Abstract:We calculate some infinite sums containing the digamma function in closed-form. These sums are related either to the incomplete beta function or to the Bessel functions. The calculations yield interesting new results as by-products, such as parameter differentiation formulas for the beta incomplete function, reduction formulas of $_{3}F_{2}$ hypergeometric functions, or a definite integral which does not seem to be tabulated in the most common literature. As an application of some sums involving the digamma function, we have calculated some redution formulas for the parameter differentiation of the Mittag-Leffler function and the Wright function.

What problem does this paper attempt to address?
This paper attempts to solve the problem of summing infinite series related to the digamma function and explore the connections between these series and the incomplete Beta function and Bessel function. Specifically, the main objectives of the paper include: 1. **Derive new digamma - function - related series**: The author uses the derivatives of the Pochhammer symbol and the known reduction formulas of the generalized hypergeometric function to derive some new closed - form solutions for infinite series involving the digamma function. 2. **Calculate the parametric derivatives of the incomplete Beta function**: By deriving the derivatives of the incomplete Beta function \(B_z(a, b)\) with respect to the parameters \(a\) and \(b\), the author obtains some new expressions. These results not only extend the formulas in the existing literature but also provide some new integral formulas that are not recorded in common literature. 3. **Calculate the order derivatives of the Bessel function and the modified Bessel function**: The author uses the properties of the digamma function to derive series expressions related to the order derivatives of the Bessel function and the modified Bessel function. 4. **Apply to the parametric derivatives of special functions**: As an application of the above - mentioned series derivations, the author calculates the reduction formulas for the derivatives of the Wright function and the Mittag - Leffler function with respect to the parameters. These formulas are of great significance for understanding the properties of these special functions and their applications in mathematical physics. ### Main contributions - **New digamma function series**: The paper derives multiple new infinite series involving the digamma function, which are related to the incomplete Beta function and the Bessel function. - **Derivatives of the incomplete Beta function**: Provides new expressions for the derivatives of the incomplete Beta function with respect to the parameters, which are helpful for further studying the properties of the incomplete Beta function. - **Derivatives of the Bessel function**: Gives series expressions for the order derivatives of the Bessel function and the modified Bessel function, and these results are of important value both in theory and application. - **Derivatives of the Wright function and the Mittag - Leffler function**: By applying the series results of the digamma function, derives the reduction formulas for the derivatives of the Wright function and the Mittag - Leffler function with respect to the parameters, and these formulas are widely used in fractional - order calculus and the theory of special functions. ### Conclusion The paper systematically derives and verifies a series of infinite series involving the digamma function, which not only extends the existing mathematical tools but also provides new methods and results for studying the properties of the incomplete Beta function, the Bessel function, as well as the Wright function and the Mittag - Leffler function. These achievements have important theoretical and application values in fields such as mathematical analysis, physics, and engineering.
