Abstract:Many studies have examined the connection between the intention to start a business and environmental values. However, there still needs to be more knowledge in the extant literature about how climate change campaigns influence sustainable entrepreneurial intention. This study uses the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) to develop a theoretical framework to explain how climate change campaigns affect the intention to start a sustainable business. This interdisciplinary conceptual research model bridges the gap between climate awareness, sustainable values, and entrepreneurial intentions, offering a robust framework for understanding and fostering sustainable entrepreneurial behaviors. Our study lays the groundwork for future empirical studies and real-world interventions to advance sustainability through entrepreneurship.

What problem does this paper attempt to address?
The paper attempts to address the relationship between climate awareness and sustainable entrepreneurial intentions. Specifically, the paper constructs a conceptual framework through the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) to explain how the climate change movement influences people's environmental values and further affects their willingness to engage in sustainable entrepreneurship. The main objectives of the paper include: 1. **Exploring the impact of the climate change movement on environmental values**: By analyzing how the climate change movement raises public awareness of climate change, thereby shaping their sustainable development values. 2. **Establishing the link between environmental values and sustainable entrepreneurial intentions**: Investigating how individuals' environmental values influence their attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control towards engaging in sustainable entrepreneurship. 3. **Expanding the Theory of Planned Behavior**: Introducing climate change awareness as a moderating variable into the TPB model to explain the specific mechanisms of sustainable entrepreneurial intentions. Through this research, the paper hopes to lay a theoretical foundation for future empirical studies and practical interventions on sustainable entrepreneurship, thereby promoting the goal of achieving sustainable development through entrepreneurship.
