Abstract:In this paper, we obtain several classification results of $2$-dimensional complete Lagrangian translators and lagrangian self-expanders with constant squared norm $|\vec{H}|^{2}$ of the mean curvature vector in $\mathbb{C}^{2}$ by using a new Omori-Yau type maximum principle which was proved by Chen and Qiu \cite{CQ}. The same idea is also used to give a similar result of Lagrangian $\xi$-translators in $\mathbb{C}^{2}$.

Abstract:It is our purpose to study complete space-like self-expanders in the Minkovski space. By use of maximum principle of Omori-Yau type, we can obtain the rigidity theorems on $n$-dimensional complete space-like self-expanders in the Minkovski space $\mathbb R^{n+1}_{1}$. For complete space-like self-expanders of dimension $2$, we give a classification of them under assumption of constant squared norm of the second fundamental form.

Abstract:In this paper, we obtain a rigidity result of $2$-dimensional complete lagrangian self-shrinkers with constant squared norm $|\vec{H}|^{2}$ of the mean curvature vector in the Euclidean space $\mathbb{R}^{4}$. The same idea is also used to give a similar result of Lagrangian $\xi$-submanifolds in $\mathbb{R}^{4}$.

Abstract:In this paper, we completely classify $3$-dimensional complete self-expanders with constant norm $S$ of the second fundamental form and constant $f_{3}$ in Euclidean space $\mathbb R^{4}$, where $h_{ij}$ are components of the second fundamental form, $S=\sum_{i,j}h^{2}_{ij}$ and $f_{3}=\sum_{i,j,k}h_{ij}h_{jk}h_{ki}$.

Abstract:In this paper, we study the geometric classifications of -self-expanders in three-dimensional Euclidean space. It is proved that for a 2-dimensional -self-expander in the 3-dimensional Euclidean space , if the Gauss curvature K is constant, then locally M is a plane , a cylinder , a round sphere and a generalized cylinder , where is an -self-expander curve. Furthermore, we give a classification of -self-expander M with constant squared norm of the second fundamental form, and show that M is locally a plane , a cylinder and a round sphere .

Abstract:Let $X:M^n\to \mathbb{R}^{n+1}$ be a complete properly immersed self-shrinker. In this paper, we prove that if the squared norm of the second fundamental form $S$ satisfies $1\leq S< C$ for some constant $C$, then $S=1$. Further we classify the $n$-dimensional complete proper self-shrinkers with constant squared norm of the second fundamental form in $\mathbb{R}^{n+1}$, which solve the conjecture proposed by Q.M. Cheng and G. Wei when the self-shrinker is proper.

Abstract:By the integral method we prove that any space-like entire graphic self-shrinking solution to Lagrangian mean curvature flow in $\R^{2n}_{n}$ with the indefinite metric $\sum_i dx_idy_i$ is flat. This result improves the previous ones in \cite{HW} and \cite{CCY} by removing the additional assumption in their results. In a similar manner, we reprove its Euclidean counterpart which is established in \cite{CCY}.

Abstract:In this paper, we obtain several new characterizations of the Clifford torus as a Lagrangian self-shrinker. We first show that the Clifford torus ${\mathbb {S}}^1(1)\times {\mathbb {S}}^1(1)$ is the unique compact orientable Lagrangian self-shrinker in ${\mathbb {C}}^2$ with $|A|^2\le 2$, which gives an affirmative answer to Castro–Lerma’s conjecture in Castro and Lerma (Int Math Res Not 6:1515–1527; 2014). We also prove that the Clifford torus is the unique compact orientable embedded Lagrangian self-shrinker with nonnegative or nonpositive Gauss curvature in ${\mathbb {C}}^2$.

Abstract:In this note, we give a new and simple proof of a result in {\cite{DX1}} which states that any smooth complete self-shrinker in $\mathbb{R}^3$ with second fundamental form of constant length must be a generalized cylinder $\mathbb{S}^k \times \mathbb{R}^{2-k}$ for some $k\leq2$. Moreover, we prove a gap theorem for smooth self-shrinkers in all dimensions.

Abstract:This paper explores the structure of bi-Lagrangian Grassmanians for pencils of $2$-forms on real or complex vector spaces. We reduce the analysis to the pencils whose Jordan-Kronecker Canonical Form consists of Jordan blocks with the same eigenvalue. We demonstrate that this is equivalent to studying Lagrangian subspaces invariant under a nilpotent self-adjoint operator. We calculate the dimension of bi-Lagrangian Grassmanians and describe their open orbit under the automorphism group. We completely describe the automorphism orbits in the following three cases: for one Jordan block, for sums of equal Jordan blocks and for a sum of two distinct Jordan blocks.

Abstract:In this paper, we study the Lagrangian F-stability of closed Lagrangian self-shrinkers immersed in complex Euclidean space. We show that any closed Lagrangian self-shrinker with first Betti number greater than one is Lagrangian F-unstable. In particular, any two-dimensional embedded closed Lagrangian self-shrinker is Lagrangian F-unstable. For a closed Lagrangian self-shrinker with first Betti number equal to one, we show that Lagrangian F-stability is equivalent to Hamiltonian F-stability. We also characterize Hamiltonian F-stability of a closed Lagrangian self-shrinker by its spectral property of the twisted Laplacian.
Lagrangian multiforms on coadjoint orbits for finite-dimensional integrable systems

Abstract:Lagrangian multiforms provide a variational framework to describe integrable hierarchies. The case of Lagrangian $1$-forms covers finite-dimensional integrable systems. We use the theory of Lie dialgebras introduced by Semenov-Tian-Shansky to construct a Lagrangian $1$-form. Given a Lie dialgebra associated with a Lie algebra $\mathfrak{g}$ and a collection $H_k$, $k=1,\dots,N$, of invariant functions on $\mathfrak{g}^*$, we give a formula for a Lagrangian multiform describing the commuting flows for $H_k$ on a coadjoint orbit in $\mathfrak{g}^*$. We show that the Euler-Lagrange equations for our multiform produce the set of compatible equations in Lax form associated with the underlying $r$-matrix of the Lie dialgebra. We establish a structural result which relates the closure relation for our multiform to the Poisson involutivity of the Hamiltonians $H_k$ and the so-called ``double zero'' on the Euler-Lagrange equations. The construction is extended to a general coadjoint orbit by using reduction from the free motion of the cotangent bundle of a Lie group. We illustrate the dialgebra construction of a Lagrangian multiform with the open Toda chain and the rational Gaudin model. The open Toda chain is built using two different Lie dialgebra structures on $\mathfrak{sl}(N+1)$. The first one possesses a non-skew-symmetric $r$-matrix and falls within the Adler-Kostant-Symes scheme. The second one possesses a skew-symmetric $r$-matrix. In both cases, the connection with the well-known descriptions of the chain in Flaschka and canonical coordinates is provided.

Abstract:By constructing a holomorphic cubic form for Lagrangian surfaces with nonzero constant length mean curvature vector in a 2-dimensional complex space form $\tilde M$(4c), we characterize the Lagrangian pesudosphere as the only branched Lagrangian immersion of a sphere in $\tilde M$(4c) with nonzero constant length mean curvature vector. When c = 0, our result reduces to Castro-Urbano’s result in [1].

Abstract:We show that well-chosen Lagrangians for a class of two-dimensional integrable lattice equations obey a closure relation when embedded in a higher dimensional lattice. On the basis of this property we formulate a Lagrangian description for such systems in terms of Lagrangian multiforms. We discuss the connection of this formalism with the notion of multidimensional consistency, and the role of the lattice from the point of view of the relevant variational principle.

On the projection of exact Lagrangians in locally conformally symplectic geometry

Abstract:In this paper, we construct examples of exact Lagrangians (of "locally conformally symplectic" type) in cotangent bundles of closed manifolds with locally conformally symplectic structures and give conditions under which the projection induces a simple homotopy equivalence between an exact Lagrangian and the $0$-section of the cotangent bundle. This line of questioning follows in the footsteps of Abouzaid and Kragh, and more generally of the Arnol'd conjecture. Notably, we will see that while exact Lagrangians cannot be spheres in this setting, a naive adaptation of the Abouzaid-Kragh theorem does not hold in this generalization.

Abstract:In this paper, we study Tonelli Lagrangian L is an element of C-r (TT2, R) with r >= 5. For a generic perturbation of Lagrangian L -> L + P where P is an element of C-r(T-2, R), we get simultaneous hyperbolicity of a family of minimal periodic orbits which share the same first homology class. Consequently, these periodic orbits make up one or more pieces of normally hyperbolic invariant cylinder in TT2.
