Abstract:There is a growing acknowledgement that children are direct victims of domestic violence and abuse, and require support and protection in their own right. However, professional interventions designed to protect children may unintentionally further victimise parents, most often mothers. In response, a number of new interagency approaches have been developed.

The main problem that this paper attempts to solve is: how to improve the support and protection for children who suffer from domestic violence and abuse and their parents through cross - institutional cooperation. Specifically, the research focuses on the following points:

### Method
To achieve the above goals, the author adopted a scoping review method and systematically searched and reviewed relevant literature published from May 2015 to July 2022. The screening criteria included:

- Publication time after May 2015;
- The language of the literature is English;
- Including an evaluation of the cooperation model between child protection services and domestic violence services or family legal services;
- Focusing on domestic violence committed by men against women;
- Reporting the potential benefits of these cooperation models for children aged 0 - 18;
- Including any form of outcome measurement, such as the impact on children, parents, families, service providers, or organizations.

### Main findings
Through the screening of 4,103 pieces of literature, 13 papers or reports were finally determined, covering the evaluation of 6 cross - institutional intervention models. The most frequently cited model is the "Safe & Together" model, mainly because the same research team in Australia has published a large number of related articles.

In general, although there are an increasing number of innovative cooperation models emerging, the evidence regarding the effectiveness of these models is still limited, especially the lack of feedback on the acceptance and practicality of children and adult family members.

### Conclusion
Although many promising cooperation models have been identified at present, the evidence regarding their effectiveness is still insufficient. Future research needs to explore the actual effects of these models more in - depth and collect more opinions from victims and their families to ensure that these interventions are truly helpful in improving their quality of life and safety.
