Abstract:In this manuscript, we investigate the behavior of stellar structure through embedding approach in $f(R, \phi, X)$ modified theory of gravity, where $R$ denotes the Ricci scalar, $\phi$ represents the scalar potential and $X$ indicates the kinetic potential. For this purpose, we consider the spherically symmetric space-time with anisotropic fluid. We further choose three different stars i.e. LMC X-4, Cen X-3, and EXO 1785-248 to demonstrate the behavior of stellar structures. We further compare the Schwarzschild space-time as exterior geometry with spherically symmetric space-time to calculate the values of unknown parameters. In this regard, we investigate the graphical features of stellar spheres such es energy density, pressure components, anisotropic component, equation of state parameters, stability analysis and energy conditions. Furthermore, we investigate some extra conditions such as mass function, compactness factor and surface redshift respectively. Conclusively, all the compact stars under observations are realistic, stable, and are free from any physical or geometrical singularities. We find that the embedding class one solution for anisotropic compact stars is viable and stable.
General Relativity and Quantum Cosmology
What problem does this paper attempt to address?
The problem that this paper attempts to solve is to study the behavior of anisotropic spheres (i.e., compact stars) through the embedding method within the framework of the \(f(R,\phi,X)\) gravitational theory. Specifically, the authors consider anisotropic fluids in spherically symmetric spacetimes and select three different stars (LMC X - 4, Cen X - 3, and EXO 1785 - 248) to show the behavior of star structures. They further set the external geometry as the Schwarzschild spacetime to calculate the values of unknown parameters. In the study, the authors explore the graphical characteristics of energy density, pressure components, anisotropic components, equation - of - state parameters, stability analysis, and energy conditions, as well as additional conditions such as mass functions, compactness factors, and surface redshifts. ### Main Objectives: 1. **Study the behavior of anisotropic compact stars in the \(f(R,\phi,X)\) gravitational theory**: Through the embedding method, explore the physical properties and stability of these stars. 2. **Verify the feasibility of the model**: By comparing with observational data, verify whether the proposed \(f(R,\phi,X)\) model can reasonably describe the properties of compact stars. 3. **Explore the applicability of the embedding class - one solution**: Study the applicability and stability of the embedding class - one solution in the \(f(R,\phi,X)\) gravitational theory. ### Research Methods: - **Embedding method**: Use the Karmarkar condition and the Eishenhart condition to find spherically symmetric solutions of the embedding class - one. - **Numerical simulation**: Calculate physical quantities such as energy density, pressure components, and anisotropic components under different parameters by numerical methods. - **Matching condition**: Match the internal solution with the external Schwarzschild spacetime to determine the unknown parameters. ### Research Objects: - **Three specific stars**: LMC X - 4, Cen X - 3, and EXO 1785 - 248. The masses and radii of these stars have been determined through observational data. ### Key Results: - **Energy density and pressure distribution**: The energy density is maximum at the center of the star and gradually decreases outward; the radial pressure is maximum at the center and disappears at the boundary; the tangential pressure is also positive and decreases as the radius increases. - **Anisotropic behavior**: The anisotropic component \(\Delta\) is positive, indicating the existence of an outward anisotropic force, and is zero at the center of the star. - **Equation - of - state parameters**: The radial and tangential equation - of - state parameters \((EoS)_r\) and \((EoS)_t\) are both within a reasonable range, indicating that the model is in line with physical expectations. - **Stability analysis**: Through the tests of various physical conditions, it is confirmed that the studied compact stars are stable and free of physical or geometric singularities. In conclusion, this paper, through the \(f(R,\phi,X)\) gravitational theory and the embedding method, has explored in detail the physical properties and stability of compact stars, providing a new perspective for understanding the behavior of compact stars.
