Abstract:We study a class of non-reversible, continuous-time random walks in random environments on $\mathbb{Z}^d$ that admit a cycle representation with finite cycle length. The law of the transition rates, taking values in $[0, \infty)$, is assumed to be stationary and ergodic with respect to space shifts. Moreover, the transition rate from $x$ to $y$, denoted by $c^\omega(x,y)$, is a superposition of non-negative random weights on oriented cycles that contain the edge $(x,y)$. We prove a quenched invariance principle under moment conditions that are comparable to the well-known p-q moment condition of Andres, Deuschel, and Slowik [2] for the random conductance model. A key ingredient in proving the sublinearity is an energy estimate for the non-symmetric generator. Our result extends that of Deuschel and Kösters [12] beyond strong ellipticity and bounded cycle lengths.

What problem does this paper attempt to address?
The main problem that this paper attempts to solve is about the Quenched Invariance Principle (QIP) of non - reversible continuous - time random walks with finite cycle decomposition in a random environment. Specifically, the author studied a class of non - reversible random walks defined on \( \mathbb{Z}^d \) that allow for a finite - length cycle representation. The transition rates of such random walks are superpositions of random weights taking values in [0, ∞), and these weights are defined on directed cycles containing edges (x, y). ### Main problems 1. **Quenched Invariance Principle**: Prove that under appropriate moment conditions, the Quenched Invariance Principle holds for this non - reversible random walk. This means that under almost every environment ω, the diffusively - scaled random walk converges to a Brownian motion. 2. **Asymmetry and unbounded cycle length**: Deal with the challenges brought by asymmetric generators and unbounded cycle lengths, especially when the standard sector condition is no longer satisfied, how to control the sub - linear growth of the correction term. ### Key points of the solution - **Moment conditions**: Introduce appropriate moment conditions to ensure the existence and sub - linear growth of the correction term. For example, require moment conditions on the weighted cycle length, which can ensure that the \( H^{-1} \) norm of the drift term is bounded. - **Correction term construction**: Construct the correction term through the Lax - Milgram theorem and use discrete PDE techniques to prove its almost everywhere sub - linear growth. - **Energy estimates**: Deal with the energy estimates of asymmetric generators, especially in the case of unbounded cycle lengths, use the De Giorgi iteration method instead of the Moser iteration. ### Formula representation - Construction of the correction term: \[ L_\omega \chi_i(\omega, x) = V_i(\omega, x) \] where \( V_i(\omega, x) = \sum_{z \in N} c_\omega(x, x + z) z_i \), and \( z_i \) represents the \( i \)-th component of the vector \( z \). - Conditions for the Quenched Invariance Principle: \[ \text{Assume } p, q\in(1, \infty] \text{ such that } \frac{1}{p}+\frac{1}{q}<\frac{2}{d} \] and the following moment conditions are satisfied: \[ E[\mu(2),\omega(0)^p]<\infty, \quad E\left[\left(\frac{1}{c_\omega^s(0,z)}\right)^q\right]<\infty\quad \forall z\in N \] Through these methods, the author has successfully extended the existing Quenched Invariance Principle results to make them applicable to cases of non - uniform ellipticity and unbounded cycle lengths.
