Abstract:In this paper we introduce two general identities relating Eisenstein series on split classical groups, as well as double covers of symplectic groups. The first identity can be viewed as an extension of the doubling construction introduced in [CFGK17]. The second identity is a generalization of the descent construction studied in [GRS11].

Abstract:We present a new method to construct integration-by-part (IBP) identities from the viewpoint of differential geometry. Vectors for generating IBP identities are reformulated as differential forms, via Poincaré duality. Using the tools of differential geometry and commutative algebra, we can efficiently find differential forms which generate on-shell IBP relation without doubled propagator. Various $D=4$ two-loop examples are presented.

Abstract:The author presents an alternate proof of the Bismut-Zhang localization formula of ηinvariants, when the target manifold is a sphere, by using ideas of mod k index theory instead of the difficult analytic localization techniques of Bismut-Lebeau. As a consequence, it is shown that the R/Z part of the analytically defined ηinvariant of Atiyah-Patodi-Singer for a Dirac operator on an odd dimensional closed spin manifold can be expressed purely geometrically through a stable Chern-Simons current on a higher dimensional sphere. As a preliminary application, the author discusses the relation with the Atiyah-Patodi-Singer R/Z index theorem for unitary flat vector bundles, and proves an R refinement in the case where the Dirac operator is replaced by the Signature operator.
Decomplexification of the Capelli identities and holomorphic factorization

Abstract:The Capelli identities claim $det(A)det(B) = det(AB+correction)$ for certain matrices with noncommutative entries. They have applications in representation theory and integrable systems. We propose new examples of these identities, constructed according to the following principle. For several known identities for $n$ by $n$ matrices we construct new identity for $2n$ by $2n$ matrices where each element $z$ of the original matrix is substituted by 2x2 matrix of the form $[real(z) ~imag(z); ~ -imag(z) ~ real(z)]$, i.e. we view the original identity as complex valued, while the new identity is its real form (decomplexification). It appears that "decomplexification" affects non-trivially the "correction term". It becomes tridiagonal matrix, in contrast to the diagonal in the classical case. The key result is an extension to the non-commutative setting of the fact that the determinant of the decomplexified matrix is equal to the square module of the determinant of the original matrix (in non-commutative setting the corrections are necessary). The decomplexified Capelli's identities are corollaries of this fact and standard Capelli identities. We also discuss analogs of the Cayley identity; observe that the Capelli determinant coincides with the Duflo image of the standard determinant; give short proof of the Cayley identity via Harish-Chandra's radial part calculation. The main motivation for us is a recent paper by An Huang (<a class="link-https" data-arxiv-id="1102.2657" href="https://arxiv.org/abs/1102.2657">arXiv:1102.2657</a>). From our viewpoint his result is a "dequaternionification" of 1 by 1 Capelli identity. Apparently it can be extended to $n$ by $n$ case, but our approach should be somehow modified for this. The paper aims to be accessible and interesting not only for experts. It gives brief review of Capelli identities, applications, their relation with Wick quantization, Duflo map, some open issues, etc.

Q-Difference Equations of Moment Integrals for Transformational Identities and Generating Functions

Abstract:In this paper, we show how to deduce several moment integrals by the method of q-difference equation. In addition, we obtain several generalizations of transformational identities by the technique of moment integrals. Meanwhile, we obtain some special cases of bilateral-unilateral series and the Rogers-Ramanujan identities as by-products. Moreover, we give two mixed generating functions for generalized Rogers-Szego polynomials by moment integrals and derive two transformational identities by symmetry. At last, a trilinear generating function for generalized Rogers-Szego polynomials is given by moment integrals.

Abstract:This purpose of this paper is to note an interesting identity derived from an integral in Gradshteyn and Ryzhik using techniques from George Boros'(deceased) Ph.D thesis. The idenity equates a sum to a product by evaluating an integral in two different ways. A more general form of the idenity is left for further investigation.

Along the way, we stress the difference between the \textup{collectors} (pre-invariant but of one piece) and the \textup{connectors} (invariant but mutually unrelated). We also attempt to streamline the nomenclature and notations.

Abstract:A novel integral identity is introduced that can be applied to circular and diamond symmetric functions. It is demonstrated how this new identity and its alternative representations can be employed to facilitate integral derivations, including available examples in the literature as its special cases. As another application of the presented integral identities, a new integral transform is introduced that transforms circular symmetric functions to corresponding diamond symmetric functions. It is also illustrated how other integral equalities can be developed based on the introduced identities and using known integral transform kernels. Then, two-dimensional Mellin and Fourier transform kernels are adopted as case studies.

Abstract:An explicit quantization of Chern-Simons theory leads to an identity between sums of the Kac-Weyl characters. One can use this identity to prove inequalities that constrain the fusion coefficients $N_{\mu\nu}^l$ in the case of RCFTs that descend from current algebras. It also leads to a statement regarding the conjugacy symmetry of the sums of squares of fusion coefficients for current algebras admitting complex representations.

Abstract:In this paper, we extend the DC calculus introduced by Perelman on finite dimensional Alexandrov spaces with curvature bounded below. Among other things, our results allow us to define the Hessian and the Laplacian of DC functions (including distance functions as a particular instance) as a measure-valued tensor and a Radon measure respectively. We show that these objects share various properties with their analogues on smooth Riemannian manifolds.

Abstract:An integral geometry problem is considered on a family of n‐dimensional surfaces of revolution whose vertices lie on a hyperplane and directions of symmetry axes are fixed and orthogonal to this plane, in Rn+1 . More precisely, the reconstruction of a function f(x,y) , x∈Rn , y∈R , from the integrals of the form f(x,y)dx extended over a chosen side of all surfaces of revolution of a given family is investigated. Unlike the usual Radon transform, the integrals considered here are not taken with respect to the surface area element. A Fourier slice identity and a backprojection‐type inversion formula are obtained with a method based on the Fourier and Hankel transforms. The reconstruction procedure and some analytical and numerical implementations of the obtained inversion formulas in the cases of n=1 and n=2 are provided.

Abstract:We propose new inhomogeneous local integrability equations - combined equations, for statistical vertex models of general dimensions in the framework of the Algebraic Bethe Ansatz (ABA). For the low dimensional cases the efficiency of the step by step consideration of the transfer matrices' commutation is demonstrated. We construct some simple 3D solutions with the three-state $R$-matrices of certain 20-vertex structure; the connection with the quantum three-qubit gates is discussed. New, restricted versions of 3D local integrability equations with four-state $R$-matrices are defined, too. Then we construct a new 3D analogue of the two-dimensional star-triangle equations.

The integral identity conjecture in motivic homotopy theory

Abstract:The integral identity conjecture of Kontsevich and Soibelman plays an important role in proving the existence of motivic Donaldson-Thomas invariants for three-dimensional noncommutative Calabi-Yau manifolds. There are a number of different formulations of this conjecture in different contexts and accordingly, there are corresponding solutions to them. The methods devoted to solving this conjecture are diverse, ranging from $\ell$-adic cohomology of rigid analytic varieties to Hrushovski-Kazhdan motivic integration and motivic Fubini theorem for tropicalization maps,... In a recent work, Ivorra deduces a functorial version of the integral identity in the stable homotopy of schemes, from the Braden hyperbolic localization theorem. This functorial version concerns Ayoub's nearby cycles functor associated with a $\mathbb{G}_m$-equivariant function $f \colon X \longrightarrow \mathbb{A}^1$ on vector bundles with a linear action of $\mathbb{G}_m$ on algebraic varieties over a field of characteristic zero. In the present work, we follow the functorial approach by Ivorra and extend the scope of the original conjecture by Kontsevich and Soibelman by studying more generally the case of $\mathbb{G}_m$-equivariant functions on algebraic $S$-spaces with a $\tau$-locally linearizable action of $\mathbb{G}_m$ over a noetherian scheme $S$ and extend the functorial integral identity to these cases. Our result is functorial, it allows more flexibity on the characteristic of the base scheme and the formulation exists in the world of motives which can realizes to other settings, e.g., étale realization, Betti realization, virtual motives... We also prove a result which is independent of interest and already appears in the work of others, namely, the motivic version of the functorial compatibility of the Bernstein isomorphisms with constant term functors.

Abstract:We define twisted versions of the classical and quantum double ramification hierarchy construction based on intersection theory of the strata of meromorphic differentials in the moduli space of stable curves and $k$-twisted double ramification cycles for $k=1$, respectively, we prove their integrability and tau symmetry and study their connection. We apply the construction to the case of the trivial cohomological field theory to find it produces the KdV hierarchy, although its relation to the untwisted case is nontrivial. The key role of the KdV hierarchy in controlling the intersection theory of several natural tautological classes translates this relation into a series of remarkable identities between intersection numbers involving psi-classes, Hodge classes, Norbury's theta class and the strata of meromorphic differentials.
