Abstract:The stressors, such as microgravity, noise, radiation, narrow and isolated environment and excessive workload, affect astronauts' physical and mental health. Stress-induced disruption in nervous system, including decreased ability to response and perform physical or mental tasks during medium-term or long-term space flight, which can impact both astronauts' health and accomplishment of the task. This is a crucial space medicine issue to be solved. This paper reviews the progress on the hazard, mechanism, precipitating factors and countermeasure of stress injury in spaceflight and provides theories to develop the prevention and treatment of spaceflight-related stress injury.
