Abstract:We extend representation formulas that generalize the similarity principle of solutions to the Vekua equation to certain classes of meta-analytic functions. Also, we solve a generalization of the higher-order Schwarz boundary value problem in the context of meta-analytic functions with boundary conditions that are boundary values in the sense of distributions.

Combining the method of constructing Green functions with operators defined piecewise, the existence result of positive solutions to a singular second order three-point boundary value problem is established. Abstract:We show that functions in certain Hardy classes of solutions to higher-order iterated Vekua equations share properties of functions in the classical holomorphic Hardy spaces. Also, we show that a Schwarz boundary value problem for the higher-order Vekua equation is uniquely solvable when the boundary conditions are with respect to boundary values in the sense of distributions.

Abstract:We discuss a class of p-Laplacian-type fractional four-point boundary-value problems with a parameter. We use the Green's function, the Schauder fixed-point theorem and the Guo-Krasnoselskii fixed-point theorem on cones. In this paper, consider the zero of order k (i.e., $f(z)-f(0)$ (or $f(z)$) has a zero of order k at $z=0$), we obtain the sharp estimates of the classical boundary Schwarz lemma involving the boundary fixed point. The results presented here would generalize the corresponding result obtained by Frolova et al. (Complex Anal. Oper. Theory 8:1129-1149, 2004).

Abstract:In this paper, we generalize a recent work of Liu et al. from the open unit ball ${\mathbb {B}}^n\subset {\mathbb {C}}^n$ to more general bounded strongly pseudoconvex domains with $C^2$ boundaries. It turns out that part of the main result in this paper is in some certain sense just a part of results in a work of Bracci and Zaitsev. However, the proofs are significantly different: the argument in this paper involves a simple growth estimate for the Carathéodory metric near the boundary of $C^2$ domains and the well-known Graham’s estimate on the boundary behavior of the Carathéodory metric on strongly pseudoconvex domains, while Bracci and Zaitsev use other arguments.

Abstract: In this paper, we present an alternative and elementary proof of a sharp version of the classical boundary Schwarz lemma by Frolova et al. with initial proof via analytic semigroup approach and Julia-Carath\'eodory theorem for univalent holomorphic self-mappings of the open unit disk $\mathbb D\subset \mathbb C$. Our approach has its extra advantage to get the extremal functions of the inequality in the boundary Schwarz lemma.

Abstract:We study the $\bar\partial$ equation subject to various boundary value conditions on bounded simply connected Lipschitz domains $D\subset\mathbb C$: for the Dirichlet problem with datum in $L^p(bD, \sigma)$, this is simply a restatement of the fact that members of the holomorphic Hardy spaces are uniquely and completely determined by their boundary values. Here we identify the maximal data spaces and obtain estimates in the maximal $p$-range for the Dirichlet, Regularity-for-Dirichlet, Neumann, and Robin boundary conditions for $\bar\partial$.

Abstract:By introducing the Carathéodory metric, we establish the Schwarz lemma at the boundary for holomorphic self-mappings on the unit p-ball B of Cn. Furthermore, the boundary rigidity theorem for holomorphic self-mappings defined on B is obtained. These results cover the boundary Schwarz lemma and rigidity result for holomorphic self-mappings on the unit ball for p = 2, and the unit polydisk for p = ∞, respectively.

Abstract:This paper deals with a boundary value problem of a fractional differential equation with the nonlinear term dependent on a fractional derivative of lower order on the semi-infinite interval. An appropriate compactness criterion is established, such that we can use Schauder's fixed point theorem on an unbounded domain to obtain the existence result for solutions. Moreover, a suitable choice of a Banach space allows the solutions to be unbounded. An example illustrating our main result is also given.

Abstract:In this paper, we investigate some boundary value problems for the Cauchy–Riemann equations in the lens domain M . We apply the parqueting-reflection method for the domain to achieve the points of the complex plane. Then the Schwarz representation formula is constructed by the C-auchy–Pompeiu formula and an explicit solution for the Schwarz boundary value problem for the inhomogeneous Cauchy–Riemann equation on the domain is presented. We also discuss about the condition of solvability and by using the Schwarz boundary value problem, the homogeneous Ne-umann and the inhomogeneous Dirichlet boundary value problems are investigated.

Abstract:We make systematic developments on Lawson-Osserman constructions relating to the Dirichlet problem (over unit disks) for minimal surfaces of high codimension in their 1977' Acta paper. In particular, we show the existence of boundary functions for which infinitely many analytic solutions and at least one nonsmooth Lipschitz solution exist simultaneously. Abstract:For elliptic systems with block structure in the upper half-space and t-independent coefficients, we settle the study of boundary value problems by proving compatible well-posedness of Dirichlet, regularity and Neumann problems in optimal ranges of exponents. Prior to this work, only the two-dimensional situation was fully understood. In higher dimensions, partial results for existence in smaller ranges of exponents and for a subclass of such systems had been established. The presented uniqueness results are completely new. We also elucidate optimal ranges for problems with fractional regularity data. Methods use and improve, with some new results, all the machinery developed over the last two decades to study such problems: the Kato square root estimates and Riesz transforms, Hardy spaces associated to operators, off-diagonal estimates, non-tangential estimates and square functions and abstract layer potentials to replace fundamental solutions in the absence of local regularity of solutions. This self-contained monograph provides a comprehensive overview on the field and unifies many earlier results that have been obtained by a variety of methods.

A new Schwarz-Pick Lemma at the boundary and rigidity of holomorphic maps

Abstract:In this paper we establish several invariant boundary versions of the (infinitesimal) Schwarz-Pick lemma for conformal pseudometrics on the unit disk and for holomorphic selfmaps of strongly convex domains in $\mathbb C^N$ in the spirit of the boundary Schwarz lemma of Burns-Krantz. Firstly, we focus on the case of the unit disk and prove a general boundary rigidity theorem for conformal pseudometrics with variable curvature. In its simplest cases this result already includes new types of boundary versions of the lemmas of Schwarz-Pick, Ahlfors-Schwarz and Nehari-Schwarz. The proof is based on a new Harnack-type inequality as well as a boundary Hopf lemma for conformal pseudometrics which extend earlier interior rigidity results of Golusin, Heins, Beardon, Minda and others. Secondly, we prove similar rigidity theorems for sequences of conformal pseudometrics, which even in the interior case appear to be new. For instance, a first sequential version of the strong form of Ahlfors' lemma is obtained. As an auxiliary tool we establish a Hurwitz-type result about preservation of zeros of sequences of conformal pseudometrics. Thirdly, we apply the one-dimensional sequential boundary rigidity results together with a variety of techniques from several complex variables to prove a boundary version of the Schwarz-Pick lemma for holomorphic maps of strongly convex domains in $\mathbb C^N$ for $N>1$.

Abstract:We prove a sharp Schwarz type inequality for the Weierstrass- Enneper representation of the minimal surfaces. It states the following. If $F:\mathbf{D}\to \Sigma$ is a conformal harmonic parameterization of a minimal disk $\Sigma$, where $\mathbf{D}$ is the unit disk and $|\Sigma|=\pi R^2$, then $|F_x(z)|(1-|z|^2)\le R$. If for some $z$ the previous inequality is equality, then the surface is an affine disk, and $F$ is linear up to a Möbius transformation of the unit disk.

Abstract:For a family of domains in the Sierpinski gasket, we study harmonic functions of finite energy, characterizing them in terms of their boundary values, and study their normal derivatives on the boundary. We characterize those domains for which there is an extension operator for functions of finite energy. We give an explicit construction of the Green's function for these domains.

With the contribution of some fixed point theorems in cone and the corresponding Green function, we ensure sufficient conditions for the Hadamard fractional boundary value problem. Also, the paper concludes with two examples to demonstrate our results.
