Abstract:In this paper, we prove that the uniqueness of blowup at the maximum point of coincidence set of the superconductivity problem, mainly based on the Weiss-type and Monneau-type monotonicity formulas, and the proof of the main results in this paper is inspired the recent paper \cite{CFL22} by Chen-Feng-Li.

Abstract:For singular mean field equations defined on a compact Riemann surface, we prove the uniqueness of bubbling solutions as far as blowup points are either regular points or non-quantized singular sources. In particular the uniqueness result covers the most general case extending or improving all previous works of Bartolucci-Jevnikar-Lee-Yang \cite{bart-4,bart-4-2} and Wu-Zhang \cite{wu-zhang-ccm}. For example, unlike previous results, we drop the assumption of singular sources being critical points of a suitably defined Kirchoff-Routh type functional. Our argument is based on refined estimates, robust and flexible enough to be applied to a wide range of problems requiring a delicate blowup analysis. In particular we come up with a major simplification of previous uniqueness proofs.

Abstract:A singular parabolic system with homogeneous Dirichlet boundary conditions and concentrated nonlinear reaction sources was examined. This paper investigated the existence and uniqueness of the solution. The sufficient conditions for the solution being blown up simultaneously in a finite time were determined. In addition, it was shown that the solution blew up everywhere in the domain except boundary points.

Abstract:We are concerned with the focusing $$L^2$$ -critical nonlinear Schrödinger equations in $${{\mathbb {R}}}^d$$ for dimensions $$d=1,2$$ . The uniqueness is proved for a large energy class of multi-bubble blow-up solutions, which converge to a sum of K pseudo-conformal blow-up solutions particularly with the low rate $$(T-t)^{0+}$$ , as $$t\rightarrow T$$ , $$1\leqq K<{\infty }$$ . Moreover, we also prove the uniqueness in the energy class of multi-solitons which converge to a sum of K solitary waves with convergence rate $$(1/t)^{2+}$$ , as $$t\rightarrow {\infty }$$ . The uniqueness class is further enlarged to contain the multi-solitons with even lower convergence rate $$(1/t)^{\frac{1}{2}+}$$ in the pseudo-conformal space. Our proof is mainly based on several upgrading procedures of the convergence of remainder in the geometrical decomposition, in which the key ingredients are several monotone functionals constructed particularly in the multi-bubble case.

Abstract:For Liouville equation with quantized singular sources, the non-simple blowup phenomenon has been a major difficulty for years. It was conjectured by the first two authors that the non-simple blowup phenomenon does not occur if the equation is defined on the unit ball with Dirichlet boundary condition. In this article we not only completely settle this conjecture in its entirety, but also extend our result to cover any bounded domain. Since the main theorem in this article rules out the non-simple phenomenon in commonly observed applications, it may pave the way for advances in degree counting programs, uniqueness of blowup solutions and construction of solutions, etc.

Abstract:We consider the cubic and quintic nonlinear Schrödinger equations (NLS) under the $${\mathbb {R}}^{d}$$ and $${\mathbb {T}}^{d}$$ energy-supercritical setting. Via a newly developed unified scheme, we prove the unconditional uniqueness for solutions to NLS at critical regularity for all dimensions. Thus, together with [19, 20], the unconditional uniqueness problems for $$H^{1}$$ -critical and $$H^{1}$$ -supercritical cubic and quintic NLS are completely and uniformly resolved at critical regularity for these domains. One application of our theorem is to prove that defocusing blowup solutions of the type in [59] are the only possible $$C([0,T);{\dot{H}}^{s_{c}})$$ solutions if exist in these domains.
High Order Vanishing Theorems for Nonsimple Blowup Solutions of Singular Liouville Equation

Abstract:For a singular Liouville equation, it is plausible that a non-simple blowup phenomenon occurs around a quantized singular pole. The presence of complex blowup profiles of bubbling solutions presents substantial challenges in applications. In this article, we demonstrate that under natural assumptions, non-simple blowup takes place only when the derivatives of certain coefficient functions approach zero. Our main result encompasses all previous findings and determines the vanishing order for any specific quantized singular source. Our theorems can be utilized not only to eliminate multiple non-simple blowup scenarios in applications but also to investigate blowup solutions with moving poles.

Abstract:This paper is concerned with the problem of the uniqueness of singular points of vector fields on Riemannian manifolds. The radii of the uniqueness balls of the singular points of vector fields are estimated under the assumption that the vector fields satisfy the γ-condition, and the results due to Wang and Han in [Criterion α and Newton's method under weak conditions, Chinese J. Numer. Appl. Math. 19(2) (1997) 96–105] are extended. Moreover, applications to analytic vector fields are given.

Abstract:In a recent series of important works \cite{wei-zhang-1,wei-zhang-2,wei-zhang-3}, Wei-Zhang proved several vanishing theorems for non-simple blow-up solutions of singular Liouville equations. It is well known that a non-simple blow-up situation happens when the spherical Harnack inequality is violated near a quantized singular source. In this article, we further strengthen the conclusions of Wei-Zhang by proving that if the spherical Harnack inequality does hold, there exist blow-up solutions with non-vanishing coefficient functions.

Abstract:In this paper, under the general singular assumptions on f, we discuss the existence and uniqueness of solution to a class of Kirchhoff–Schrödinger–Poisson system. For the existence of solution, we assume that f is nonincreasing on and satisfies general singularity at zero, and sublinear growth at infinity. Furthermore, we also obtain the unique result assuming that f satisfies one side Lipschitz condition on . The variational method is employed to discuss the existence and uniqueness of solution to this system.

Abstract:We use X^{s,b}-inspired spaces to prove a uniqueness result for Calderon's problem in a Lipschitz domain under the assumption that the conductivity is Lipschitz. For Lipschitz conductivities, we obtain uniqueness for conductivities close to the identity in a suitable sense. We also prove uniqueness for arbitrary C^1 conductivities.

We establish a new theorem on the pathwise uniqueness of solutions for the equation under a weaker condition than the Lipschitz one. The result concerning the one-parameter analogue of the problem we consider here is immediate (see [1, Theorem 3.2]). Unfortunately, the situation is much more complicated for two-parameter process and we believe that our result is the first one of its kind and is interesting in itself. We have proved the existence theorem for the equation in [2].

Abstract:We show that there is at most one nonnegative boundary blow-up solution for the one-dimensional boundary blow-up problem (|u′|p−2u′)′=f(u)in (0,1),u(0)=∞,u(1)=∞ where p>1 provided f∈C1(0,∞)∩C0[0,∞) with f(s)>0 and f′(s)≥0 for s∈(0,∞). We see that the same result still holds for some equations with special nonlinearities satisfying f(s)>0 and f′(s)≥0 for s∈(0,∞) in higher dimensions, but we conjecture that the same result should be true for equations with general nonlinearities satisfying f(s)>0 and f′(s)≥0 for s∈(0,∞) in higher dimensions.

Abstract:In this paper, we study the uniqueness of the stationary sonic-subsonic solution to the isentropic hydrodynamic model of semiconductors with sonic boundary. We provide a new method to improve the proof of the uniqueness of the steady-state sonic-subsonic solution, even for the general isentropic case. In detail, we apply the exponential variation method combining a series of modifications with respect to the degeneracy of electrons at the boundary. The proposed method in the present paper is much simpler and perfecter than the existing methods.

Abstract:This paper deals with a reaction-diffusion system with nonlocal sources. Under appropriate hypotheses, we obtain that the solution either exists globally or blows up in finite time by making use of super and sub solution techniques. In the situation when the solution blows up in finite time, we show that the blow-up set is the whole domain, which is quite different from the results with local sources. Furthermore, we obtain the blow-up rate of the solution.
