Abstract:We describe automorphisms and derivations of the incidence coalgebra $\text{Co}(X,F)$ of the partially ordered set $X$ over a field $F$. In this case, the fact is significantly used that the dual algebra of the coalgebra $\text{Co}(X,F)$ is isomorphic to the incidence algebra $I(X,F)$ of the partially ordered set $X$ over the field $F$.

Abstract:Let $I(X,R)$ be the incidence algebra of the preordered set $X$ over the ring $R$. In the case of a finite connected partially ordered set $X$, we prove that the subgroup of inner multiplicative automorphisms is a direct factor of the group of multiplicative automorphisms of the algebra $I(X,R)$. As a consequence, we obtain several matching criteria of the subgroup of inner multiplicative automorphisms with the group of multiplicative automorphisms.

Topological incidence rings and the incidence functors

Abstract:We focus on working on incidence rings, a class of (possibly infinite) matrix rings indexed by ordered sets. Some general properties about them are given, including how they are always the inverse limit of finite matrix rings, giving a natural way to define their topology. We then show that such construction can be translated as a functor from the category of locally finite, preordered sets to the category of (topological) incidence rings that maps colimits to limits. We also shortly discuss the consequences of these results to the class of groups of units of incidence rings, as the unit functor allow us to translate most of the results.

Abstract:In the first part of the paper we describe $\varphi$-derivations of the incidence algebra $I(X,K)$ of a locally finite poset $X$ over a field $K$, where $\varphi$ is an arbitrary automorphism of $I(X,K)$. We show that they admit decompositions similar to that of usual derivations of $I(X,K)$. In particular, the quotient of the space of $\varphi$-derivations of $I(X,K)$ by the subspace of inner $\varphi$-derivations of $I(X,K)$ is isomorphic to the first group of certain cohomology of $X$, which is developed in the second part of the paper.

In this paper we apply the theory of zero product determined algebras to show that each linear map on the incidence algebra I(X,R) which is derivable at zero is a generalized derivation and every local derivation on I(X,R) is a derivation.

Abstract:Let $X$ be a finite partially ordered set, $R$ an associative unital ring and $\sigma$ an endomorphism of $R$. We describe some properties of the skew incidence ring $I(X,R,\sigma)$ such as invertible elements, idempotents, the Jacobson radical and the center. Moreover, if the skew incidence rings $I(X,R,\sigma)$ and $I(Y,S,\tau)$ are isomorphic and the only idempotents of $R,S$ are the trivial ones, we show that the partially ordered sets $X$ and $Y$ are isomorphic.

Abstract:Let R be an associative ring and M be a left R -module. We introduce the concept of the incidence module I ( X , M ) of a locally finite partially ordered set X over M . We study the properties of I ( X , M ) and give the necessary and sufficient conditions for the incidence module to be an IN-module, EIN-module, nil injective module and nonsingular module, respectively. Furthermore, we show that the class of EIN-modules is closed under direct product and upper triangular matrix modules.

Abstract:Let $X$ be a finite connected poset, $K$ a field of characteristic zero and $I(X,K)$ the incidence algebra of $X$ over $K$ seen as a Lie algebra under the commutator product. In the first part of the paper we show that any $\frac{1}{2}$-derivation of $I(X,K)$ decomposes into the sum of a central-valued $\frac 12$-derivation, an inner $\frac{1}{2}$-derivation and a $\frac{1}{2}$-derivation associated with a map $\sigma:X^2_<\to K$ that is constant on chains and cycles in $X$. In the second part of the paper we use this result to prove that any transposed Poisson structure on $I(X,K)$ is the sum of a structure of Poisson type, a mutational structure and a structure determined by $\lambda:X^2_e\to K$, where $X^2_e$ is the set of $(x,y)\in X^2$ such that $x<y$ is a maximal chain not contained in a cycle.

Abstract:The algebraic monoid structure of an incidence algebra is investigated. We show that the multiplicative structure alone determines the algebra automorphisms of the incidence algebra. We present a formula that expresses the complexity of the incidence monoid with respect to the two sided action of its maximal torus in terms of the zeta polynomial of the poset. In addition, we characterize the finite (connected) posets whose incidence monoids have complexity <span class="mathjax-tex">$\le 1$</span>. Finally, we determine the covering relations of the adherence order on the incidence monoid of a star poset.

Abstract:We show that various classical theorems of real/complex linear incidence geometry, such as the theorems of Pappus, Desargues, Möbius, and so on, can be interpreted as special cases of a single "master theorem" that involves an arbitrary tiling of a closed oriented surface by quadrilateral tiles. This yields a general mechanism for producing new incidence theorems and generalizing the known ones.

Abstract:In this paper, we generalize ordinary derivation and Jordan derivation of a ring to the concepts of P-derivation and P-Jordan derivation of a ring respectively. Some properties, e.g. the composition of P-derivations and P-Jordan derivations, are given. Moreover, it proved that if R/P(R) is 2-torsion free for a ring R and its prime radical P(R), P-Jordan derivations of R are P-derivations. More mainly, some conclusions on the commutativity of R/I and R/P(R) are obtained via P-derivations and P-Jordan derivations, for a prime ideal I of R.

Abstract:A generalization of incidence relations in abstract polytope has been explored, and parameterized surfaces are used as primers. The abstract orientable incidence structure is defined as an algebraic model of incidence relations, in which some algebraic properties in abtract polytope theory are generalized. The geometric interpretation of abstract orientable incidence structure are also discussed. The orientable incidence structure in a semi-regular normal CW complex are briefly investigated.

Abstract:Let P a locally finite partially ordered set, F a field, G a group, and I(P,F) the incidence algebra of P over F. We describe all the inequivalent elementary G-gradings on this algebra. If P is bounded, F is a infinite field of characteristic zero, and A, B are both elementary G-graded incidence algebras satisfying the same G-graded polynomial identities, and the automorphisms group of P acts transitively on the maximal chains of P , we show that A and B are graded isomorphic.
