Abstract:We give a bijection between ordered $m$-clusters and (complete) $m$-exceptional sequences, a concept that we introduce for this purpose. This holds for all hereditary artin algebras. This extends the bijection in the $m = 1$ case shown in arXiv:1706.02041.

Abstract:In 2017, Igusa and Todorov gave a bijection between signed exceptional sequences and ordered partial clusters. In this paper, we show that every term in an exceptional sequence is either relatively projective or relatively injective or both and we refine this bijection to one between projectively signed exceptional sequences and ordered partial positive clusters by assigning signs to objects that are not relatively injective. We also give a characterization of relatively projective/injective objects in terms of supports of the objects in the exceptional sequence.

Probability distribution for exceptional sequences of type $A_n$

Abstract:We determine the probability distribution for relative projective objects in an exceptional sequence of type $A_n$ of any length. We show that these events (the $j$-th object in an exceptional sequence of length $k\le n$ being relatively projective) are independent of each other and from the length of the sequence. This gives a probabilistic interpretation of the product formula for the number of exceptional sequences of length $k$ and clusters or partial clusters of size $k$ since the latter numbers are proportional to the number of signed exceptional sequences of length $k$.

Abstract:Our motivation is to build a systematic method in order to investigate the structure of cluster algebras of geometric type. The method is given through the notion of mixing-type sub-seeds, the theory of seed homomorphisms and the view-point of gluing of seeds. As an application, for (rooted) cluster algebras, we completely classify rooted cluster subalgebras and characterize rooted cluster quotient algebras in detail. Also, we build the relationship between the categorification of a rooted cluster algebra and that of its rooted cluster subalgebras. Note that cluster algebras of geometric type studied here are of the sign-skew-symmetric case.

Abstract:Recently, Buan and Marsh showed that if two complete $\tau$-exceptional sequences agree in all but at most one term, then they must agree everywhere, provided the algebra is $\tau$-tilting finite. They conjectured that the result holds without that assumption. We prove their conjecture. Along the way, we also show that the dimension vectors of the modules in a $\tau$-exceptional sequence are linearly independent.

Abstract:We prove that there is a one to one correspondence between the following three sets: idempotent functions on a set of size $n$, complete exceptional sequences of linear radical square zero Nakayama algebras of rank $n$ and rooted labeled forests with $n$ nodes and height of at most one. Therefore, the number of exceptional sequences is given by the sum $\sum\limits^n_{j=1}\binom{n}{j}j^{n-j}$.

Abstract:We introduce a notion of mutation for $\tau$-exceptional sequences of modules over arbitrary finite dimensional algebras. For hereditary algebras, we show that this coincides with the classical mutation of exceptional sequences. For rank two algebras, we show that mutation of $\tau$-exceptional sequences is transitive if and only if mutation of support $\tau$-tilting modules in the sense of Adachi-Iyama-Reiten is transitive.

Abstract:Let A be a hereditary artin algebra and M a complete exceptional sequence over A. Let F(M) be the subcategory of A-mod consisting of modules with an M-filtration. A quasi-hereditary algebra is called e-quasi-hereditary provided that its Δ-good module category is equivalent to the category F(M) under an exact functor. A characterization of e-quasi-hereditary algebras is given, and a connection between the representation type of F(Δ) and the Tits form associated to it for some e-quasi-hereditary algebras is obtained in this paper.

Abstract: Let $S$ be an upper cluster algebra, which is a subalgebra of $R$. Suppose that there is some cluster variable $x_e$ such that ${R}_{{x}_e} = S[{x}_e^{\pm 1}]$. We try to understand under which conditions ${R}$ is an upper cluster algebra, and how the quiver of $R$ relates to that of $S$. Moreover, if the restriction of $(\Delta,W)$ to some subquiver is a cluster model, we give a sufficient condition for $(\Delta,W)$ itself being a cluster model. As an application, we show that the semi-invariant ring of any complete $m$-tuple flags is an upper cluster algebra whose quiver is explicitly given. Moreover, the quiver with its rigid potential is a polyhedral cluster model.
Cluster algebras of type C via cluster tubes

Abstract:Cluster tubes are $2-$Calabi-Yau triangulated categories which contain no cluster tilting objects, but maximal rigid objects. Fix a maximal rigid object $T$ in the cluster tube $\C_n$ of rank $n$. For any indecomposable rigid object $M$ in $\C_n$, we give an analogous $X_M$ of Caldero-Chapton's formula (or Palu's cluster character formula) by using the geometric information of $M$. We show that $X_M, X_{M'}$ satisfy the mutation formula when $M,M'$ form an exchange pair, and that $X_{?}: M\mapsto X_M$ gives a bijection from the set of indecomposable rigid objects in $\C_n$ to the set of cluster variables of cluster algebra of type $C_{n-1}$, which induces a bijection between the set of (basic) maximal rigid objects in $\C_n$ and the set of clusters. This strengths a surprising result proved recently by Buan-Marsh-Vatne that the combinatorics of maximal rigid objects in the cluster tube $\C_n$ encode the combinatorics of the cluster algebra of type $B_{n-1}$ since the combinatorics of cluster algebras of type $B_{n-1}$ or of type $C_{n-1}$ are the same by one of results of Fomin-Zelevinsky in [FZ2].

Abstract:Let Q̃ (resp. Q) be an extended exchange (resp. exchange) cluster quiver of finite mutation type. We introduce the distribution set of the numbers of arrows for Mut[Q̃] (resp. Mut[Q]), give the maximum and minimum numbers of the distribution set and establish the existence of an extended complete walk (resp. a complete walk). As a consequence, we prove that the distribution set for Mut[Q̃] (resp. Mut[Q]) is continuous except in the case of exceptional cluster algebras. In case of cluster quivers Q_inf of infinite mutation type, the distribution set for Mut[Q_inf] in general is not continuous. Besides, we show that the maximal number of arrows of quivers in Mut[Q_inf] is infinite if and only if the maximal number of arrows between any two vertices of a quiver in Mut[Q_inf] is infinite.
A geometric description of the m-cluster categories of type D_n

Abstract:We show that the m-cluster category of type D_n is equivalent to a certain geometrically-defined category of arcs in a punctured regular nm-m+1-gon. This generalises a result of Schiffler for m=1. We use the notion of the mth power of a translation quiver to realise the m-cluster category in terms of the cluster category.

Abstract:A cluster is a finite set of generators of a cluster algebra. The Laurent Phenomenon of Fomin and Zelevinsky says that any element of a cluster algebra can be written as a Laurent polynomial in terms of any cluster. The upper cluster algebra of a cluster algebra is the ring of rational functions that can be written as a Laurent polynomial in every cluster of the cluster algebra. By the Laurent phenomenon a cluster algebra is always contained in its upper cluster algebra, but they are not always equal. In 2014 it was conjectured that the equality of the cluster algebra and upper cluster algebra is equivalent to a combinatorial property regarding the existence of a maximal green sequence. In this work we prove a stronger result for cluster algebras from mutation-finite quivers, and provide a counterexample to show that the conjecture does not hold in general. Finally, we propose a new conjecture about the upper cluster algebra on the relationship which replaces maximal green sequences with more general green-to-red sequences and incorporates Mueller's local-acyclicity.

Abstract:In this paper, we will place clusters in type $\tilde{\mathbb{A}}$ (equivalently triangluations of an annulus) into infinite families parametrized by winding numbers of certain arcs in the corresponding triangulation. We will count how many such families there are and provide an algebraic description of these families in terms of the corresponding cluster category.

Abstract:Cluster algebras are commutative algebras that were introduced by Fomin and Zelevinsky in order to model the dual canonical basis of a quantum group and total positivity in algebraic groups. Cluster categories were introduced as a representation-theoretic model for cluster algebras. In this article we use this representation-theoretic approach to prove a conjecture of Fomin and Zelevinsky, that for cluster algebras with no coefficients associated to quivers with no oriented cycles, a seed is determined by its cluster. We also obtain an interpretation of the monomial in the denominator of a non-polynomial cluster variable in terms of the composition factors of an indecomposable exceptional module over an associated hereditary algebra.

Abstract:The cluster-tilted algebras have been introduced by Buan, Marsh and Reiten, they are the endomorphism rings of cluster-tilting objects $T$ in cluster categories; we call such an algebra cluster-concealed in case $T$ is obtained from a preprojective tilting module. For example, all representation-finite cluster-tilted algebras are cluster-concealed. If $C$ is a representation-finite cluster-tilted algebra, then the indecomposable $C$-modules are shown to be determined by their dimension vectors. For a general cluster-tilted algebra $C$, we are going to describe the dimension vectors of the indecomposable $C$-modules in terms of the root system of a quadratic form. The roots may have both positive and negative coordinates and we have to take absolute values.

Abstract:Admissible chains of i-boxes are important combinatorial tools in the monoidal categorification of cluster algebras, as they provide seeds of the cluster algebra. In this paper, we explore the properties of maximal commuting families of i-boxes in a more general setting, and define a certain matrix associated with such a family, which we call the exchange matrix. It turns out that, when considering the cluster algebra structure on the Grothendieck rings, this matrix is indeed the exchange matrix of the seed associated with the family, both in certain categories of modules over quantum affine algebras and over quiver Hecke algebras. We prove this by constructing explicit short exact sequences that represent the mutation relations.

Abstract:Snake modules introduced by Mukhin and Young form a family of modules of quantum affine algebras. The aim of this paper is to prove that the Hernandez-Leclerc conjecture about monoidal categorifications of cluster algebras is true for prime snake modules of types $A_{n}$ and $B_{n}$. We prove that prime snake modules are real. We introduce $S$-systems consisting of equations satisfied by the $q$-characters of prime snake modules of types $A_{n}$ and $B_{n}$. Moreover, we show that every equation in the $S$-system of type $A_n$ (respectively, $B_n$) corresponds to a mutation in the cluster algebra $\mathscr{A}$ (respectively, $\mathscr{A}'$) constructed by Hernandez and Leclerc and every prime snake module of type $A_n$ (respectively, $B_n$) corresponds to some cluster variable in $\mathscr{A}$ (respectively, $\mathscr{A}'$). In particular, this proves that the Hernandez-Leclerc conjecture is true for all prime snake modules of types $A_{n}$ and $B_{n}$.

Abstract:Let H be a finite-dimensional hereditary algebra over an algebraically closed field k and CFm be the repetitive cluster category of H with m ≥ 1. We investigate the properties of cluster tilting objects in CFm and the structure of repetitive cluster-tilted algebras. Moreover, we generalize Theorem 4.2 in [12] (Buan A, Marsh R, Reiten I. Cluster-tilted algebra, Trans. Amer. Math. Soc., 359(1)(2007), 323-332.) to the situation of CFm, and prove that the tilting graph KCFm of CFm is connected.

Abstract:We prove that the semi-invariant ring of the standard representation space of the l-flagged m-arrow Kronecker quiver is an upper cluster algebra for any l,m∈N. The quiver and cluster are explicitly given. We prove that the quiver with its rigid potential is a polyhedral cluster model. As a consequence, to compute each Kronecker coefficient gμ,νλ with λ at most m parts, we only need to count lattice points in at most m! fiber (rational) polytopes inside the g-vector cone, which is explicitly given.
