Abstract:Motivated by the back-reaction debate, and~some unexplained characteristics of the CMB, we investigate the possibility of some anisotropy in the universe observed around us. To this aim, we build up a novel prediction for the Hubble law for the late universe from a Bianchi type I model, {taken as proof of concept,} transcribing the departure of such model from a $\Lambda$CDM model. We~dicussed the redshift measurement in this universe, and~finally formalized the Hubble diagram.

What problem does this paper attempt to address?
The main problem that this paper attempts to solve is the possible anisotropy in the universe. Specifically, the authors explored the possible anisotropy observed around us in the universe, especially the Hubble's law prediction in the late - stage universe. They constructed a new prediction based on the Bianchi I - type model as a proof - of - concept for deviation from the standard ΛCDM model. In addition, the paper also discussed redshift measurements in this anisotropic universe and finally formalized the Hubble diagram. The motivation of the paper stems from the concern about the back - reaction debate and some unexplained features of the cosmic microwave background (CMB). By establishing a Hubble diagram that can be directly compared with observational data, the authors hope to verify whether there is anisotropic expansion in the universe, especially whether this anisotropy can explain some currently observed anomalies, such as the hemispherical asymmetry of the CMB, the quadrupole - octupole alignment, the cold spot, and the tension between Hubble parameter measurements.
