Abstract:In this paper, we investigate a class of planar Schrödinger-Poisson systems with critical exponential growth. We establish conditions for the local well-posedness of the Cauchy problem in the energy space, which seems innovative as it was not discussed at all in any previous results. By introducing some new ideas and relaxing some of the classical growth assumptions on the nonlinearity, we show that such system has at least two standing waves with prescribed mass, where one is a ground state standing waves with positive energy, and the other one is a high-energy standing waves with positive energy. In addition, with the help of the local well-posedness, we show that the set of ground state standing waves is orbitally stable.

Abstract:We are concerned with the following nonlinear Schrödinger equation \begin{eqnarray*} \begin{aligned} \begin{cases} -\Delta u+\lambda u=f(u) \ \ {\rm in}\ \mathbb{R}^{2},\\ u\in H^{1}(\mathbb{R}^{2}),~~~ \int_{\mathbb{R}^2}u^2dx=\rho, \end{cases} \end{aligned} \end{eqnarray*} where $\rho>0$ is given, $\lambda\in\mathbb{R}$ arises as a Lagrange multiplier and $f$ satisfies an exponential critical growth. Without assuming the Ambrosetti-Rabinowitz condition, we show the existence of normalized ground state solutions for any $\rho>0$. The proof is based on a constrained minimization method and the Trudinger-Moser inequality in $\mathbb{R}^2$.

Abstract:We study a class of Schrödinger-Kirchhoff system involving critical exponent. We aim to find suitable conditions to assure the existence of a positive ground state solution of Nehari-Pohouzaev type $u_{\varepsilon}$ with exponential decay at infinity for $\varepsilon$ and $ u_{\varepsilon}$ concentrates around a global minimum point of $ V$ as $ \varepsilon\rightarrow0^{+}.$ The nonlinear term includes the nonlinearity $f(u)\sim|u|^{p-1}u$ for the well-studied case $ p\in[3,5)$, and the less-studied case $p\in(2,3)$.

Abstract:The purpose of this paper is three-fold. First, we establish singular Trudinger–Moser inequalities with less restrictive constraint: where 0 < β < 2 , V ( x ) ≥ 0 and may vanish on an open set in R 2 . Second, we consider the existence of ground states to the following Schrödinger equations with critical exponential growth in R 2 : where the nonlinearity f has the critical exponential growth. In order to overcome the lack of compactness, we develop a method which is based on the threshold of the least energy, an embedding theorem introduced in (C. Zhang and L. Chen, "Concentration-compactness principle of singular Trudinger-Moser inequalities in R n and n -Laplace equations," Adv. Nonlinear Stud. , vol. 18, no. 3, pp. 567–585, 2018) and the Nehari manifold to get the existence of ground states. Abstract:We consider a class of noncooperative Schr\"{o}dinger-Kirchhoff type system which involves a general variable exponent elliptic operator with critical growth. Under certain suitable conditions on the nonlinearities, we establish the existence of infinitely many solutions for the problem by using the limit index theory, a version of concentration-compactness principle for weighted-variable exponents Sobolev spaces and the principle of symmetric criticality of Krawcewicz and Marzantowicz.

In particular, if p=2⁎−1, the system has no nontrivial solutions. Some further properties of the ground state solutions are also studied. This seems to be the first result for such a critical Schrödinger system.

We consider the existence and asymptotic behavior on mass of positive solutions to the following system −Δu + λ1u = μ1u3 + α1|u|p−2u + βv2u in R4, −Δv + λ2v = μ2v3 + α2|v|p−2v + βu2v in R4, under the normalized mass constraints ∫R4u2 = a21 and ∫R4v2 = a22, where a1, a2 are prescribed, μ1, μ2, β > 0, α1, α2 ∈ R, p ∈ (2, 4) and λ1, λ2 ∈ R appear as Lagrange multipliers. Firstly, we establish a non-existence result for the repulsive interaction case, i.e., αi < 0(i = 1, 2). Then turning to the case of αi > 0(i = 1, 2), if 2 < p < 3, we show that the problem admits a ground state and an excited state. Moreover, we give a precise asymptotic behavior of these two solutions as (a1, a2) → (0, 0) and a1 ~ a2. This seems to be the first contribution regarding the multiplicity as well as synchronized mass collapse behavior of normalized solutions to Schrödinger systems with Sobolev critical exponent. When 3 ≤ p < 4, we prove an existence as well as a non-existence (p = 3) results of ground states. Abstract:We consider the following two coupled nonlinear Schrödinger system: <math>−Δu+u=f1(x,u)+λ(x)v,x∈ℝ2,−Δv+v=f2(x,v)+λ(x)u,x∈ℝ2,</math>where the coupling parameter satisfies 0 < λ(x) ≤ λ0 < 1 and the reactions f1, f2 have critical exponential growth in the sense of Trudinger–Moser inequality. Using non‐Nehari manifold method together with the Lions's concentration compactness and the Trudinger‐Moser inequality, we show that the above system has a Nehari‐type ground state solution and a nontrivial solution. Our results improve and extend the previous results.

Abstract:In this paper we are concerned with normalized solutions to the Schrödinger-Poisson system with doubly critical growth and prescribed mass where is a constant, is a parameter and . In the -subcritical case, we study the multiplicity of normalized solutions by applying the truncation technique, and the genus theory; and in the -supercritical case, we obtain a couple of normalized solutions by developing a fiber map. Under both cases, to recover the loss of compactness of the energy functional caused by the critical growth, we need to adopt the concentration-compactness principle. Our results complement and improve some related studies for the Schrödinger-Poisson system with nonlocal critical term in the literature.

We obtain the existence of ground state normalized solutions under general assumptions, and here stands for a Lagrange multiplier. Our theorems extend the results of Alves, Ji and Miyagaki (Calc Var 61:18, 2022) and Chang, Liu and Yan (J Geom Anal 33:83, 2023), where f satisfies a strong global assumption. In particular, some new estimates and approaches are introduced to overcome the lack of compactness resulting from the critical growth of f ( u ).

Abstract:In this paper we investigate a class of logarithmic Schrödinger–Poisson system with critical growth which are from physically relevant backgrounds. Under suitable assumptions on the potential V ( x ), we obtain the existence of ground state solution for sufficiently small via using a constrained minimization on a Nehari manifold and some new techniques.
