Abstract:In the present paper, bilinear pseudo-differential operators with symbols in the bilinear Hörmander class $BS^m_{0,0}$ are considered. In particular, the boundedness of these operators on Sobolev spaces is established. Our main result is proved by using symbolic calculus and the boundedness of those operators with certain $S_{0,0}$-type symbols on Lebesgue spaces.

Abstract:Boundedness properties for pseudodifferential operators with symbols in the bilinear Hörmander classes of sufficiently negative order are proved. The results are obtained in the scale of Lebesgue spaces and, in some cases, end-point estimates involving weak-type spaces and BMO are provided as well. From the Lebesgue space estimates, Sobolev ones are then easily obtained using functional calculus and interpolation. In addition, it is shown that, in contrast with the linear case, operators associated with symbols of order zero may fail to be bounded on products of Lebesgue spaces.

Abstract:In this paper, we explore a specific class of bi-parameter pseudo-differential operators characterized by symbols $\sigma(x_1,x_2,\xi_1,\xi_2)$ falling within the product-type Hörmander {class} $\mathbf{S}^m_{\rho, \delta}$. This classification imposes constraints on the behavior of partial derivatives of $\sigma$ with respect to both spatial and frequency variables. Specifically, we demonstrate that for each multi-index $\alpha, \beta$, the inequality $| \partial_\xi^\alpha \partial_x^\beta \sigma(x_1,x_2,\xi_1,\xi_2)| \le C_{\alpha, \beta}(1+|\xi|)^m\prod_{i=1}^2 (1+|\xi_i|)^{-\rho|\alpha_i|+\delta|\beta_i|} $ is satisfied. Our investigation culminates in a rigorous analysis of the $L^p$-boundedness of such pseudo-differential operators, thereby extending the seminal findings of C. Fefferman from 1973 concerning pseudo-differential operators within the Hörmander class.

Abstract:For symbol $a\in S^{n(\rho-1)/2}_{\rho,1}$ the pseudo-differential operator $T_a$ may not be $L^2$ bounded. However, under some mild extra assumptions on $a$, we show that $T_a$ is bounded from $L^{\infty}$ to $BMO$ and on $L^p$ for $2\leq p<\infty$. A key ingredient in our proof of the $L^{\infty}$-$BMO$ boundedness is that we decompose a cube, use $x$-regularity of the symbol and combine certain $L^2$, $L^\infty$ and $L^{\infty}$-$BMO$ boundedness. We use an almost orthogonality argument to prove an $L^2$ boundedness and then interpolation to obtain the desired $L^p$ boundedness.

Abstract:Bilinear pseudodifferential operators with symbols in the bilinear analog of all the Hörmander classes are considered and the possibility of a symbolic calculus for the transposes of the operators in such classes is investigated. Precise results about which classes are closed under transposition and can be characterized in terms of asymptotic expansions are presented. This work extends the results for more limited classes studied before in the literature and, hence, allows the use of the symbolic calculus (when it exists) as an alternative way to recover the boundedness on products of Lebesgue spaces for the classes that yield operators with bilinear Calderón-Zygmund kernels. Some boundedness properties for other classes with estimates in the form of Leibniz' rule are presented as well.

$L^p$-bounds in Safarov pseudo-differential calculus on manifolds with bounded geometry

Abstract:Given a smooth complete Riemannian manifold with bounded geometry $(M,g)$ and a linear connection $\nabla$ on it (not necessarily a metric one), we prove the $L^p$-boundedness of operators belonging to the global pseudo-differential classes $\Psi_{\rho, \delta}^m\left(\Omega^\kappa, \nabla, \tau\right)$ constructed by Safarov. Our result recovers classical Fefferman's theorem, and extends it to the following two situations: $\rho>1/3$ and $\nabla$ symmetric; and $\nabla$ flat with any values of $\rho$ and $\delta$. Moreover, as a consequence of our main result, we obtain boundedness on Sobolev and Besov spaces and some $L^p-L^q$ boundedness. Different examples and applications are presented.

Abstract:In this paper, we investigate the boundedness of the multilinear pseudo-differential operator <math>Tσ</math>. First, we establish the local exponential decay estimates for <math>Tσ</math>. In terms of the corresponding commutators <math>Tσ,Σb</math>, we obtain the local subexponential decay estimates. Secondly, we derive the weighted mixed weak type inequality for <math>Tσ</math>, which parallels Sawyer's conjecture for Calderón-Zygmund operators and covers the endpoint weighted inequalities. Last but not least, we present the sharp weighted estimates for <math>Tσ</math> and <math>Tσ,Σb</math>. It is worth mentioning that our results are totally new even in the linear case.

Abstract:In this work, we introduce a global theory of subelliptic pseudo-differential operators on arbitrary homogeneous vector bundles over orientable compact homogeneous manifolds. We will show that a global pseudo-differential calculus can be associated to the operators acting on any pair of homogeneous vector-bundles with base space $M,$ if the compact Lie group $G$ that acts on $M=G/K$ is endowed with a (Riemannian or) sub-Riemannian structure. This is always possible if we choose on $G$ a sub-Laplacian associated to a Hörmander system of vector-fields or we fix the Laplace-Beltrami operator on $G$. We begin with developing a global subelliptic symbolic calculus for vector-valued pseudo-differential operators on $G$ and then, we show that this vector-valued calculus induces a pseudo-differential calculus on homogeneous vector bundles, which, among other things, is stable under the action of the complex functional calculus. We prove global versions of the Calderón-Vaillancourt theorem, Fefferman theorem and also, of the Gårding inequality. We present applications of the obtained Gårding inequality to the wellposedness of evolution problems. We characterise the classes of pseudo-differential operators on homogeneous vector bundles in the sense of Hörmander (which are defined by using local coordinate systems) in terms of their global symbols. Finally, using this formalism, we compute the global symbol of the exterior derivative, its adjoint, and the symbol of the Dirac operator on the vector bundle of differential forms. We hope that this work will provide a solid foundation for further research using the global quantisation of operators on (vector-bundles over) compact homogeneous manifolds.

Abstract:Let $1<q\le $ and . Besov–Bourgain–Morrey spaces in the special case where , extending what was introduced by J. Bourgain, have proved useful in the study related to the Strichartz estimate and the non-linear Schrödinger equation. In this article, by cleverly mixing the norm structures of grand Lebesgue spaces and Besov–Bourgain–Morrey spaces and adding an extra exponent , the authors introduce a new class of function spaces, called generalized grand Besov–Bourgain–Morrey spaces . The authors explore their various real-variable properties including pre-dual spaces and the Gagliardo–Peetre and the ± interpolation theorems. Via establishing some equivalent quasi-norms of related to Muckenhoupt -weights, the authors then obtain an extrapolation theorem of . Applying this extrapolation theorem, the Calderón product, and the sparse family of dyadic grids of , the authors establish the sharp boundedness on of the Hardy–Littlewood maximal operator, the fractional integral, and the Calderón–Zygmund operator.

We prove that the multilinear operators of finite sums of products of singular integrals on ℝ n are bounded from $H\ifmmode\expandafter\dot\else\expandafter\.\fi{K}^{{\alpha _{1} ,p_{1} }}_{{q1}} {\left( {\mathbb{R}^{n} } \right)}\times \cdots \times{\kern 1pt} H\ifmmode\expandafter\dot\else\expandafter\.\fi{K}^{{\alpha _{k} ,p_{k} }}_{{q_{k} }} {\left( {\mathbb{R}^{n} } \right)}$ into $H\ifmmode\expandafter\dot\else\expandafter\.\fi{K}^{{\alpha ,p}}_{q} {\left( {\mathbb{R}^{n} } \right)}$ if they have vanishing moments up to a certain order dictated by the target spaces. These conditions on vanishing moments satisfied by the multilinear operators are also necessary when αj≥ 0 and the singular integrals considered here include the Calderón-Zygmund singular integrals and the fractional integrals of any orders.
