Abstract:We classify $n$-representation infinite algebras $\Lambda$ of type Ã. This type is defined by requiring that $\Lambda$ has higher preprojective algebra $\Pi_{n+1}(\Lambda) \simeq k[x_1, \ldots, x_{n+1}] \ast G$, where $G \leq \operatorname{SL}_{n+1}(k)$ is finite abelian. For the classification, we group these algebras according to a more refined type, and give a combinatorial characterisation of these types. This is based on so-called height functions, which generalise the height function of a perfect matching in a Dimer model. In terms of toric geometry and McKay correspondence, the types form a lattice simplex of junior elements of $G$. We show that all algebras of the same type are related by iterated $n$-APR tilting, and hence are derived equivalent. By disallowing certain tilts, we turn this set into a finite distributive lattice, and we construct its maximal and minimal elements.

Abstract:The article focuses on four aspects related to the descent algebras of type $A$. They are modular idempotents, higher Lie powers, higher Lie modules and the right ideals of the symmetric group algebras generated by the Solomon's descent elements. More precisely, we give a construction for the modular idempotents, describe the dimension and character for higher Lie powers and study the structures of the higher Lie modules and the right ideals both in the ordinary and modular cases.

Abstract:We present the notion of non-abelian descent type, which classifies torsors up to twisting by a Galois cocycle. This relies on the previous construction of kernels and non-abelian Galois 2-cohomology due to Springer and Borovoi. The necessity of descent types arises in the context of the descent theory where no torsors are given a priori, for example, when we wish to study the arithmetic properties such as the Brauer--Manin obstruction to the Hasse principle on homogeneous spaces without rational points. This new definition also unifies the types by Colliot-Thélène--Sansuc, the extended types by Harari--Skorobogatov, and the finite descent type by Harpaz--Wittenberg.

Abstract:We introduce the notion of "finite general representation type" for a finite-dimensional algebra, a property related to the "dense orbit property" introduced by Chindris-Kinser-Weyman. We use an interplay of geometric, combinatorial, and algebraic methods to produce a family of algebras of wild representation type but finite general representation type. For completeness, we also give a short proof that the only local algebras of discrete general representation type are already of finite representation type. We end with a Brauer-Thrall style conjecture for general representations of algebras.

Abstract:The aim of this paper is mainly to build a new representation-theoretic realization of finite root systems through the so-called Frobenius-type triangular matrix algebras by the method of reflection functors over any field. Finally, we give an analog of APR-tilting module for this class of algebras. The major conclusions contains the known results as special cases, e.g. that for path algebras over an algebraically closed field and for path algebras with relations from symmetrizable cartan matrices. Meanwhile, it means the corresponding results for some other important classes of algebras, that is, the path algebras of quivers over Frobenius algebras and the generalized path algebras endowed by Frobenius algebras at vertices.

Abstract:The main aim of this study is to characterize representation rings and derived representation rings of a class of finite dimensional Hopf algebras constructed from the Nakayama truncated algebras KZ(n)/J(d) with certain constraints. For the representation ring r(K Z(n)/J(d)), we completely determine its generators and the relations of generators via the method of the Pascal triangle. For the derived representation ring dr(K Z(n) / J(2))( i.e., d = 2), we determine its generators and give the relations of generators. For these two aspects, the polynomial characterizations of the representation ring and the derived representation rings are both given. Representation rings are well-known as Green rings from module categories over Hopf algebras. We have studied Green rings in the context of monoidal categories such that representations of Hopf algebras can be investigated through Green rings of various levels from module categories to derived categories from a unified viewpoint. Firstly, as analogues of representation rings of Hopf algebras, we set up so-called Green rings of monoidal categories, and then we list some such categories including module, complex, homotopy, derived and (derived) shift, categories, and the relationship among their corresponding Green rings.

Abstract:In this paper, we use Galois descent techniques to find suitable representatives of the regular simple representations of the species of type $(2,2)$ over $k_n := k[\varepsilon^{1/n}]$, where $n$ is a positive integer and $k:=\mathbb{C}(\!(\varepsilon)\!)$ is the field of Laurent series over the complexes. These regular representations are essential for the definition of canonical algebras. Our work is inspired by the work done for species of type $(1,4)$ on $k$ in ``A model for the canonical algebras of bimodules type (1, 4) over truncated polynomial rings''. We presents all the regular simple representations on the $n$-crown quiver, and from these, we establish a partial classification of regular simple representations of bimodules type $(2,2)$.

Abstract:Let $Q$ be a quiver of type $\mathbb{A}_n$ with linear orientation and $\operatorname{rep}(Q,\mathbb{F}_1)$ the category of representations of $Q$ over the virtual field $\mathbb{F}_1$.It is proved that $\operatorname{rep}(Q,\mathbb{F}_1)$ has global dimension $2$ whenever $n\geq 3$ and it is hereditary if $n\leq 2$. As a consequence, the Euler form $\langle L, M\rangle=\sum_{i=0}^\infty (-1)^i\operatorname{dim} \operatorname{Ext}^i(L,M)$ is well-defined. However, it does not descend to the Grothendieck group of $\operatorname{rep}(Q,\mathbb{F}_1)$. This yields negative answers to questions raised by Szczesny in [IMRN, Vol. 2012, No. 10, pp. 237-2404].

Abstract:Throughout, let $K$ be an algebraically closed field of characteristic $0$. We provide a generic classification of locally free representations of Geiss-Leclerc-Schröer's algebras $H_K(C,D,\Omega)$ associated to affine Cartan matrices $C$ with minimal symmetrizer $D$ and acyclic orientation $\Omega$. Affine GLS algebras are "smooth" degenerations of tame hereditary algebras and as such their representation theory is presumably still tractable. Indeed, we observe several "tame" phenomena of affine GLS algebras even though they are in general representation wild. For the GLS algebras of type $\tilde{BC}_1$, we achieve a classification of all stable representations. For general GLS algebras of affine type, we construct a $1$-parameter family of representations stable with respect to the defect. Our construction is based on a generalized one-point extension technique. This confirms in particular $\tau$-tilted versions of the second Brauer-Thrall Conjecture recently raised by Mousavand and Schroll-Treffinger-Valdivieso for the class of GLS algebras. Finally, we show that generically every locally free $H$-module is isomorphic to a direct sum of $\tau$-rigid modules and modules from our $1$-parameter family. This generalizes Kac's canonical decomposition from the symmetric to the symmetrizable case in affine types, and we obtain such a decomposition by "folding" the canonical decomposition of dimension vectors over path algebras. As a corollary we obtain that affine GLS algebras are $E$-tame in the sense of Derksen-Fei and Asai-Iyama.

This includes a generalization of the graph and root system folding relation to folding relations at the representation level, at the category level, and further at the derived category level. Abstract:We study the representation theory of Dynkin quivers of type A in abstract stable homotopy theories, including those associated to fields, rings, schemes, differential-graded algebras, and ring spectra. Reflection functors, (partial) Coxeter functors, and Serre functors are defined in this generality and these equivalences are shown to be induced by universal tilting modules, certain explicitly constructed spectral bimodules. In fact, these universal tilting modules are spectral refinements of classical tilting complexes. As a consequence we obtain split epimorphisms from the spectral Picard groupoid to derived Picard groupoids over arbitrary fields. These results are consequences of a more general calculus of spectral bimodules and admissible morphisms of stable derivators. As further applications of this calculus we obtain examples of universal tilting modules which are new even in the context of representations over a field. This includes Yoneda bimodules on mesh categories which encode all the other universal tilting modules and which lead to a spectral Serre duality result. Finally, using abstract representation theory of linearly oriented $A_n$-quivers, we construct canonical higher triangulations in stable derivators and hence, a posteriori, in stable model categories and stable $\infty$-categories.

Abstract:Quasi-hereditary algebras are introduced by Cline, Parshall and Scott in order to study highest weight categories in the representation theory of Lie algebras and algebraic groups (see [CPS]). These algebras seem to become a very interesting class of algebras.Let A be a quasi-hereditary k-algebras over an algebraically closed field Ic. C.M.Ringel constructed in [R2] a new quasi-hereditary algebra R(A) from the given quasi-hereditary algebra A, his construction of R(A) from A has the property R(R(A)) congruent to A for any basic quasi-hereditary algebra A. The module: used in his construction is in fact a generalized tilting module and of special interest in the representation theory of algebaic groups (see [D] and [E]). Following [E] we call the algebra R(A) the Ringel dual of A.Suppose a quasi-hereditary algebra A is given by a quiver with relations. How to determine the quiver of R(A) and its relations seems to be a very difficult question. However, in this paper we try to study the Ringel duals for dual extension algebras, defined in [X], of incidence algebras of posets of tree type and to describe quivers of their Ringel duals. The main result of this paper is an explicite description of the quivers of the Ringel duals of these algebras and implies in particular that the quivers of R(A) are bipartite.

Abstract:We prove two conjectures regarding the representation growth of groups of type $A_2$. The first, conjectured by Avni, Klopsch, Onn and Voll, regards the uniformity of representation zeta functions over local complete discrete valuation rings. The second is the Larsen--Lubotzky conjecture on the representation growth of irreducible lattices in groups of type $A_2$ in positive characteristic assuming Serre's conjecture on the congruence subgroup problem.
