Abstract:We study the smoothing estimate for the heat semigroup which is related to the nonlinear term of the Hardy-Hénon parabolic equation on Morrey spaces. This result is improvement of \cite[Proposition 3.3]{Tayachi20}, which is proved by using weak Lebesgue and Lorentz spaces.

Abstract:We prove several functional and geometric inequalities only assuming the linearity and a quantitative $\mathrm{L}^\infty$-to-Lipschitz smoothing of the heat semigroup in metric-measure spaces. Our results comprise a Buser inequality, a lower bound on the size of the nodal set of a Laplacian eigenfunction, and different estimates involving the Wasserstein distance. The approach works in large variety settings, including Riemannian manifolds with a variable Kato-type lower bound on the Ricci curvature tensor, $\mathsf{RCD}(K,\infty)$ spaces, and some sub-Riemannian structures, such as Carnot groups, the Grushin plane and the $\mathbb{SU}(2)$ group.

Abstract:In this article, we provide two-weight inequalities for the heat flow on the whole space by applying the sparse domination. For power weights, such inequalities were given by several authors. Owing to the sparse domination, we can treat general weights in Muckenhoupt classes. As a application, we present the local and global existence results for the Hardy-Hénon parabolic equation, which has a potential belonging to a Muckenhoupt class.

Abstract:For a certain class of radial weights, we prove weighted norm estimates for commutators with BMO coefficients of singular operators in local generalized Morrey spaces. As a consequence of these estimates, we obtain norm inequalities for such commutators in the generalized Stummel-Morrey spaces. We also discuss a.e. well-posedness of singular operators and their commutators on weighted generalized Morrey spaces. The obtained estimates are applied to prove interior regularity for solutions of elliptic PDEs in the frameworks of the corresponding weighted Sobolev spaces based on the local generalized Morrey spaces or Stummel-Morrey spaces. To this end also conditions for the applicability of the representation formula, for the second-order derivatives of solutions to elliptic PDEs, are found for the case of such weighted spaces. In both results, for commutators and applications, we admit weights beyond the Muckenhoupt range.

Abstract:We show local smoothing estimates in $L^p$-spaces for solutions to the Hermite wave equation. For this purpose, we obtain a parametrix given by a Fourier Integral Operator, which we linearize. This leads us to analyze local smoothing estimates for solutions to Klein-Gordon equations. We show $\ell^2$-decoupling estimates adapted to the mass parameter to obtain local smoothing with essentially sharp derivative loss. In one dimension as consequence of square function estimates, we obtain estimates sharp up to endpoints. Finally, we elaborate on the implications of local smoothing estimates for Hermite Bochner--Riesz means.

Abstract:We prove up to the boundary regularity estimates in Morrey-Lorentz spaces for weak solutions of the linear system of differential forms with regular anisotropic coefficients with either and or and prescribed on We derive these estimates from the estimates obtained in [32] in the spirit of Campanato's method. Unlike Lorentz spaces, Morrey spaces are neither interpolation spaces nor rearrangement invariant. So, Morrey estimates can not be obtained directly from the estimates using interpolation. We instead adapt an idea of Lieberman [19] to our setting to derive the estimates. Applications to Hodge decomposition in Morrey-Lorentz spaces, Gaffney type inequalities, and estimates for related systems such as Hodge-Maxwell systems and 'div-curl' systems are discussed.

Abstract:We establish global bounds for solutions to stationary and time-dependent Schrödinger equations associated with the sublaplacian $\mathcal L$ on the Heisenberg group, as well as its pure fractional power $\mathcal L^s$ and conformally invariant fractional power $\mathcal L_s$. The main ingredient is a new abstract uniform weighted resolvent estimate which is proved by using the method of weakly conjugate operators -- a variant of Mourre's commutator method -- and Hardy's type inequalities on the Heisenberg group. As applications, we show Kato-type smoothing effects for the time-dependent Schrödinger equation, and spectral stability of the sublaplacian perturbed by complex-valued decaying potentials satisfying an explicit subordination condition. In the local case $s=1$, we obtain uniform estimates without any symmetry or derivative loss, which improve previous results.

Abstract:A class of stochastic Besov spaces , 1 ⩽ p ⩽ ∞ and α ∈ [−2, 2], is introduced to characterize the regularity of the noise in the semilinear stochastic heat equation under the following conditions for some α ∈ (0,1] The conditions above are shown to be satisfied by both trace-class noises (with α =1) and one-dimensional space-time white noises (with ). The latter would fail to satisfy the conditions with if the stochastic Besov norm is replaced by the classical Sobolev norm , and this often causes reduction of the convergence order in the numerical analysis of the semilinear stochastic heat equation. In this paper, the convergence of a modified exponential Euler method, with a spectral method for spatial discretization, is proved to have order α in both the time and space for possibly nonsmooth initial data in with β > −1, by utilizing the real interpolation properties of the stochastic Besov spaces and a class of locally refined stepsizes to resolve the singularity of the solution at t =0.

Abstract:We study the problems of uniqueness for Hardy-Hénon parabolic equations, which are semilinear heat equations with the singular potential (Hardy type) or the increasing potential (Hénon type) in the nonlinear term. To deal with the Hardy-Hénon type nonlinearities, we employ weighted Lorentz spaces as solution spaces. We prove unconditional uniqueness and non-uniqueness, and we establish uniqueness criterion for Hardy-Hénon parabolic equations in the weighted Lorentz spaces. The results extend the previous works on the Fujita equation and Hardy equations in Lebesgue spaces.

Abstract:We establish partial smoothing properties of the transition semigroup associated to the linear stochastic wave equation driven by a cylindrical Wiener noise on a separable Hilbert space. These new results allow the study of related vector-valued infinite-dimensional PDEs in spaces of functions which are Hölder continuous along special directions. As an application we prove strong uniqueness for semilinear stochastic wave equations involving nonlinearities of Hölder type. We stress that we are able to prove well-posedness although the Markov semigroup is not strong Feller.

Abstract:We study integral kernels of strongly continuous semigroups on Lebesgue spaces over metric measure spaces. Based on semigroup smoothing properties and abstract Morrey-type inequalities, we give sufficient conditions for Hölder or Lipschitz continuity of the kernels. We apply our results to (pseudo)differential operators on domains and quantum graphs, to Laplacians on a class of fractals including the Sierpiński gasket, and to structurally damped wave equations. An extension to non-autonomous problems is also discussed.

Abstract:We give a simple argument to obtain $\mathrm{L}^p$-boundedness for heat semigroups associated to uniformly strongly elliptic systems on $\mathbb{R}^d$ by using Stein interpolation between Gaussian estimates and hypercontractivity. Our results give $p$ explicitly in terms of ellipticity. It is optimal at the endpoint $p=\infty$. We also obtain $\mathrm{L}^p$-estimates for the gradient of the semigroup, where $p>2$ depends on ellipticity but not on dimension.

Abstract:In this paper we investigate the boundedness of sublinear operators generated by fractional integrals as well as sublinear operators generated by Calderòn-Zygmund operators on generalized weighted Morrey spaces and generalized weighted mixed-Morrey spaces. In particular we are interested in the strong-type estimate for $1<p<\infty$ and the weak estimate for $p=1$. Under some assumptions, we prove that the operators and their commutator with a BMO function are bounded on those function spaces with different weights. The results then imply the boundedness of fractional integrals with Gaussian kernel bounds as well as with rough kernels, fractional maximal integrals with rough kernels, and sublinear operators with rough kernels generated by Calderòn-Zygmund operators. Using the results, we obtain some regularity properties of the solution of some partial differential equations.

Abstract:We study Cauchy problem for the Hardy-Hénon parabolic equation with an inverse square potential, namely, \[\partial_tu -\Delta u+a|x|^{-2} u= |x|^{\gamma} F_{\alpha}(u),\] where $a\ge-(\frac{d-2}{2})^2,$ $\gamma\in \mathbb R$, $\alpha>1$ and $F_{\alpha}(u)=\mu |u|^{\alpha-1}u, \mu|u|^\alpha$ or $\mu u^\alpha$, $\mu\in \{-1,0,1\}$. We establish sharp fixed time-time decay estimates for heat semigroups $e^{-t (-\Delta + a|x|^{-2})}$ in weighted Lebesgue spaces, which is of independent interest. As an application, we establish: $\bullet$ Local well-posedness (LWP) in scale subcritical and critical weighted Lebesgue spaces. $\bullet$ Small data global existence in critical weighted Lebesgue spaces. $\bullet$ Under certain conditions on $\gamma$ and $\alpha,$ we show that local solution cannot be extended to global one for certain initial data in the subcritical regime. Thus, finite time blow-up in the subcritical Lebesgue space norm is exhibited. $\bullet$ We also demonstrate nonexistence of local positive weak solution (and hence failure of LWP) in supercritical case for $\alpha>1+\frac{2+\gamma}{d}$ the Fujita exponent. This indicates that subcriticality or criticality are necessary in the first point above. In summary, we establish a sharp dissipative estimate and addresses short and long time behaviors of solutions. In particular, we complement several classical results and shed new light on the dynamics of the considered equation.

Abstract:In this paper we prove some Hamilton type and Li-Yau type gradient estimates on positive solutions to generalized nonlinear parabolic equations on smooth metric measure space with compact boundary. The geometry of the space in terms of lower bounds on the weighted Bakry-Emery Ricci curvature tensor and weighted mean curvature of the boundary are key in proving generalized local and global gradient estimates. Various applications of these gradient estimates in terms of parabolic Harnack inequalities and Liouville type results are discussed. Abstract:We establish lower norm bounds for multivariate functions within weighted Lebesgue spaces, characterized by a summation of functions whose components solve a system of nonlinear integral equations. This problem originates in portfolio selection theory, where these equations allow to identify mean-variance optimal portfolios, composed of standard European Options on several underlying assets. We elaborate on the Smirnov property-an integrability condition for the weights that guarantees the uniqueness of solutions to the system.
