Abstract:In this paper, by using the concept of the basic (or q-) calculus and a generalized conic domain, we define two subclasses of normalized multivalent functions which map the open unit disk: U={z : z is an element of C and vertical bar z vertical bar <1} onto this generalized conic domain. We investigate a number of useful properties including (for example) the coefficient estimates and the Fekete-Szego inequalities for each of these multivalent function classes. Our results are connected with those in several earlier works which are related to this field of Geometric Function Theory of Complex Analysis.

Abstract: Determination of quasi-invariant generalized functions is important for a variety of problems in representation theory, notably character theory and restriction problems. In this note, we review some new and easy-to-use techniques to show vanishing of quasi-invariant generalized functions, developed in the recent work of the authors (Uniqueness of Ginzburg-Rallis models: the Archimedean case, Trans. Amer. Math. Soc. 363, (2011), 2763-2802). The first two techniques involve geometric notions attached to submanifolds, which we call metrical properness and unipotent $\chi$-incompatibility. The third one is analytic in nature, and it arises from the first occurrence phenomenon in Howe correspondence. We also highlight how these techniques quickly lead to two well-known uniqueness results, on trilinear forms and Whittaker models.

Abstract:In this article, we first define and then propose to systematically study some new subclasses of the class of analytic and bi-concave functions in the open unit disk. For this purpose, we make use of a combination of the binomial series and the confluent hypergeometric function. Among some other properties and results, we derive the estimates on the initial Taylor-Maclaurin coefficients |a2| and |a3| for functions in these analytic and bi-concave function classes, which are introduced in this paper. We also derive a number of corollaries and consequences of our main results in this paper.

Abstract:Various families of such Special Functions as the hypergeometric functions of one, two and more variables, and their associated summation, transformation and reduction formulas, are potentially useful not only as solutions of ordinary and partial differential equations, but also in the widespread problems in the mathematical, physical, engineering and statistical sciences. The main object of this paper is first to establish four general double-series identities, which involve some suitably-bounded sequences of complex numbers, by using zero-balanced terminating hypergeometric summation theorems for the generalized hypergeometric series r+1Fr(1) (r = 1, 2, 3) in conjunction with the series rearrangement technique. The sum (or difference) of two general double hypergeometric functions of the Kamp? de F?riet type are then obtained in terms of a generalized hypergeometric function under appropriate convergence conditions. A closed form of the following Clausen hypergeometric function: 3F2 (?27z/4(1?z)3) and a reduction formula for the Srivastava-Daoust double hypergeometric function with the arguments (z,?z/4 ) are also derived. Many of the reduction formulas, which are established in this paper, are verified by using the software program, Mathematica. Some potential directions for further researches along the lines of this paper are also indicated.

Abstract:In the present paper, we introduce and investigate a new class of analytic and bi-univalent functions f(z) in the open unit disk U. For this purpose, we make use of a linear combination of the following three functions:f(z)/z, f'(z) and zf ''(z)for a function belonging to the normalized univalent function class S. By applying the technique involving the Faber polynomials, we determine estimates for the general Taylor-Maclaurin coefficient of functions belonging to the analytic and bi-univalent function class which we have introduced here. We also demonstrate the not-too-obvious behaviour of the first two Taylor-Maclaurin coefficients of such functions.

Abstract:In the present paper we introduce a new class of meromorphically multivalent functions, which is defined by means of a Hadamard product (or convolution) involving some suitably normalized meromorphically p-valent functions. A characterization property giving the coefficient bounds is obtained for this class of functions. The other related properties, which are investigated in this paper, include distortion and the radii of starlikeness and convexity. We also consider several applications of our main results to generalized hypergeometric functions, whose special cases yield some known results given recently by J.-L. Liu, and H. M. Srivastava [Classes of meromorphically multivalent functions associated with the generalized hypergeometric function, Math. Comput. Modelling 39 (2004) 21–34].

Abstract:In the present paper, we introduce and investigate each of the following new subclasses: Fp,kq,s(α;α1;ϕ),Gpq,s(α;α1;ϕ)andHpq,s(α;α1;ϕ) as well as Fp,kq,s(α;α1;ϕ),Gpq,s(α;α1;ϕ)andHpq,s(α;α1;ϕ) of meromorphically p-valent functions, which is defined by means of a certain meromorphically p-modified version of the familiar Dziok–Srivastava linear operator involving the generalized hypergeometric function. Such results as inclusion relationships, integral representations and convolution properties for these function classes are proved. The results presented here provide extensions of those given in some earlier works. Several other new results are also obtained.

Abstract:We introduce a hypergoemetirc series with two complex variables, which generalizes Appell's, Lauricella's and Kempé de Fériet's hypergeometric series, and study the system of differential equations that it satisfies. We determine the singularities, the rank and the condition for the reducibility of the system. We give complete local solutions of the system at many singular points of the system and solve the connection problem among these local solutions. Under some assumptions, the system is written as a KZ equation. We determine its spectral type in the direction of coordinates as well as simultaneous eigenspace decompositions of residue matrices. The system may or may not be rigid in the sense of N.~Katz viewed as an ordinary differential equation in some direction. We also show that the system is a special case of Gel'fand-Kapranov-Zelevinsky system. From this point of view, we discuss multivariate generalizations.

Abstract:A multivariable hypergeometric function considered recently by Niukkanen and Srivastava (1984, 1985) provides an interesting unification of the generalised hypergeometric function pFq of one variable, Appell and Kampe de Feriet functions of two variables, and Lauricella functions of n variables, and also of many other hypergeometric series which arise naturally in various physical and quantum chemical applications. As pointed out by Srivastava, the multivariable hypergeometric function is an obvious special case of the generalised Lauricella function of n variables, which was first introduced and studied by Srivastava and Daoust (1969). By employing such connections of this multivariable hypergeometric function with the more general multiple hypergeometric functions several interesting and useful properties of this function have been studied, many of which have not been given by Niukkanen. The author derives a number of new reduction formulae for the multivariable hypergeometric function from substantially more general identities involving multiple series with essentially arbitrary terms. Some interesting summation formulae for the multivariable hypergeometric function with x1= . . . =xn=1 and x1= . . . =xn=-1 are also presented.

Abstract:In this study, we establish a significant connection between certain subclasses of complex order univalent functions and the Mittag-Leffler-type Poisson distribution series. We provide criteria for these series to belong to the specific subclasses. The primary goal of this investigation is to derive necessary and sufficient conditions for the Mittag-Leffler-type Poisson distribution series $\mathcal{P}(p,u,v)(z)$ to be included in the classes $\mathcal{S}(\delta,\eta,\tau)$ and $\mathcal{R}(\delta,\eta,\tau)$. These findings enhance our understanding of the structural properties of univalent functions and extend the applicability of Mittag-Leffler-type distributions in complex analysis.

Abstract:In the present work, we establish sufficient conditions for a Dirichlet series induced by general frequencies to be universal with respect to vertical translations. Our results can be applied to known universal objects such as Hurwitz zeta functions and also can provide new examples of universal Dirichlet series including the alternating prime zeta function $\sum_{n\geq1}(-1)^np_n^{-s}$.

Abstract:By using the idea of q-calculus, we generalize the conic domain and define various subclasses of analytic functions which map the open unit disk U = {z : z is an element of C and vertical bar z vertical bar < 1} onto this generalized conic domain. We study here some conspicuous results such as: coefficients estimates, sufficient condition and convolution properties for these newly defined classes. We consider various corollaries and consequences of our main results. Most of our results are connected with earlier works related to this field.

Abstract:Let be an analytic function at 0, and let be the sequence of Appell polynomials, referred to as C-polynomials associated to f , constructed from the sequence of coefficients . We also define as the sequence of C-polynomials associated to the function , called P-polynomials associated to f . This work investigates three main topics. Firstly, we examine the properties of C-polynomials and P-polynomials and the underlying features that connect them. Secondly, drawing inspiration from the definition of P-polynomials and subject to an additional condition on f , we introduce and study the bivariate complex function , which generalizes the function and is denoted by . Thirdly, the paper's main contribution is the generalization of the Hurwitz zeta function and its fundamental properties, most notably Hurwitz's formula, by constructing a novel class of functions defined by , which are intrinsically linked to C-polynomials and referred to as LC-functions associated to f (the constant is a positive integer dependent on the choice of f ).

Abstract:In this paper, we define a subclass of sense-preserving harmonic functions associated with a class of analytic functions satisfying a differential inequality. We then establish a close relation between both subclasses. Further, we obtain some characteristic properties, including radius properties, convolution, coefficient estimates and their properties, growth estimates, and convex combination for the functions in the defined subclass. At last, we produce conditions for some special functions as well as harmonic univalent polynomials to belong to the defined subclass of harmonic functions.
