Abstract:We prove that Fargues-Scholze's semisimplified local Langlands correspondence (for quasisplit groups) with $\overline{\mathbb{F}}_\ell$-coefficients is compatible with Deligne and Kazhdan's philosophy of close fields. From this, we deduce that the same holds with $\overline{\mathbb{Q}}_\ell$-coefficients after restricting to wild inertia, addressing questions of Gan-Harris-Sawin and Scholze. The proof involves constructing a moduli space of nonarchimedean local fields and then extending Fargues-Scholze's work to this context.

What problem does this paper attempt to address?
The problem that this paper attempts to solve is about the compatibility of the local Langlands correspondence in the framework of the "nearby field" theory. Specifically, the author proves that the Fargues - Scholze semi - simplified local Langlands correspondence (for quasi - split groups) is compatible with the nearby field philosophy of Deligne and Kazhdan. In addition, the paper also explores whether this compatibility also applies to the case with \( \mathbb{Q}_\ell \) coefficients when restricted to the wild inertia subgroup. ### Main contributions of the paper 1. **Compatibility of \( F_\ell \) coefficients**: - The author proves that for any given \( n \), there exists an integer \( d\geq n \) such that for all \( p \)-adic fields \( E \) with absolute ramification index \( e\geq d \), the Fargues - Scholze semi - simplified local Langlands correspondence can be restricted to a mapping: \[ \text{LLC}^{\text{ss}}_G: \left\{ \begin{array}{c} Smooth representations \(\pi\) of \(G(E)\\ On \(F_\ell\) and \((\pi)^{K_n}\neq 0 \end{array} \right\} \rightarrow \left\{ \begin{array}{c} Semi - simple \(L\)-parameters \(\rho\) of \(G\\ On \(F_\ell\) and \(\rho|_{I_d} = 1 \end{array} \right\} \] - This mapping is commutative under certain specific conditions. 2. **Compatibility of \( \mathbb{Q}_\ell \) coefficients**: - The author further proves that in the case of being restricted to the wild inertia subgroup, the above compatibility also applies to the case with \( \mathbb{Q}_\ell \) coefficients. Specifically, there exists an integer \( d\geq n \) such that for all \( p \)-adic fields \( E \) with absolute ramification index \( e\geq d \), the Fargues - Scholze semi - simplified local Langlands correspondence can be restricted to a mapping: \[ \text{LLC}^{\text{ss}}_G: \left\{ \begin{array}{c} Smooth representations \(\pi\) of \(G(E)\\ On \(\mathbb{Q}_\ell\) and \((\pi)^{K_n}\neq 0 \end{array} \right\} \rightarrow \left\{ \begin{array}{c} Semi - simple \(L\)-parameters \(\rho\) of \(G\\ On \(\mathbb{Q}_\ell\) and \(\rho|_{I_d} = 1 \end{array} \right\} \] - This mapping is also commutative after being restricted to the wild inertia subgroup. ### Proof ideas 1. **Construction of the moduli space**: - The author first introduces a moduli space of non - Archimedean local fields, which helps to conceptualize the heuristic view of "nearby fields". - By constructing a topological ring \( E \), such that the topological space of its corresponding affine spectrum \( \text{Spa }E \) is naturally homeomorphic to the one - point compactification of the discrete space \( \mathbb{N}\cup\{\infty\} \).
