Abstract:We give a class of domains for which Fridman invariant and injectivity radius function coincide with respect to Carathéodory metric. We give explicit expressions of the squeezing functions for these domains and investigate some of their properties.

Abstract:Very recently, the Fridman function of a complex manifold $X$ has been identified as a dual of the squeezing function of $X$. In this paper, we prove that the Fridman function for certain hyperbolic complex manifold $X$ is bounded above by the injectivity radius function of $X$. This result also suggests us to use the Fridman function to extend the definition of uniform thickness to higher-dimensional hyperbolic complex manifolds. We also establish an expression for the Fridman function (with respect to the Kobayashi metric) when $X = \mathbb{D} \diagup \Gamma$ and $\Gamma$ is a torsion-free discrete subgroup of isometries on the standard open unit disk $\mathbb{D}$. Hence, explicit formulae of the Fridman functions for the annulus $A_r$ and the punctured disk $\mathbb{D}^*$ are derived. These are the first explicit non-constant Fridman functions. Finally, we explore the boundary behaviour of the Fridman functions (with respect to the Kobayashi metric) and the squeezing functions for regular type hyperbolic Riemann surfaces and planar domains respectively.

Abstract:We show that if a bounded domain $\Omega$ is exhausted by a bounded strictly pseudoconvex domain $D$ with $C^2$ boundary, then $\Omega$ is holomorphically equivalent to $D$ or the unit ball, and show that a bounded domain has to be holomorphically equivalent to the unit ball if its Fridman's invariant has certain growth condition near the boundary.

Abstract:In this paper, we study the sharp constants of quantitative Hardy and Rellich inequalities on nonreversible Finsler manifolds equipped with arbitrary measures. In particular, these inequalities can be globally refined by adding remainder terms like the Brezis–Vázquez improvement, if Finsler manifolds are of strictly negative flag curvature, vanishing S-curvature and finite uniformity constant. Furthermore, these results remain valid when Finsler metrics are reversible.

Abstract:Let (X, tau(1)) and (Y, tau(2)) be two Hausdorff locally convex spaces with continuous duals X, and Y', respectively, L (X, Y) be the space of all continuous linear operators from X into Y, K (X, Y) be the space of all compact operators of L (X, Y). Let WOT and UOT be the weak operator topology and uniform operator topology on K (X, Y), respectively. In this paper, we characterize a full-invariant property of K (X, Y); that is, if the sequence space X has the signed-weak gliding hump property, then each; lambda-multiplier WOT-convergent series Sigma(i) T-i in K(X, Y) must be X-multiplier convergent with respect to all topologies between WOT and UOT if and only if each continuous linear operator T: (X, tau(1)) --> or (lambda(beta), sigma(lambda(beta),lambda)) is compact. Needle decompositions and isoperimetric inequalities in Finsler geometry

Abstract:Klartag recently gave a beautiful alternative proof of the isoperimetric inequalities of Levy-Gromov, Bakry-Ledoux, Bayle and E. Milman on weighted Riemannian manifolds. Klartag's approach is based on a generalization of the localization method (so-called needle decompositions) in convex geometry, inspired also by optimal transport theory. Cavalletti and Mondino subsequently generalized the localization method, in a different way more directly along optimal transport theory, to essentially non-branching metric measure spaces satisfying the curvature-dimension condition. This class in particular includes reversible (absolutely homogeneous) Finsler manifolds. In this paper, we construct needle decompositions of non-reversible (only positively homogeneous) Finsler manifolds, and show an isoperimetric inequality under bounded reversibility constants. A discussion on the curvature-dimension condition CD$(K,N)$ for $N = 0$ is also included, it would be of independent interest.

Abstract:We introduce new flatness coefficients, which we call \emph{$\iota$-numbers}, for Ahlfors regular sets in metric spaces. We investigate the relation between Carleson-type geometric lemmas for $\iota$-numbers and other concepts related to quantitative rectifiability. We characterize uniform $1$-rectifiability in rather general metric spaces, and uniform $k$-rectfiability in Euclidean spaces, using $\iota$-numbers. The characterization of uniform $1$-rectifiability in the metric setting proceeds by quantifying an isometric embedding theorem due to Menger, and by an abstract argument that allows to pass from a local covering by continua to a global covering by $1$-regular connected sets. The Euclidean result, on the other hand, is a consequence of an abstract statement about approximation by generalized planes, which applies also to the study of low-dimensional sets in Heisenberg groups.

Abstract:Let $\sigma : \mathbb C^d \rightarrow \mathbb C^d$ be an affine-linear involution such that $J_\sigma = -1$ and let $U, V$ be two domains in $\mathbb C^d.$ Let $\phi : U \rightarrow V$ be a $\sigma$-invariant $2$-proper map such that $J_\phi$ is affine-linear and let $\mathscr H(U)$ be a $\sigma$-invariant reproducing kernel Hilbert space of complex-valued holomorphic functions on $U.$ It is shown that the space $\mathscr H_\phi(V):=\{f \in \mathrm{Hol}(V) : J_\phi \cdot f \circ \phi \in \mathscr H(U)\}$ endowed with the norm $\|f\|_\phi :=\|J_\phi \cdot f \circ \phi\|_{\mathscr H(U)}$ is a reproducing kernel Hilbert space and the linear mapping $\varGamma_\phi$ defined by $ \varGamma_\phi(f) = J_\phi \cdot f \circ \phi,$ $f \in \mathrm{Hol}(V),$ is a unitary from $\mathscr H_\phi(V)$ onto $\{f \in \mathscr H(U) : f = -f \circ \sigma\}.$ Moreover, a neat formula for the reproducing kernel $\kappa_{\phi}$ of $\mathscr H_\phi(V)$ in terms of the reproducing kernel of $\mathscr H(U)$ is given. The above scheme is applicable to symmetrized bidisc, tetrablock, $d$-dimensional fat Hartogs triangle and $d$-dimensional egg domain. Although some of these are known, this allows us to obtain an analog of von Neumann's inequality for contractive tuples naturally associated with these domains.

Abstract:We prove two separate lower bounds -- one for nondegenerate convex domains and the other for nondegenerate $\mathbb{C}$-convex (but not necessarily convex) domains -- for the squeezing function that hold true for all domains in $\mathbb{C}^n$, for a fixed $n\geq 2$, of the stated class. We provide explicit expressions in terms of $n$ for these estimates.

Abstract:In this article we study an integral invariant which obstructs the existence on a compact complex manifold of a volume form with the determinant of its Ricci form proportional to itself, in particular obstructs the existence of a Kähler-Einstein metric, and has been studied since 1980s. We study this invariant from the view point of locally conformally Kähler geometry. We first see that we can define an integral invariant for coverings of compact complex manifolds with automorphic volume forms. This situation typically occurs for locally conformally Kähler manifolds. Secondly, we see that this invariant coincides with the former one. We also show that the invariant vanishes for any compact Vaisman manifold.
Relative eta invariant and uniformly positive scalar curvature on non-compact manifolds

Abstract:On complete non-compact manifolds with bounded sectional curvature, we consider a class of self-adjoint Dirac-type operators called Dirac-Schrödinger operators. Assuming two Dirac-Schrödinger operators coincide at infinity, by previous work, one can define their relative eta invariant. A typical example of Dirac-Schrödinger operators is the (twisted) spin Dirac operators on spin manifolds which admit a Riemannian metric of uniformly positive scalar curvature. In this case, using the relative eta invariant, we get a geometric formula for the spectral flow on non-compact manifolds, which induces a new proof of Gromov-Lawson's result about compact area enlargeable manifolds in odd dimensions. When two such spin Dirac operators are the boundary restriction of an operator on a manifold with non-compact boundary, under certain conditions, we obtain an index formula involving the relative eta invariant. This generalizes the Atiyah-Patodi-Singer index theorem to non-compact boundary situation. As a result, we can use the relative eta invariant to study the space of uniformly positive scalar curvature metrics on some non-compact connected sums.

Abstract:In this article, our aim is to estimate the fractal dimensions of the graphs of fractal interpolation functions (FIFs) on the product of two Sierpiński gaskets. To achieve this, we employ the Hölder function spaces. We also define a fractal operator on Hölder spaces originated from the FIFs and establish some operator-theoretic properties such as bounded below and invariant subspaces of it. Additionally, we provide bounds on the Hausdorff dimensions of the invariant measures that are supported on the graphs of these FIFs.

Abstract:In this work, we rst introduce a class of analytic functions involving the Dziok-Srivastava linear operator that generalizes the class of uniformly starlike functions with respect to symmetric points. We then establish the closure of certain well-known integral transforms under this analytic function class. This behaviour leads to various radius results for these integral transforms. Some of the interesting consequences of these results are outlined. Further, the lower bounds for the ratio between the functions f(z) in the class under discussion, their partial sums $f_m(z)$ and the corresponding derivative functions f'(z) and $f^{\prime}_m(z)$ are determined by using the coecient estimates.
The injectivity radius of the compact Stiefel manifold under the Euclidean metric

Abstract:The injectivity radius of a manifold is an important quantity, both from a theoretical point of view and in terms of numerical applications. It is the largest possible radius within which all geodesics are unique and length-minimizing. In consequence, it is the largest possible radius within which calculations in Riemannian normal coordinates are well-defined. A matrix manifold that arises frequently in a wide range of practical applications is the compact Stiefel manifold of orthogonal $p$-frames in $\mathbb{R}^n$. We observe that geodesics on this manifold are space curves of constant Frenet curvatures. Using this fact, we prove that the injectivity radius on the Stiefel manifold under the Euclidean metric is $\pi$.

Abstract:We prove the nontangential asymptotic limits of the Bergman canonical invariant, Ricci and Scalar curvatures of the Bergman metric, as well as the Kobayashi--Fuks metric, at exponentially flat infinite type boundary points of smooth bounded pseudoconvex domains in $\mathbb{C}^{n + 1}, \, n \in \mathbb{N}$. Additionally, we establish the nontangential asymptotic limit of the Kobayashi metric at exponentially flat infinite type boundary points of smooth bounded domains in $\mathbb{C}^{n + 1}, \, n \in \mathbb{N}$. We first show that these objects satisfy appropriate localizations and then utilize the method of scaling to complete the proofs.

Abstract:We suggest a combinatorial classification of metric filtrations in measure spaces; a complete invariant of such a filtration is its combinatorial scheme, a measure on the space of hierarchies of the group~$\mathbb Z$. In turn, the notion of combinatorial scheme is a source of new metric invariants of automorphisms approximated via basic filtrations. We construct a universal graph endowed with an adic structure such that every automorphism can be realized in its path space.

Abstract:Let $ K $ be a compact subset of the $d$-torus invariant under an expanding diagonal endomorphism with $ s $ distinct eigenvalues. Suppose the symbolic coding of $K$ satisfies weak specification. When $ s \leq 2 $, we prove that the following three statements are equivalent: (A) the Hausdorff and box dimensions of $ K $ coincide; (B) with respect to some gauge function, the Hausdorff measure of $ K $ is positive and finite; (C) the Hausdorff dimension of the measure of maximal entropy on $ K $ attains the Hausdorff dimension of $ K $. When $ s \geq 3 $, we find some examples in which (A) does not hold but (C) holds, which is a new phenomenon not appearing in the planar cases. Through a different probabilistic approach, we establish the equivalence of (A) and (B) for Bedford-McMullen sponges.

Invariant weighted Bergman metrics on domains

Abstract:In this paper, we study the cases when the weighted Bergman metrics of a domain are invariant under biholomorphisms by introducing the concept of {\it invariant weight assignments}, focusing on two examples by Tian and Tsuji, respectively. Using Bergman's minimum integral method and a domain version of the Tian-Yau-Zelditch expansion for the weighted Bergman kernels and metrics, we give an alternative proof of uniform convergence of Tian's sequence of Bergman kernels and metrics on uniform squeezing domains. We also present a proof of the uniform convergence of Tsuji's dynamical kernel sequence on uniform squeezing domains.
