Abstract:Hyre-Ulam stability of functional equation in single variable is studied in non-triangular metric spaces. We derive it as applications of some fixed point results developed on the said structure. A general version of Baker's theorem is also deduced as a consequence.

Abstract:A new class of cubic and quartic mixed functional equations was presented and its general solution in vector space was obtained.Combined with the definition of difference operator,the generalized Hyers-Ulam-Rassias stability of the mixed functional equation on Banach space was proved by direct method.

Abstract:In this paper we investigate Hyers-Ulam-Rassias stability of certain nonlinear functional equations. Considerations of such stabilities in different branches of mathematics have been very extensive. Again the fuzzy concepts along with their several extensions have appeared in almost all branches of mathematics. Here we work on intuitionistic fuzzy real Banach spaces, which is obtained by combining together the concepts of fuzzy Banach spaces with intuitionistic fuzzy sets. We establish that pexiderized quadratic functional equations defined on such spaces are stable in the sense of Hyers-Ulam-Rassias stability. We adopt a fixed point approach to the problem. Precisely, we use a generxalized contraction mapping principle. The result is illustrated with an example.

Abstract:In this paper, some remarks on the paper (Ciepliński in Bull Malays Math Sci Soc 46:62, 2023) are provided. The main results of the manuscript enhance those presented by Ciepliński. We establish the Hyers–Ulam stability and hyperstability under various conditions, addressing open problems posed by Ciepliński. Our results, provide broader and more general results compared to previous findings.

Abstract:By adopting the direct method and fixed point method, we prove that the Hyers-Ulam stability of the following additive-quadratic functional equation \begin{equation} f(x+y, z+w)+f(x-y, z-w)-2 f(x, z)-2 f(x, w)=0 \end{equation} in $\beta$-homogeneous $F$-spaces and quasi-Banach spaces. There are some differences that we consider the target space with the $\beta$-homogeneous norm and quasi-norm. Overcoming the $\beta$-homogeneous norm and quasi-norm bottlenecks, we get some new results.

Abstract:This study presents two novel frameworks, termed a quasi-modular b-metric space and a non-Archimedean quasi-modular b-metric space, and various topological properties are provided. Using comparison and simulation functions, this paper rigorously proves several fixed point theorems in the non-Archimedean quasi-modular b-metric space. As a useful application, it also establishes Ulam–Hyers stability for the fixed point problem. Finally, this study concludes with a unique solution to a non-linear fractional differential equation, making a substantial contribution to the discipline.

Abstract:The purpose of this paper is to present some common fixed point results for two quasi-contraction operators in complete metric space which provide a positive answer to the question of Mihiţ, Moţ and Petruşel [16], concerning common fixed point results. Here we have established the existence and uniqueness of the common fixed point results to apply in stability analysis. More precisely, we will also see under which conditions the common fixed point problem satisfies well-posedness, Ulam-Hyers stability, and Ostrowski’s property. Illustrative examples and an application are given to support the obtained results, which extend some of the theorems in the recent literature.

Abstract:This paper presents the stability theorem for the $ T $-Picard iteration scheme and establishes the existence and uniqueness theorem for fixed points concerning $ T $-mean nonexpansive mappings within $ b $-metric-like spaces. The outcome of our fixed point theorem substantiated the existence and uniqueness of solutions to the Fredholm-Hammerstein integral equations defined on time scales. Additionally, we provided two numerical examples from distinct time scales to support our findings empirically.

Employing both the direct and fixed-point methods, we investigate the orthogonal stability of this equation within the frameworks of quasi-β-Banach spaces and multi-Banach spaces. Additionally, the study explores the stability of the equation in various extended Banach spaces and provides a specific example illustrating the absence of stability in certain cases.
