Abstract:There are two approaches in defining the category of $D$-modules on a quantized flag manifold. One is due to Lunts and Rosenberg based on the $\mathrm{Proj}$- construction of the quantized flag manifold, and the other is due to Backelin and Kremnizer using equivariant $D$-modules on the corresponding quantized algebraic group. In this paper we compare the two approaches.
What problem does this paper attempt to address?
The paper is primarily dedicated to addressing the issue of comparing different methods of defining D-modules on quantum flag manifolds. Specifically:
1. **Research Background**: In the classical case, for a connected, simply connected simple algebraic group \( G \) over the complex numbers, representations of its Lie algebra \( \mathfrak{g} \) can be realized through D-modules on the flag manifold \( B=G/B \). This theory was developed by Beilinson and Bernstein, as well as Brylinski and Kashiwara.
2. **Quantization Case**: The paper focuses on a similar theory in the context of quantum groups. The quantum flag manifold \( B_q \) is a non-commutative algebraic variety, and the category of D-modules on it can be defined in two different ways:
- The first method, proposed by Lunts and Rosenberg, is based on the non-commutative Proj construction;
- The second method, proposed by Backelin and Kremnizer, is based on equivariant D-modules on the corresponding quantum algebraic group.
3. **Main Objective**: The main goal of the paper is to compare these two methods and prove that they are equivalent in the quantum case. By constructing an appropriate equivalence, the authors demonstrate that the categories of D-modules defined in different ways are actually consistent, thereby resolving the issue of the unification of D-module definitions on quantum flag manifolds.
In summary, the paper aims to address the equivalence problem between different methods of defining D-modules on quantum flag manifolds, providing important theoretical support for related research in quantum geometry.
