Abstract:In a recent paper we have classified scalar Ito equations which admits a standard symmetry; these are also directly integrable by the Kozlov substitution. In the present work, we consider the diffusion (Fokker-Planck) equations associated to such symmetric Ito equations.

What problem does this paper attempt to address?
### What problem does the paper attempt to solve? The paper primarily explores the integrability and symmetry of Ito equations and their corresponding Fokker-Planck equations. Specifically: 1. **Classification of Ito Equations**: - The paper first reviews the classification work of Ito equations with standard symmetries, which can be integrated directly through Kozlov transformations. Recent studies have completely classified all scalar Ito equations with deterministic or random standard symmetries. 2. **Symmetry of Fokker-Planck Equations**: - For integrable Ito equations with non-trivial symmetries, it is natural to ask whether their corresponding Fokker-Planck equations also possess special symmetry properties. The authors investigated these equations and found that in some cases, although the Ito equation is integrable, its corresponding Fokker-Planck equation only has trivial symmetries. 3. **Specific Case Analysis**: - The paper provides a detailed analysis of several specific integrable Ito equations (i.e., equations with standard symmetries) and studies the symmetries of their corresponding Fokker-Planck equations. Particularly for equations of the form \( f(x,t) = h(t) + k(t)e^{\beta x} \), it was found that their corresponding Fokker-Planck equations only have trivial symmetries. Through these analyses, the paper reveals that the relationship between the integrability of Ito equations and the symmetry of their corresponding Fokker-Planck equations is not always intuitive, thereby providing new perspectives for further research.
