Abstract:The purpose of this paper is to present a new class of operators known as polynomially hypo-EP operators, extending the notation of hypo-EP, $n$-hypo-EP, and polynomially EP. The paper explores numerous properties and characterizations of polynomially hypo-EP operators and polynomially EP operators. In addition, we characterize polynomially hypo-EP operators applying the adequate operator matrix representations. By employing these findings, we derive new characterizations of EP, hypo-EP, $n$-EP and $n$-hypo-EP.

Abstract:A bounded linear operator $ A$ on a Hilbert space $ \mathcal H $ is said to be an $ EP $ (hypo-$ EP $) operator if ranges of $ A $ and $ A^* $ are equal (range of $ A $ is contained in range of $ A^* $) and $ A $ has a closed range. In this paper, we define $EP$ and hypo-$EP$ operators for densely defined closed linear operators on Hilbert spaces and extend results from bounded operator settings to (possibly unbounded) closed operator settings.

Abstract:In this paper, we present intriguing findings that characterize both the closed (unbounded) and bounded EP operators on Hilbert spaces. Additionally, we demonstrate the result $\gamma(T) \leq r(T)$, where $T$ is a bounded EP operator, and $\gamma(T) \text{ and } r(T)$ represent the reduced minimum modulus and the spectral radius of $T$, respectively.

Abstract:Fuglede-Putnam theorem is not true in general for $ EP $ operators on Hilbert spaces. We prove that under some conditions the theorem holds good. If the adjoint operation is replaced by Moore-Penrose inverse in the theorem, we get Fuglede-Putnam type theorem for $ EP $ operators -- however proofs are totally different. Finally, interesting results on $ EP $ operators have been proved using several versions of Fuglede-Putnam type theorems for $ EP $ operators on Hilbert spaces.

Abstract:In this paper we attempt to lay the foundations for a theory encompassing some natural extensions of the class of subnormal operators, namely the $n$--subnormal operators and the sub-$n$--normal operators. We discuss inclusion relations among the above mentioned classes and other related classes, e.g., $n$--quasinormal and quasi-$n$--normal operators. We show that sub-$n$--normality is stronger than $n$--subnormality, and produce a concrete example of a $3$--subnormal operator which is not sub-$2$--normal. In \cite{CU1}, R.E. Curto, S.H. Lee and J. Yoon proved that if an operator $T$ is subnormal, left-invertible, and such that $T^n$ is quasinormal for some $n \le 2$, then $T$ is quasinormal. in \cite{JS}, P.Pietrzycki and J. Stochel improved this result by removing the assumption of left invertibility. In this paper we consider suitable analogs of this result for the case of operators in the above-mentioned classes. In particular, we prove that the weight sequence of an $n$--quasinormal unilateral weighted shift must be periodic with period at most $n$.

Abstract:By using the isometric decomposition to the frequency spaces, we will introduce a new class of function spaces Ep,qλ, which is a subspace of Gevrey 1-class G1(Rn)⊂C∞(Rn) for λ>0, and we will study the Cauchy problem for the nonlinear Schrödinger equation, the complex Ginzburg–Landau equation and the Navier–Stokes equation. Some well-posed results are obtained for the Cauchy data in E2,10, and the regularity behavior in E2,1ct⊂G1(Rn) for the complex Ginzburg–Landau equation and the Navier–Stokes equation is also obtained as time t↘0.

Abstract:It is well known that a square complex matrix is called EP if it commutes with its Moore–Penrose inverse. In this paper, new classes of matrices which extend this concept are characterized. For that, we consider commutative equalities given by matrices of arbitrary index and generalized inverses recently investigated in the literature. More specifically, these classes are characterized by expressions of type , where X is an outer inverse of a given complex square matrix A and m is an arbitrary positive integer. The relationships between the different classes of matrices are also analyzed. Finally, a picture presents an overview of the overall studied classes.

Abstract:This article gives a fundamental discussion on variable coefficients, self-adjoint, formally partially hypoelliptic differential operators. A generalization of the results to pseudo differential operators, is given in a following article in ArXiv. Close to N. Nilsson "Some estimates for spectral functions connected with formally hypoelliptic differential operators" in Arkiv för matematik ,10, 1972, we give a construction and estimates for a fundamental solution to the operator in a suitable topology. Abstract:Exceptional points of order $n$ (EP$n$s) appear in non-Hermitian systems as points where the eigenvalues and eigenvectors coalesce. They emerge if $2(n-1)$ real constraints are imposed, such that EP2s generically appear in two dimensions (2D). Local symmetries have been shown to reduce this number of constraints. In this work, we provide a complete characterization of the appearance of symmetry-induced higher-order EPs in 2D parameter space. We find that besides EP2s only EP3s, EP4s, and EP5s can be stabilized in 2D. Moreover, these higher-order EPs must always appear in pairs with their dispersion determined by the symmetries. Upon studying the complex spectral structure around these EPs, we find that depending on the symmetry, EP3s are accompanied by EP2 arcs, and two- and three-level open Fermi structures. Similarly, EP4s and closely related EP5s, which arise due to multiple symmetries, are accompanied by exotic EP arcs and open Fermi structures. For each case, we provide an explicit example. We also comment on the topological charge of these EPs, and discuss similarities and differences between symmetry-protected higher-order EPs and EP2s.

Abstract:In this paper we consider the semiclassical version of pseudo-differential operators on the lattice space $\hbar \mathbb{Z}^n$. The current work is an extension of a previous work and agrees with it in the limit of the parameter $\hbar \rightarrow 1$. The various representations of the operators will be studied as well as the composition, transpose, adjoint and the link between ellipticity and parametrix of operators. We also give the conditions for the $\ell^p(\hbar \mathbb{Z}^n)$, weighted $\ell^2(\hbar \mathbb{Z}^n)$ boundedness and $\ell^p(\hbar \mathbb{Z}^n)$ compactness of operators. We investigate the relation between the classical and semi-classical quantization and employ its applications to Schatten-Von Neumann classes on $\ell^2( \hbar \mathbb{Z}^n)$. We establish Gårding and sharp Gårding inequalities, with an application to the well-posedness of parabolic equations on the lattice $\hbar \mathbb{Z}^n$. Finally we verify that in the limiting case where $\hbar \rightarrow 0$ the semi-classical calculus of pseudo-differential operators recovers the classical Euclidean calculus, but with a twist.
