Abstract:In this paper, we study the existence and non-existence of entire solutions of certain non-linear delay-differential equations.

What problem does this paper attempt to address?
The problem that this paper attempts to solve is about the existence and non - existence of entire solutions of some nonlinear delay differential equations. Specifically, the author studied the following form of nonlinear delay differential equation: \[ f^n(z) f'(z) + \alpha(z) P(z + w) = \varphi(z) \sin(\kappa \gamma(z)) \] where: - \( n\geq2 \) - \( \alpha(z) \) is an entire function of finite order - \( \kappa \) is a non - zero constant - \( \varphi(z) \) and \( \gamma(z) \) are non - zero polynomials - \( P(z + w)=\sum_{i = 0}^{k}b_i f^{(i)}(z + w) \), where \( w\in\mathbb{C}\setminus\{0\} \) and \( b_i \) (at least one is non - zero) are constants The author's main goal is to prove that under certain conditions, the above equation has no entire solutions satisfying specific conditions. Specifically, if the entire function \( f(z) \) satisfies any of the following conditions: 1. \( \lambda(f)<\rho(f)=\infty \) and \( \rho_2(f)<\infty \) 2. \( \lambda_2(f)<\rho_2(f)<\infty \) Then \( f(z) \) cannot be a solution of the above equation. Here, \( \lambda(f) \) represents the exponent of convergence of zeros, \( \rho(f) \) represents the order of growth, \( \rho_2(f) \) represents the hyper - order of growth, and \( \lambda_2(f) \) represents the hyper - exponent of convergence of zeros. By using the basic concepts and lemmas in Nevanlinna value distribution theory, such as Borel's lemma, the author proved these results. These results further enrich the study of solutions of nonlinear delay differential equations, especially for the exploration of the existence and properties of entire solutions.
