Abstract:This note provides a short proof of the fact that the reduced scheme underlying each orbifold Quot scheme associated to a finite subgroup of SL(2,C) is isomorphic to a Nakajima quiver variety. Our approach uses recent work of the author with Yamagishi, allowing us to bypass the combinatorial arguments and the use of recollement from the original paper with Gammelgaard, Gyenge and Szendroi.

What problem does this paper attempt to address?
This paper aims to solve the problems related to orbifold Quot schemes associated with the finite subgroup \(\Gamma \subset SL(2, \mathbb{C})\). Specifically, the author provides a short proof showing that the reduced scheme structure of each orbifold Quot scheme associated with \(\Gamma\) is isomorphic to a Nakajima quiver variety \(M_\theta(1, v)\). Here, \(\Gamma\) is a non - trivial finite subgroup, and orbifold Quot schemes are a generalization of the Kleinian orbifold \([\mathbb{C}^2/\Gamma]\), similar to the Hilbert schemes of points on the ADE singularity \(\mathbb{C}^2/\Gamma\). The main contribution of the paper lies in simplifying the combinatorial arguments in the original proof and the method of using recollement, thus bypassing a loophole pointed out in the original proof. Moreover, through this method, the author proves that the reduced scheme structure of the orbifold Quot scheme is irreducible, the underlying reduced scheme is normal, and has symplectic singularity properties, and there also exists at least one projective symplectic resolution. Specifically, the core theorem of the paper is as follows: **Theorem 1**: Let \(I \subseteq \{0, 1,\ldots, r\}\) be a non - empty subset, \(n_I=(n_i)_{i \in I} \in \mathbb{N}^I\). There exists \(v = v(n_I)\in \mathbb{N}^{r + 1}\) and a stability condition \(\theta_I\) such that \[ \text{Quot}_{n_I}^I([\mathbb{C}^2/\Gamma])_{\text{red}} \cong M_{\theta_I}(1, v).\] This implies that \(\text{Quot}_{n_I}^I([\mathbb{C}^2/\Gamma])\) is irreducible, its reduced scheme structure is normal, and has symplectic singularity properties, and there also exists at least one projective symplectic resolution. Through this result, the author not only simplifies the original proof method but also provides a new perspective for understanding orbifold Quot schemes.
