Abstract:Dyslexia is a learning disability that primarily disrupts one's ability to read, write and spell. About 15-20% of the world population is affected by dyslexia, which signals it is a concerning subject. A systematic literature review was conducted on this research to evaluate trending interventions, common accessibility features, and potential barriers to existing assistive devices and to identify any research gaps. Papers published over the period (2015-2023) of 8 years were reviewed, and the data was meticulously analyzed. This research shows that technological-based interventions are leading interventions, especially with the use of mobile apps and augmentative realities. More innovative technologies like virtual reality, NLP, haptic, and tangible user interfaces are emerging to provide unique solutions addressing the user's needs. Non-computing devices are less effective compared to modern digital solutions however, they provide a promising alternative.

What problem does this paper attempt to address?
The main problem that this paper attempts to solve is to evaluate and analyze assistive technologies for children with dyslexia in order to enhance these children's learning experiences. Specifically, through a systematic literature review, the paper aims to: 1. **Identify current interventions**: Understand what interventions are currently available to enhance the learning experiences of children with dyslexia and analyze the key features of these measures. 2. **Summarize common accessibility features**: Explore the common accessibility features integrated in existing interventions to help children with dyslexia better use these technologies. 3. **Discover research gaps and innovation opportunities**: Identify the deficiencies in current assistive technology research and explore possible future innovation directions. ### Paper Background Dyslexia is a learning disorder that affects reading, writing, and spelling abilities, and approximately 15 - 20% of the global population is affected. This disorder mainly stems from difficulties in the brain's processing of phonemes, leading to challenges for children in reading fluency and word recognition. Although there are no drugs or cures, special education and technological aids can help improve their learning skills. ### Research Methods To achieve the above - mentioned goals, the author conducted a systematic literature review and screened relevant papers published between 2015 and 2023. Research methods include: - **Database sources**: Collect literature through academic search engines such as ACM, IEEE, and Google Scholar. - **Keyword search**: Use a structured Boolean search strategy, combined with relevant terms such as "dyslexia", "children", and "technology" for retrieval. - **Inclusion and exclusion criteria**: Define strict inclusion and exclusion criteria to ensure the relevance and quality of the selected literature. ### Main Findings The paper points out that technology - based interventions, especially mobile applications and augmented reality (AR), are becoming mainstream. These technologies provide personalized learning experiences through multi - sensory methods (visual, auditory, kinesthetic, tactile), significantly enhancing the learning effectiveness of children with dyslexia. In addition, emerging technologies such as virtual reality (VR), natural language processing (NLP), tactile devices, and tangible user interfaces also show great potential. ### Conclusion Overall, this paper emphasizes the important role of technology in assisting children with dyslexia in learning and points out the directions that future research should focus on, such as developing more effective multi - sensory learning tools and personalized interventions. In this way, the paper not only summarizes the achievements of existing research but also provides valuable references and guidance for future scientific research work.
