the-art algorithms.

Abstract:To achieve higher automation level of vehicles defined by the Society of Automotive Engineers, safety is a key requirement affecting navigation accuracy. We apply Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) as a main auxiliary sensor and propose LiDAR-based Simultaneously Localization and Mapping (SLAM) approach for Positioning, Navigation, and Timing. Furthermore, point cloud registration is handled with 3D Normal Distribution Transform (NDT) method. The initial guess of the LiDAR pose for LiDAR-based SLAM comes from two sources: one is the differential Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) solution; the other is Inertial Navigation System (INS) and GNSS integrated solution, generated with Extended Kalman Filter and motion constraints added, including Zero Velocity Update and Non-Holonomic Constraint. The experiment compares two initial guesses for scan matching in terms navigation accuracy. To emphasize the importance of a multi-sensor scheme in contrast to the conventional navigation method using the stand-alone system, the tests are conducted in both open sky area and GNSS signal block area, the latter might cause Multipath and Non-Line-Of-Sight effects. To enhance the navigation accuracy, the Fault Detection and Exclusion (FDE) mechanism is applied to correct the navigation outcome. The results show that the application of NDT and FDE for INS/GNSS integrated system can not only reach where-in-lane level navigation accuracy (0.5 m), but also enable constructing the dynamic map.

An Integrated INS/LiDAR SLAM Navigation System for GNSS-Challenging Environments

Abstract:Traditional navigation systems rely on GNSS/inertial navigation system (INS) integration, in which the INS can provide reliable positioning during short GNSS outages. However, if the GNSS outage persists for prolonged periods of time, the performance of the system will be solely dependent on the INS, which can lead to a significant drift over time. As a result, the need to integrate additional onboard sensors is essential. This study proposes a robust loosely coupled (LC) integration between the INS and LiDAR simultaneous mapping and localization (SLAM) using an extended Kalman filter (EKF). The proposed integrated navigation system was tested for three different driving scenarios and environments using the raw KITTI dataset. The first scenario used the KITTI residential datasets, totaling 48 min, while the second case study considered the KITTI highway datasets, totaling 7 min. For both case studies, a complete absence of the GNSS signal was assumed for the whole trajectory of the vehicle in all drives. In contrast, the third case study considered the use of minimal assistance from GNSS, which mimics the intermittent receipt and loss of GNSS signals for different driving environments. The positioning results of the proposed INS/LiDAR SLAM integrated system outperformed the performance of the INS for the residential datasets with an average reduction in the root mean square error (RMSE) in the horizontal and up directions of 88% and 32%, respectively. For the highway datasets, the RMSE reductions were 70% and 0.2% for the horizontal and up directions, respectively.

Abstract:The accuracy of the most commonly used integrated navigation system of inertial navigation system (INS) and global navigation satellite system (GNSS) is greatly influenced by the quality of satellite signals. Based on the most commonly used navigation system that is equipped with barometer and airspeedometer, a new navigation algorithm is proposed for fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to bridge GNSS outages. We estimate the constant component of wind and subtract it from the airspeed to obtain the ground velocity in the presence of GNSS outages. Then, a centripetal force model is introduced to estimate the motion acceleration. Compensated by this acceleration, the gravity vector can be extracted from the accelerometer measurement. Finally, an extended Kalman filter (EKF) is used to integrate the reconstructed system. The presented algorithm is implemented and the hardware-in-loop simulation results illustrate that the new method significantly improves the accuracy for dynamic navigation relative to INS-only solutions during GNSS outages. © 2013 IEEE.

Abstract:Abstract. With advances in computing and sensor technologies, onboard systems can deal with a large amount of data and achieve real-time process continuously and accurately. In order to further enhance the performance of positioning, high definition map (HD map) is one of the game changers for future autonomous driving. Instead of directly using Inertial Navigation System and Global Navigation Satellite System (INS/GNSS) navigation solutions to conduct the Direct Geo-referencing (DG) and acquiring 3D mapping information, Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) relies heavily on environmental features to derive the position and attitude as well as conducting the mapping at the same time. In this research, the new structure is proposed to integrate the INS/GNSS into LiDAR Odometry and Mapping (LOAM) algorithm and enhance the mapping performance. The first contribution is using the INS/GNSS to provide the short-term relative position information for the mapping process when the LiDAR odometry process is failed. The checking process is built to detect the divergence of LiDAR odometry process based on the residual from correspondences of features and innovation sequence of INS/GNSS. More importantly, by integrating with INS/GNSS, the whole global map is located in the standard global coordinate system (WGS84) which can be shared and employed easily and seamlessly. In this research, the designed land vehicle platform includes commercial INS/GNSS integrated product as a reference, relatively low-cost and lower grade INS system and Velodyne LiDAR with 16 laser channels, respectively. The field test is conducted from outdoor to the indoor underground parking lot and the final solution using the proposed method has a significant improvement as well as building a more accurate and reliable map for future use.

Abstract:Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) provides accurate positioning data for vehicular navigation in open outdoor environment. In an indoor environment, Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) establishes a two-dimensional map and provides positioning data. However, LIDAR can only provide relative positioning data and it cannot directly provide the latitude and longitude of the current position. As a consequence, GNSS/Inertial Navigation System (INS) integrated navigation could be employed in outdoors, while the indoors part makes use of INS/LIDAR integrated navigation and the corresponding switching navigation will make the indoor and outdoor positioning consistent. In addition, when the vehicle enters the garage, the GNSS signal will be blurred for a while and then disappeared. Ambiguous GNSS satellite signals will lead to the continuous distortion or overall drift of the positioning trajectory in the indoor condition. Therefore, an INS/LIDAR seamless integrated navigation algorithm and a switching algorithm based on vehicle navigation system are designed. According to the experimental data, the positioning accuracy of the INS/LIDAR navigation algorithm in the simulated environmental experiment is 50% higher than that of the Dead Reckoning (DR) algorithm. Besides, the switching algorithm developed based on the INS/LIDAR integrated navigation algorithm can achieve 80% success rate in navigation mode switching.

Abstract:Introduction Treatment of pediatric malignancies is becoming progressively more complex, implying the adoption of multimodal therapies. A reliable, long-lasting venous access represents one of the critical requirements for the success of those treatments. Recent technical innovations—such as minimally invasive procedures for placement, new devices and novel materials—have rapidly spread for clinical use in adult patients, but are still not consistently used in the pediatric population. Methods The Supportive Therapy Working Group of Italian Association of Hematology and Oncology (AIEOP) reviewed medical literature focusing on new aspects of central venous access devices (VADs) in pediatric patients affected by oncohematological diseases. Results Appropriate recommendations for clinical use in these patients have been discussed and formulated. Conclusions The importance of the correct choice, management and use of VADs in pediatric oncohematological patients is a necessary prerequisite for an adequate standard of care, also considering the increased chances of cure and the longer life expectancy of those patients with modern therapies.

Abstract:Automated driving has made considerable progress recently. The multisensor fusion system is a game changer in making self-driving cars possible. In the near future, multisensor fusion will be necessary to meet the high accuracy needs of automated driving systems. This paper proposes a multisensor fusion design, including an inertial navigation system (INS), a global navigation satellite system (GNSS), and light detection and ranging (LiDAR), to implement 3D simultaneous localization and mapping (INS/GNSS/3D LiDAR-SLAM). The proposed fusion structure enhances the conventional INS/GNSS/odometer by compensating for individual drawbacks such as INS-drift and error-contaminated GNSS. First, a highly integrated INS-aiding LiDAR-SLAM is presented to improve the performance and increase the robustness to adjust to varied environments using the reliable initial values from the INS. Second, the proposed fault detection exclusion (FDE) contributes SLAM to eliminate the failure solutions such as local solution or the divergence of algorithm. Third, the SLAM position velocity acceleration (PVA) model is used to deal with the high dynamic movement. Finally, an integrity assessment benefits the central fusion filter to avoid failure measurements into the update process based on the information from INS-aiding SLAM, which increases the reliability and accuracy. Consequently, our proposed multisensor design can deal with various situations such as long-term GNSS outage, deep urban areas, and highways. The results show that the proposed method can achieve an accuracy of under 1 meter in challenging scenarios, which has the potential to contribute the autonomous system.

Abstract:High-precision positioning and navigation are necessary for autonomous driving. GNSS RTK and INS integrated system is commonly used in vehicular navigation. But it suffers from severe signal reflections and blockages of GNSS signals and error accumulation of INS with MEMS-IMU in GNSS-challenging environment. In addition, high-definition (HD) maps in vector format and light detection and ranging (LiDAR) are two common options for intelligent vehicles. A tightly coupled localization method with vector HD map, LiDAR, GNSS RTK, and INS is proposed to take advantage of their complementary characteristics to accurately navigate a vehicle in a GNSS-challenging environment. The method is based on a particle filter (PF) framework. Lateral positions of particles are constrained by LiDAR measurements and lane information in the vector HD map. A constrained and damped LAMBDA searching method is proposed to update particle weights, aiming to find accurate longitudinal localization. Experimental results prove that our method can maintain sub-meter level horizontal positioning accuracy in GNSS-challenging environment, with improvements of (77%, 75%, 64% and 65%), regarding to three-dimensional position and yaw, compared to traditional GNSS-RTK/INS integration, while the improvement of the popular GNSS-RTK/INS/LiDAR integrated framework LIO-SAM is (16%, 53%, 48% and 51%).

Abstract:Global navigation satellite system (GNSS), inertial measurement unit (IMU), and light detection and ranging (LiDAR), as common sensors in navigation systems, are widely used in fusion simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) to improve the performance. However, strong robustness and high efficiency are not received much attention, posing challenges for ubiquitous application of robotics systems. This article presents a robust and fast fusion odometry with inertial navigation system (INS)-centric multiple modalities. Specifically, our framework is based on two subsystems: the GNSS-IMU subsystem estimates coarse states and provides global constraints, the LiDAR-IMU subsystem refines states and constructs the 3-D map. The state estimation is performed by iterated error state Kalman filter without interruption even if partial sensor fails. Moreover, a fast and dynamic frame transformation method and distributed backward propagation are designed for linking world-frame states with global measurements and coping with asynchronism data. Extensive qualitative and quantitative experiments are also conducted on public datasets and in real-world scenarios. The results show that our system exhibits competitive accuracy and efficiency, with strong robustness against sensor degradation and failure.

Abstract:In this paper, we proposed a multi-sensor integrated navigation system composed of GNSS (global navigation satellite system), IMU (inertial measurement unit), odometer (ODO), and LiDAR (light detection and ranging)-SLAM (simultaneous localization and mapping). The dead reckoning results were obtained using IMU/ODO in the front-end. The graph optimization was used to fuse the GNSS position, IMU/ODO pre-integration results, and the relative position and relative attitude from LiDAR-SLAM to obtain the final navigation results in the back-end. The odometer information is introduced in the pre-integration algorithm to mitigate the large drift rate of the IMU. The sliding window method was also adopted to avoid the increasing parameter numbers of the graph optimization. Land vehicle tests were conducted in both open-sky areas and tunnel cases. The tests showed that the proposed navigation system can effectually improve accuracy and robustness of navigation. During the navigation drift evaluation of the mimic two-minute GNSS outages, compared to the conventional GNSS/INS (inertial navigation system)/ODO integration, the root mean square (RMS) of the maximum position drift errors during outages in the proposed navigation system were reduced by 62.8%, 72.3%, and 52.1%, along the north, east, and height, respectively. Moreover, the yaw error was reduced by 62.1%. Furthermore, compared to the GNSS/IMU/LiDAR-SLAM integration navigation system, the assistance of the odometer and non-holonomic constraint reduced vertical error by 72.3%. The test in the real tunnel case shows that in weak environmental feature areas where the LiDAR-SLAM can barely work, the assistance of the odometer in the pre-integration is critical and can effectually reduce the positioning drift along the forward direction and maintain the SLAM in the short-term. Therefore, the proposed GNSS/IMU/ODO/LiDAR-SLAM integrated navigation system can effectually fuse the information from multiple sources to maintain the SLAM process and significantly mitigate navigation error, especially in harsh areas where the GNSS signal is severely degraded and environmental features are insufficient for LiDAR-SLAM.

3D LiDAR Aided GNSS/INS Integration Fault Detection, Localization and Integrity Assessment in Urban Canyons

Abstract:The performance of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) and Inertial Navigation System (INS) integrated navigation can be severely degraded in urban canyons due to the non-line-of-sight (NLOS) signals and multipath effects. Therefore, to achieve a high-precision and robust integrated system, real-time fault detection and localization algorithms are needed to ensure integrity. Currently, the residual chi-square test is used for fault detection in the positioning domain, but it has poor sensitivity when faults disappear. Three-dimensional (3D) light detection and ranging (LiDAR) has good positioning performance in complex environments. First, a LiDAR aided real-time fault detection algorithm is proposed. A test statistic is constructed by the mean deviation of the matched targets, and a dynamic threshold is constructed by a sliding window. Second, to solve the problem that measurement noise is estimated by prior modeling with a certain error, a LiDAR aided real-time measurement noise estimation based on adaptive filter localization algorithm is proposed according to the position deviations of matched targets. Finally, the integrity of the integrated system is assessed. The error bound of integrated positioning is innovatively verified with real test data. We conduct two experiments with a vehicle going through a viaduct and a floor hole, which, represent mid and deep urban canyons, respectively. The experimental results show that in terms of fault detection, the fault could be detected in mid urban canyons and the response time of fault disappearance is reduced by 70.24% in deep urban canyons. Thus, the poor sensitivity of the residual chi-square test for fault disappearance is improved. In terms of localization, the proposed algorithm is compared with the optimal fading factor adaptive filter (OFFAF) and the extended Kalman filter (EKF). The proposed algorithm is the most effective, and the Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) in the east and north is reduced by 12.98% and 35.1% in deep urban canyons. Regarding integrity assessment, the error bound can overbound the positioning errors in deep urban canyons relative to the EKF and the mean value of the error bounds is reduced.

The simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) is one of the well-developed positioning technology that provides high accuracy and reliability positioning for automatic vehicles and robotics applications. Integrating Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) with an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) has emerged as a promising technique for achieving stable navigation results in dense urban environments, outperforming vision-based or pure Inertial Navigation System (INS) solutions. However, conventional LiDAR-Inertial SLAM systems often suffer from limited perception of surrounding geometric information, resulting in unexpected and accumulating errors. In this paper, we proposed a LiDAR-Inertial SLAM scheme that utilizes a prior structural information map which is generated from opensource OpenStreetMap (OSM). In contrast to conventional solutions of OSM-aided SLAM approaches, our method extracts the vectorized models of road and building and synthetically generates dense point maps for LiDAR registration. Specifically, a structural map processing module extracts the road models and building models from OSM and generates a structure information map (SIM) with dense point clouds. Secondly, a map aided distance (MD) constraint is calculated by registering selected keyframes and the prior SIM. Finally, a factor graph optimization (FGO) algorithm is involved to integrate the relative transformation obtained from LiDAR odometry, IMU pre-integration, and the map aided distance constraints. To evaluate the proposed LiDAR-based positioning accuracy, experimental evaluation is implemented in an opensource dataset collected in the urban canyon environments. Experimental results demonstrates that with the help of the proposed MD constraint, the LiDAR-based navigation solution can achieve accurate positioning, with a root mean square deviation (RSME) of 4.7 m.

Abstract:In scenarios with insufficient structural features, LiDAR-based SLAM may suffer from degeneracy, resulting in impaired robot localization and mapping and potentially leading to subsequent deviant navigation tasks. Therefore, it is crucial to develop advanced algorithms and techniques to mitigate the degeneracy issue and ensure the robustness and accuracy of LiDAR-based SLAM. This paper presents a LiDAR–inertial simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) method based on a virtual inertial navigation system (VINS) to address the issue of degeneracy. We classified different gaits and match each gait to its corresponding torso inertial measurement unit (IMU) sensor to construct virtual foot inertial navigation components. By combining an inertial navigation system (INS) with zero-velocity updates (ZUPTs), we formed the VINS to achieve real-time estimation and correction. Finally, the corrected pose estimation was input to the IMU odometry calculation procedure to further refine the localization and mapping results. To evaluate the effectiveness of our proposed VINS method in degenerate environments, we conducted experiments in three typical scenarios. The results demonstrate the high suitability and accuracy of the proposed method in degenerate scenes and show an improvement in the point clouds mapping effect. The algorithm's versatility is emphasized by its wide applicability on GPU platforms, including quadruped robots and human wearable devices. This broader potential range of applications extends to other related fields such as autonomous driving.

Abstract:Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) is one of the key issues for mobile robots to achieve true autonomy. The implementations of SLAM could rely on a variety of sensors. Among many types of them, the laser-based SLAM approach is widely used owing to its high accuracy, even in poor lighting conditions. However, when in structure-less environments, laser modules will fail due to a lack of sufficient geometric features. Besides, motion estimation by moving lidar has the problem of distortion since range measurements are received continuously. To solve these problems, we propose a tightly-coupled SLAM integrating LiDAR and an integrated navigation system (INS) for unmanned vehicle navigation in campus environments. On the basis of feature extraction, a constraint equation for inter-frame point cloud features is constructed, and the pose solution results of the INS are added as a priori data for inter-frame point cloud registration. The Levenberg-Marquardt nonlinear least square method is used to solve the constraint equation to obtain inter-frame pose relationships. Map matching and loop closure detection methods are used to optimize the odometer, and the optimal pose information is obtained. The proposed SLAM algorithm is evaluated by comparing with the classic open-source laser SLAM algorithms on the campus dataset. Experimental results demonstrate that our proposed algorithm has certain advantages in estimating the trajectory error of the unmanned vehicle and has higher mapping performance.

Abstract:Abstract. To meet the autopilot demand of autonomous vehicle, higher automation level accompanies with higher consideration of safety factor to improve navigation accuracy. Moreover, it shall be stable under diverse environment, e.g., semi-open sky, urban, traffic jam, etc, where conventional navigation methods, the Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) and global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), might be limited. Thus, auxiliary sensor, the light detection and ranging (LiDAR), is applied to provide additional information to assist navigation under GNSS challenging environment, and fulfil Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM). To initially align the LiDAR point cloud, initial pose is generated by Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) through Loosely Coupled (LC) scheme, assisting with motion constraints, including Zero Velocity Update (ZUPT), Non-Holonomic Constraints (NHC), and Zero Integrated Heading Rate (ZIHR) function. With point cloud after initial alignment, registration method applied in this research is point to distribution based-Normal Distribution Transform (P2D-NDT), with scan to dynamic map matching. However, pure LiDAR-SLAM estimated solution remains faults in each measurement, which will propagate through computation and leads to false navigation outcome. Therefore, this paper proposed Fault Detection, Isolation, and Exclusion (FDIE) scheme to exclude the faults in each step of LiDAR-SLAM process. The final estimated solution is compared to robust reference data, the results turn out that convention navigation method work well under stable GNSS signal environment, while significant accuracy enhancement is achieved with NDT and FDE under large initial pose offset, such as GNSS signal blocked area.

Abstract:In this paper, we design a versatile multi-sensor aided inertial navigation system (MINS) that can efficiently fuse multi-modal measurements of IMU, camera, wheel encoder, GPS, and 3D LiDAR along with online spatiotemporal sensor calibration. Building upon our prior work [1] –[3], in this work we primarily focus on efficient LiDAR integration in a sliding-window filtering fashion. As each 3D LiDAR scan contains a large volume of 3D points which poses great challenges for real-time performance, we advocate using plane patches, which contain the environmental structural information, extracted from the sparse LiDAR point cloud to update/calibrate the system efficiently. The proposed LiDAR plane patch processing algorithm (including extraction, data association, and update) is shown to be efficient and consistent. Both Extensive Monte-Carlo simulations and real-world datasets with large-scale urban driving scenarios have been used to verify the accuracy and consistency of the proposed MINS algorithm.
