Abstract:In this study, we construct a theoretical framework based on the generalized Hubble parameter form which may arise within the particle creation, viscous and $f(R)$ gravity theory. The Hubble parameter is scrutinized for its compatibility with the observational data relevant to the late-time universe. By using Bayesian statistical techniques based on $\chi^{2}$ minimization method, we determine model parameters's best fit values for the cosmic chronometer and supernovae Pantheon datasets. For the best fit values, the cosmographic and physical parameters are analyzed to understand the cosmic dynamics in model.
General Relativity and Quantum Cosmology
What problem does this paper attempt to address?
This paper attempts to solve the problem of the accelerated expansion of the universe in cosmology. Specifically, it explores the construction of a generalized ΛCDM model in the framework of particle creation, bulk viscosity and \( f(R) \) gravity theory by introducing a parameterized Hubble parameter (Hubble parameter) to explain the current accelerated expansion of the universe. ### Problem Background 1. **Accelerated Expansion of the Universe** - Observational data indicate that the universe is expanding at an accelerated rate [1 - 3]. - This accelerated expansion is usually attributed to so - called "dark energy" [4]. - However, although the standard ΛCDM model agrees well with the observational data, it faces the coincidence problem and the fine - tuning problem [4]. 2. **Limitations of Existing Models** - The standard ΛCDM model cannot fully explain the mechanism of the accelerated expansion of the universe. - Therefore, researchers have proposed various alternative or improved gravity theories, such as \( f(R) \) gravity theory [6 - 10], viscous fluid models, etc., in the hope of better explaining the evolutionary history of the universe. ### Core Problems of the Paper The paper aims to explore the applicability and physical significance of introducing a parameterized Hubble parameter in the following three frameworks: 1. **Particle Creation Model** - Explore the impact of the particle creation mechanism on the accelerated expansion of the universe [11 - 15]. - Use the parameterized Hubble parameter to describe the cosmic dynamics during the particle creation process. 2. **Bulk Viscosity Model** - Study the impact of the bulk viscosity effect on the expansion of the universe [27 - 32]. - By introducing the bulk viscosity coefficient, explore its contribution to the early and late expansion stages of the universe. 3. **\( f(R) \) Gravity Theory Model** - On the basis of general relativity, replace the Ricci scalar \( R \) with a generalized function \( f(R) \) to describe the expansion history of the universe [47, 48]. - Explore whether this modified gravity theory can better explain the accelerated expansion of the universe. ### Methods and Verification To verify the validity of the proposed parameterized Hubble parameter, the author uses Bayesian statistical techniques and the minimized χ² method, combined with the cosmic chronometer and the Pantheon supernova data set, to determine the best - fit values of the model parameters. Through these data, the author analyzes the dynamic behavior of the universe, including the evolution of the deceleration parameter \( q \) and the effective equation - of - state parameter \( \omega_{\text{eff}} \). ### Conclusions Research shows that the parameterized Hubble parameter can provide reasonable cosmological solutions in the frameworks of particle creation, bulk viscosity and \( f(R) \) gravity theory, and has good consistency with the existing observational data. This provides a new perspective and method for understanding the accelerated expansion of the universe. ### Mathematical Formulas 1. The form of the parameterized Hubble parameter: \[ H(a)=H_0\frac{r^m}{a^{n + 1 - m}} \] where \( H_0 \) is the current value of the Hubble parameter, and \( m \) and \( n \) are arbitrary constants. 2. The definition of the deceleration parameter \( q \): \[ q=-1+\frac{mn(1 + z)^n}{2[m(1 + z)^n+1 - m]} \] 3. The field equation in \( f(R) \) gravity theory: \[ f'(R)R_{\mu\nu}-\frac{f(R)}{2}g_{\mu\nu}-(\nabla_\mu\nabla_\nu - g_{\mu\nu}\Box)f'(R)=T_{\mu\nu} \] Through these formulas and analyses, the paper shows how to explain the phenomenon of the accelerated expansion of the universe within a broader theoretical framework.
