Abstract:We take a look at the fractional Kirchhoff problem in this paper. Using a variational approach, we show that there exists a ground state solution for this problem. Furthermore, using the approach developed by Szulkin and Weth, we also find that positive ground state solutions exist for the fractional Kirchhoff equation with p=4.

We relate the number of positive solutions with the topology of the set where V attains its minimum in Λ . The proof is based on the Ljusternik–Schnirelmann theory.

Abstract:In this paper, we study the existence of infinitely many solutions for a fractional Kirchhoff–Schrödinger–Poisson system. Based on variational methods, especially the fountain theorem for the subcritical case and the symmetric mountain pass theorem established by Kajikiya for the critical case, we obtain infinitely many solutions for the system under certain assumptions. The novelties of this article lie in the appearance of the possibly degenerate Kirchhoff function and weak assumptions on the nonlinear term which are quite mild.

Abstract:In this paper, we investigate the following fractional Kirchhoff system in RN : {(1+b∫RN|(−Δ)s2u|2dx)(−Δ)su+V1(x)u+λ1u=μ1|u|p1−2u+r1β|u|r1−2u|v|r2,(1+b∫RN|(−Δ)s2v|2dx)(−Δ)sv+V2(x)v+λ2v=μ2|v|p2−2v+r2β|u|r1|v|r2−2v, under the constraints ∫RN|u|2dx=a12,∫RN|v|2dx=a22, where 0< s <1, 2 s < N <4 s , b , μ1 , μ2 , β are all positive numbers and r1 , r2≥1 . V1(x) , V2(x)≥0 are the potential functions and a1 , a2>0 are prescribed constants. In L2 -critical case, we first obtain the existence of non-negative solutions through a constrained minimization problem. Then under some further assumptions on ri and Vi(x) for i = 1, 2, we conclude the solution is Hölder continuous and decays like |x|−(N+2s) at infinity. Finally, the positivity of solutions is verified. In L2 -supercritical case, the normalized solutions are obtained by a minimax theorem. Precisely, the theorem allows us to obtain a bounded Palais-Smale sequence satisfying the Pohozaev identity in limit sense. Further, the signs of Lagrange multipliers are determined to ensure the strong convergence of the approximate critical point sequence in Hs×Hs .

Abstract:In this article, we consider the following Kirchhoff equation involving fractional Laplacian where are constants, $\frac{3}{4}<s<1,$ is the so-called Gagliardo (semi)norm of u , $4<p<2^*_{s}=\frac{6}{3-2s}$ and is an exterior domain with smooth boundary By establishing a global compactness lemma of the fractional Kirchhoff equation in exterior domains, we verify the compactness of Palais–Smale sequences corresponding to above problem at higher energy level interval. Then combining some crucial estimates and barycentric function, we determine the existence of positive bound state solutions provided that is contained in a small ball. In addition, we point out that the main result can be extended to fractional Sobolev critical case with small parameter.</p<2^*_{s}=\frac{6}{3-2s}\)<> </s<1,\)<>

Here $2^*_\alpha={2n}/{(n-2\alpha)}$ is the fractional critical Sobolev exponent, $\lambda$ is a positive parameter and the coefficient $f(x)$ is a real valued continuous function which is allowed to change sign.
