Abstract:In this article, we obtain certain estimates for the Taylor coefficients of $(K,K')$-elliptic harmonic mappings and using these estimates, we prove a Landau-type theorem for these mappings. We also derive Bloch constant for the class of $(K, K')$-elliptic harmonic mappings.

Abstract:In this paper, we first establish two versions of Landau-Bloch type theorem for $(K,K')$-elliptic harmonic mappings with a bounded minimum distortion. Next, we provide several coefficient estimates and a conjecture for $(K,K')$-elliptic harmonic mappings. Then, we establish three new versions of Landau-Bloch type theorem for sense-preserving harmonic mappings. Finally, we establish two sharp versions of Landau-Bloch type theorem for certain harmonic mappings. These results are sharp in some given cases and improve the related results of different authors.

Furthermore, we establish the Landau's theorem and coefficient estimates for the harmonic α -Bloch space BH,Ωγ(α) on the shifted disk Ωγ , where Ωγ:={z∈C:|z+γ1−γ|<11−γ} and 0≤γ<1 .

Abstract:In this paper, we first prove the strong Birkhoff Ergodic Theorem for subharmonic functions with the irrational shift on the Torus. Then, we apply it to the analytic quasi-periodic Jacobi cocycles and show that for suitable frequency and coupling number, if the Lyapunov exponent of these cocycles is positive at one point, then it is positive on an interval centered at this point and Hölder continuous in \begin{document}$ E $\end{document} on this interval. What's more, if the coupling number of the potential is large, then the Lyapunov exponent is always positive for all irrational frequencies and Hölder continuous in \begin{document}$ E $\end{document} for all finite Liouville frequencies. For the Schrödinger cocycles, a special case of the Jacobi ones, its Lyapunov exponent is also Hölder continuous in the frequency and the lengths of the intervals where the Hölder condition of the Lyapunov exponent holds only depend on the coupling number.

Abstract:Let $f(z)=h(z)+\overline{g(z)}$ be a harmonic mapping of the unit disk $U$. In this paper, the sharp coefficient estimates for bounded planar harmonic mappings are established, the sharp coefficient estimates for normalized planar harmonic mappings with $|h(z)|+|g(z)|\leq M$ are also provided. As their applications, Landau's theorems for certain biharmonic mappings are provided, which improve and refine the related results of earlier authors.

Abstract:We revisit the classical theory of linear second-order uniformly elliptic equations in divergence form whose solutions have Hölder continuous gradients, and prove versions of the generalized maximum principle, the $C^{1,\alpha}$-estimate, the Hopf-Oleinik lemma, the boundary weak Harnack inequality and the differential Harnack inequality, in which the constant is optimized with respect to the norms of the coefficients of the operator and the size of the domain. Our estimates are complemented by counterexamples which show their optimality. We also give applications to the Landis conjecture and spectral estimates.

Abstract:The classical Bohr theorem and its subsequent generalizations have become active areas of research, with investigations conducted in numerous function spaces. Let $\{\psi_n(r)\}_{n=0}^\infty$ be a sequence of non-negative continuous functions defined on $[0,1)$ such that the series $\sum_{n=0}^\infty \psi_n(r)$ converges locally uniformly on the interval $[0, 1)$. The main objective of this paper is to establish several sharp versions of generalized Bohr inequalities for the class of $K$-quasiconformal sense-preserving harmonic mappings on the unit disk $\D := \{z \in \mathbb{C} : |z| < 1\}$. To achieve these, we employ the sequence of functions $\{\psi_n(r)\}_{n=0}^\infty$ in the majorant series rather than the conventional dependence on the basis sequence $\{r^n\}_{n=0}^\infty$. As applications, we derive a number of previously published results as well as a number of sharply improved and refined Bohr inequalities for harmonic mappings in $\D$. Moreover, we obtain a convolution counterpart of the Bohr theorem for harmonic mapping within the context of the Gaussian hypergeometric function

Abstract:We extend the De Giorgi--Nash--Moser theory to a class of kinetic Fokker-Planck equations and deduce new results on the Landau-Coulomb equation. More precisely, we first study the H{ö}lder regularity and establish a Harnack inequality for solutions to a general linear equation of Fokker-Planck type whose coefficients are merely measurable and essentially bounded, i.e. assuming no regularity on the coefficients in order to later derive results for non-linear problems. This general equation has the formal structure of the hypoelliptic equations "of type II" , sometimes also called ultraparabolic equations of Kolmogorov type, but with rough coefficients: it combines a first-order skew-symmetric operator with a second-order elliptic operator involving derivatives along only part of the coordinates and with rough coefficients. These general results are then applied to the non-negative essentially bounded weak solutions of the Landau equation with inverse-power law $\gamma$ $\in$ [--d, 1] whose mass, energy and entropy density are bounded and mass is bounded away from 0, and we deduce the H{ö}lder regularity of these solutions.

Math. Bull. 67(1): 2024, 152-165]. Further, we prove three bi-Lipschitz theorems for these subclasses of poly-analytic functions.

Abstract:We give partial affirmative answers to Landis conjecture in all dimensions for two different types of linear, second order, elliptic operators in a domain $\Omega\subset \mathbb{R}^N$. In particular, we provide a sharp decay criterion that ensures when a solution of a nonnegative Schrödinger equation in $\mathbb{R}^N$ with a potential $V\leq 1$ is trivial. Moreover, we address the analogue of Landis conjecture for quasilinear problems. Our approach relies on the application of Liouville comparison principles and criticality theory.

Abstract:The problem on estimate of the Koebe radius for univalent harmonic mappings of the unit disk $\mathbb D=\{z\in\mathbb C : |z|<1\}$ is considered. For a subclass of harmonic mappings with the standard normalization and a certain growth estimate for analytic dilatation, we provide new estimate for the Koebe radius. New estimate for Taylor coefficients of the holomorphic part of a function from the subclass under consideration is obtained as a corollary.

Abstract: This paper is devoted to various applications of Hardy-Sobolev type inequalities. We derive a new $L^2$ estimate for the $\bar{\partial}-$equation on ${\mathbb C}^n$ which yields a quantitative generalization of the Hartogs extension theorem to the case when the singularity set is not necessary compact. We show that for any negative subharmonic function $\psi$ on ${\mathbb R}^n$, $n>2$, the BMO norm of $\log |\psi|$ is bounded above by $2\sqrt{n-2}$ and $|\psi|^\gamma$ satisfies a reverse H\"older inequality for every $0<\gamma<1$. We also show that every plurisubharmonic function is locally BMO. Several Liouville theorems for subharmonic functions on complete Riemannian manifolds are given. As a consequence, we get a Margulis type theorem that if a bounded domain in ${\mathbb C}^n$ covers a Zariski open set in a projective algebraic variety, then the group of deck transformations of the covering has trivial center.

Abstract:We study analytic properties of harmonic maps from Riemannian polyhedra into CAT($\kappa$) spaces for $\kappa\in\{0,1\}$. Locally, on each top-dimensional face of the domain, this amounts to studying harmonic maps from smooth domains into CAT($\kappa$) spaces. We compute a target variation formula that captures the curvature bound in the target, and use it to prove an $L^p$ Liouville-type theorem for harmonic maps from admissible polyhedra into convex CAT($\kappa$) spaces. Another consequence we derive from the target variation formula is the Eells-Sampson Bochner formula for CAT(1) targets.

Abstract:The primary objective of this paper is to establish several sharp versions of improved Bohr inequality, refined Bohr-type inequality, and refined Bohr-Rogosinski inequality for the class of $K$-quasiconformal sense-preserving harmonic mappings $f=h+\overline{g}$ in the unit disk $\mathbb{D} := \{z\in\mathbb{C} : |z| < 1\}$. In order to achieve these objectives, we employ the non-negative quantity $S_\rho(h)$ and the concept of replacing the initial coefficients of the majorant series by the absolute values of the analytic function and its derivative, as well as other various settings. Moreover, we obtain the sharp Bohr-Rogosinski radius for harmonic mappings in the unit disk by replacing the bounding condition on the analytic function $h$ with the half-plane condition.

Abstract:Given an elliptic operator $L= - \mathrm{div} (A \nabla \cdot)$ subject to mixed boundary conditions on an open subset of $\mathbb{R}^d$, we study the relation between Gaussian pointwise estimates for the kernel of the associated heat semigroup, Hölder continuity of $L$-harmonic functions and the growth of the Dirichlet energy. To this end, we generalize an equivalence theorem of Auscher and Tchamitchian to the case of mixed boundary conditions and to open sets far beyond Lipschitz domains. Yet we prove consistency of our abstract result by encompassing operators with real-valued coefficients and their small complex perturbations into one of the aforementioned equivalent properties. The resulting kernel bounds open the door for developing a harmonic analysis for the associated semigroups on rough open sets.

Abstract:In this paper, we investigate holomorphic mappings $F$ on the unit ball $\mathbb{B}$ of a complex Banach space of the form $F(x)=f(x)x$, where $f$ is a holomorphic function on $\mathbb{B}$. First, we investigate criteria for univalence, starlikeness and quasi-convexity of type $B$ on $\mathbb{B}$. Next, we investigate a generalized Bieberbach conjecture, a covering theorem and a distortion theorem, the Fekete-Szegö inequality, lower bound for the Bloch constant, and Alexander's type theorem for such mappings.

Abstract:The Bloch--Torrey operator $-h^2\Delta+e^{i\alpha}x_1$ on a bounded smooth planar domain, subject to Dirichlet boundary conditions, is analyzed. Assuming $\alpha\in\left[0,\frac{3\pi}{5}\right)$ and a non-degeneracy assumption on the left-hand side of the domain, asymptotics of the eigenvalues with the smallest real part in the limit $h \to 0$ are derived. The strategy is a backward complex scaling and the reduction to a tensorized operator involving a real Airy operator and a complex harmonic oscillator.
