Abstract:We investigate the current proportional to the cross product of an electric field and a temperature gradient, which we call the Nonlinear Chiral Thermo-Electric (NCTE) Hall effect, in 3D chiral magnetic structures. We analyze both discrete and continuous magnetization cases. From the analysis of discrete magnetization, we clarify the conditions for the emergence of the NCTE Hall effect caused by magnetic textures. In the continuous magnetization case, we show that the NCTE Hall conductivity is proportional to the density of magnetic monopoles. This study discovers unconventional phenomena unique to 3D magnetic textures, and has significant implications for spintronics and quantum transport.

What problem does this paper attempt to address?
The problem that this paper attempts to solve is to explore the nonlinear Hall effect (NCTE Hall effect) caused by the cross - product of electric field and temperature gradient in three - dimensional chiral magnetic structures. Specifically, the authors studied how the current responds to the cross - product of the electric field and temperature gradient in three - dimensional chiral magnetic textures, and analyzed the microscopic mechanism of this nonlinear thermoelectric Hall effect. ### Research Background and Problem Description In recent years, nonlinear transport phenomena have become a hot topic in condensed matter physics, and many new phenomena that cannot be explained by linear response have been discovered. Among them, the nonlinear Hall effect is an important example. It is manifested as the current flowing in the direction perpendicular to the applied electric field and is proportional to the quadratic term of the electric field strength. Different from the traditional (anomalous) Hall effect, the nonlinear Hall effect does not require the breaking of time - reversal symmetry, so it has unique physical properties. The research focus of this paper is on a special nonlinear Hall effect - **Nonlinear Chiral Thermo - Electric, NCTE Hall effect**, that is, the direction of the current is consistent with the direction of the cross - product of the electric field and temperature gradient. This effect is expected to only appear in chiral materials, and its symmetry is different from that of the nonlinear Hall effect caused by a single driving force. ### Research Methods and Findings The authors explored this problem in the following ways: 1. **Discrete magnetization case**: Studied the NCTE Hall effect under the discrete magnetic moment distribution, and determined the minimum spin configuration conditions required to produce this effect. 2. **Continuous magnetization case**: Studied the relationship between the NCTE Hall conductivity and the magnetic monopole density in the case of continuous magnetization, showing that the NCTE Hall conductivity is proportional to the magnetic monopole density. 3. **Theoretical model and calculation**: Used the non - equilibrium Green's functions (Keldysh Green's functions) to deal with the perturbation of s - d exchange interaction, calculated the NCTE Hall conductivity in detail, and showed the specific calculation process through Feynman diagrams. ### Main Conclusions - In the case of discrete magnetization, the NCTE Hall effect needs to satisfy three conditions: 1. Non - coplanar configuration of three local spins in spin space: \(\mathbf{S}_i\cdot(\mathbf{S}_j\times\mathbf{S}_l)\neq0\). 2. Spatial arrangement of three local spins forming a finite area on the xy - plane: \((\mathbf{a}\times\mathbf{b})_z\neq0\). 3. Spin distribution in the z - direction: \(c_z\neq0\). - In the case of continuous magnetization, the NCTE Hall conductivity is proportional to the density of magnetic monopoles, which can be regarded as a nonlinear extension of the topological Hall effect. ### Significance and Application Prospects This research reveals the unique nonlinear transport phenomena in three - dimensional magnetic textures, providing a new research direction for spintronics and quantum transport fields. In particular, the NCTE Hall effect can be used to achieve electrical detection of the total number of magnetic monopoles in the system, which is of great significance for understanding the topological properties in complex magnetic structures. In short, this paper not only expands our understanding of nonlinear transport phenomena through in - depth analysis of the nonlinear Hall effect in three - dimensional chiral magnetic structures, but also provides a theoretical basis for future experimental research.
