Abstract:Einstein's program of the unified field theory transformed nowadays to the TOE requiring new primordial elements and relations between them. Definitely, they must be elements of the quantum nature. One of most fundamental quantum elements are pure quantum states. Their basic relations are defined by the geometry of the complex projective Hilbert space. In the framework of such geometry all physical concepts should be formulated and derived in the natural way. Analysis following this logic shows that inertia and inertial forces are originated not in space-time but it the space of quantum states since they are generated by the deformation of quantum states as a reaction on an external interaction or self-interaction. In particular, inertia law generalized by Einstein during development of general relativity (GR) will be expressed in intrinsic quantum terms. It is assumed that quantum formulation of the inertia law should clarify the old problem of inertial mass (dynamical mass generation). The conservation of energy-momentum following form this law has been applied to self-interacting quantum Dirac's electron.

Abstract:In this paper we present the two-parameter dynamics which is implied by the law of inertia in flat spacetime. A remarkable perception is that (A)dS4 geometry may emerge from the two-parameter dynamics, which exhibits some phenomenon of dynamics/ geometry correspondence. We also discuss the Unruh effects within the context of two-parameter dynamics. In the last section we construct various invariant actions with respect to the broken symmetry groups.

Abstract:We show that gravitational mass and inertial mass are correlated by an adimentional factor, which in specific electromagnetic conditions, can be reduced, nullified, negated, and increased. Some theoretical consequences of the mentioned correlation are: the generalization of Newton=92s second law for the motion (New law for Inertia); the deduction of the differential equation for entropy (second law of Thermodynamics); unification of gravitational and electromagnetic interactions .

Abstract:All energy is gravitational energy. That is the consequence of the equivalence principle, according to which gravity is the universal interaction. The physical charges of this interaction have remained undisclosed, but the Adventof the Geometrical Trinity opened a new approach to this foundational problem. Here it is shown to provide a background-independent unification of the previous, non-covariant approaches of Bergmann-Thomson, Cooperstock, Einstein, von Freud, Landau-Lifshitz, Papapetrou and Weinberg. First, the Noether currents are derived for a generic Palatini theory of gravity coupled with generic matter fields, and then the canonical i.e. the unique charges are robustly derived and analysed, particularly in the metric teleparallel and the symmetric teleparallel versions of General Relativity. These results, and their application to black holes and gravitational waves, are new.

Abstract:We show that the dynamical common core of the recently-discovered non-relativistic geometric trinity of gravity is Maxwell gravitation. Moreover, we explain why no analogous distinct dynamical common core exists in the case of the better-known relativistic geometric trinity of gravity.

Abstract:In this paper, the local inertial coordinate system is calculated through coordinate transformations from laboratory coordinate system. We derived the same free falling equations as those in General Relativity. However, the definitions of second and higher order covariant derivatives are different. Our results are different from the classic view of the principle of equivalence, and suggest that all the laws of physics in gravitational field can be given by doing coordinate transformations from local inertial coordinate system to lab coordinate system.

Abstract:The geometric trinity of gravity comprises three distinct formulations of general relativity: (i) the standard formulation describing gravity in terms of spacetime curvature, (ii) the teleparallel equivalent of general relativity describing gravity in terms of spacetime torsion, and (iii) the symmetric teleparallel equivalent of general relativity (STEGR) describing gravity in terms of spacetime non-metricity. In this article, we complete a geometric trinity of non-relativistic gravity, by (a) taking the non-relativistic limit of STEGR to determine its non-relativistic analogue, and (b) demonstrating that this non-metric theory is equivalent to the Newton--Cartan theory and its teleparallel equivalent, i.e., the curvature and the torsion based non-relativistic theories that are both geometrised versions of classical Newtonian gravity.

Abstract:A specific form of the inertial law is presented by which we can have some deeper insight into the essence of mass and inertia. In this modified theory, there is no need to keep the concept of absolute space and Newton's third law as principles. By introducing a convenient form for gravitational law the coupling constant G becomes a function of inertial parameters of the universe.
Unification of the Fundamental Forces in Higher-Order Riemannian Geometry

Abstract:In Part I of the present series of papers, we adumbrate our idea of Riemannian geometry to higher order in the infinitesimals and derive expressions for the appropriate generalizations of parallel transport and the Riemannian curvature tensor. In Part II, the implications of higher-order geometry for the general theory of relativity beyond Einstein are developed. In the present Part III, we expand on the framework of Part II so as to take up the problem of field-theoretical unification. Employing the form of the Einstein-Hilbert action to higher order as proposed in Part II, we show how in nearly flat space the higher-order terms give rise to a gauge theory of Yang-Mills type. At the 2-jet level, the electroweak force emerges after imposition of gauge fixing. In fact, the proposed form of the Einstein-Hilbert action permits us to say more: we argue that the equivalence principle results in a Proca term that brings about the spontaneous symmetry breaking of the standard model. Two empirical predictions support our reasoning: first, we obtain a theoretical value for the Weinberg angle and second, we find that -- without any adjustable parameters -- the implied value of Coulomb's constant agrees well with experiment. The final section examines the 3-jet level. The same mechanism that produces Glashow-Weinberg-Salam electroweak theory at the 2-jet level eventuates in a chromodynamical force having $SU(3)$ symmetry at the 3-jet level.

Abstract:An important methodological problem of theoretical mechanics related to inertia is discussed. Analysis Inertia is performed in four-dimensional Minkowski space-time based on the law of conservation of energy-momentum. This approach allows us to combine the laws of conservation of momentum and angular momentum into a single law and separate the forces of inertia that actually exist in nature from the imaginary forces introduced to simplify calculations or arising from the transition from one frame of reference to another. From the energy-momentum tensor, in a non-relativistic approximation, the equation of balance of inertia forces existing in nature for a moving continuous medium and a material point in an inertial frame of reference is obtained. It follows from this equation that the pseudo-Euclidean geometry of our world plays an important role in the manifestation of inertia forces. The tensor and the balance equations of all inertia forces in a continuous medium a moving with angular acceleration are obtained. This allows uniform formulation and presentation of the original categories and concepts of classical and relativistic mechanics in educational and scientific literature within the framework of the current paradigm.
Einstein General Relativity In Bi-metric Spacetime Contains Exponential Metrics Which Dynamically Preserve Bi-metric "Light Cone Causality"

Abstract:It is well known that Einstein General Relativity can be expressed covariantly in bi-metric spacetime, without the uncertainties which arise from the effects of gravitational energy-momentum pseudo-tensors. However the effect that the Strong Principle of Equivalence (SPOE) has on the curved and flat bi-metric spacetime tetrad structure has not been fully explored. In the context of bi-metric General Relativity the (SPOE) requires that: a) in the absence of gravitation due to spacetime curvature a Global Inertial Cartesian Minkowski (GICM) spacetime frame exists in which Special Relativity is valid and, b) in the presence of gravitation due to spacetime curvature a bi-metric Local Free Fall frame (LFF) must always exist. These two conditions required by the (SPOE) are then shown to imply that a symmetric gravitational potential tensor must exist in the bi-metric spacetime which is connected exponentially to the tetrad inner product between the curved symmetric tetrads and the flat background symmetric tetrads. It is then shown that this (SPOE) generated gravitational potential tensor has the property of exponentially connecting the curved metric tensor with the flat background metric tensor in a manner which allows the condition of "Light Cone Causality" (LCC) to be dynamically satisfied in the bi-metric spacetime. Substitution of this (LCC) conserving exponential metric into the bi-metric Einstein field equations, subject to an appropriate choice of tensor gauge conditions, yields an equivalent set of (LCC) conserving bi-metric Einstein field equations for the gravitational potential tensor, the full implications of which will be explored in future papers.

Abstract:Universal gravitation is investigated with principles of foundational classical physics. It is revealed that six force constants fully define gravitation; they comprise: i) a waveform torque field which rotates the gravitating envelope; ii) an inverted angular momentum field that expands the envelope to void collapse of constituents; iii) a centripetal acceleration force field that balances the expansion to fix separation of constituents; iv) a matter-wave torque field that reinforces the rotational moment exponentially; v) a Galilean gravitational (centripetal) acceleration field, and vi) nuclear inverse mass-squared centripetal (gravitational) acceleration force field attributable to the strong nuclear force. The inertial rest frame constants sum up to yield observational G and account for ca. 45 degrees inclination of gravitating bogies. An attempt is made to account for angular momentum quantization and rectilinear, parabolic or elliptical tracks of bodies in gravitational free fall. Photon only is implicated in gravitational acceleration, it is thus argued that gravity is not quantized beyond the photonic graviton.
Unified formalism for the emergence of space in non-equilibrium description

Abstract:Previous studies indicate that the expansion law in emergence of space can be derived from the first law f thermodynamics. It has been proposed a unified formulation for the expansion law applicable to a general set of gravity theories in equilibrium description. In that formulation, which is based on the first law of thermodynamics, the non-equilibrium terms are ignored. Additionally, the structure of surface degrees of freedom in that formulation deviates from the standard notion, where $N_{sur} \ne 4S$ in general theories of gravity. This motivates us to develop a new unified formulation for the expansion law by incorporating non-equilibrium terms into the first law of thermodynamics. In this work, we formulate a unified expansion law in a non-equilibrium context, utilizing the first law of thermodynamics along with the definition of an effective Misner-Sharp energy. Compared to previous generalizations of the expansion law, our formulation reconciles the basic definition of surface degrees of freedom $N_{sur} = 4S$ for a general set of gravity theories. The unified expansion law in non-equilibrium not only highlights the direct relationship between the rate of areal volume and the difference in degrees of freedom between the surface and bulk $(N_{sur}-N_{bulk})$, but also reveals an inverse correlation with the density of surface degrees of freedom. We also demonstrate that the unified expansion law is instrumental in deriving the expansion law for a general set of gravity theories, including those with higher-order curvature corrections such as $f(R)$ theories of gravity, which require a non-equilibrium description.

Unit Invariance as a Unifying Principle of Physics

Abstract:A basic principle of physics is the freedom to locally choose any unit system when describing physical quantities. Its implementation amounts to treating Weyl invariance as a fundamental symmetry of all physical theories. In this thesis, we study the consequences of this "unit invariance" principle and find that it is a unifying one. Unit invariance is achieved by introducing a gauge field called the scale, designed to measure how unit systems vary from point to point. In fact, by a uniform and simple Weyl invariant coupling of scale and matter fields, we unify massless, massive, and partially massless excitations. As a consequence, masses now dictate the response of physical quantities to changes of scale. This response is calibrated by certain "tractor Weyl weights". Reality of these weights yield Breitenlohner-Freedman stability bounds in anti de Sitter spaces. Another valuable outcome of our approach is a general mechanism for constructing conformally invariant theories. In particular, we provide direct derivations of the novel Weyl invariant Deser--Nepomechie vector and spin three-half theories as well as new higher spin generalizations thereof. To construct these theories, a "tractor calculus" coming from conformal geometry is employed, which keeps manifest Weyl invariance at all stages. In fact, our approach replaces the usual Riemannian geometry description of physics with a conformal geometry one. Within the same framework, we also give a description of fermionic and interacting supersymmetric theories which again unifies massless and massive excitations.

Abstract:This work includes two new results - principally two new constants of motion for the linearised restricted 3-body problem (e.g. for the Trojan asteroids) and an important isosceles triangle generalisation of Lagrange's equilateral triangle solution of the restricted case leading to hidden constants for Hildans as well as Trojans. Both of these results are classical, but we also have included new results on Newtonian quantum gravity emanating from the asymptotics relevant for WIMPish particles, explaining the origin of systems like that of the Trojans. The latter result uses a generalisation of our semi-classical mechanics for Schrödinger equations involving vector as well as scalar potentials, presented here for the first time, thereby providing an acid test of our ideas in predicting the quantum curvature and torsion of WIMPish trajectories for our astronomical elliptic states. The combined effect is to give a new celestial mechanics for WIMPs in gravitational systems as well as new results for classical problems. As we shall explain, we believe these results could help to see how spiral galaxies evolve into elliptical ones. A simple classical consequence of our isosceles triangle result gives a Keplerian type $4^{\textrm{th}}$ Law for 3-body problems. This is confined to the Appendix.

Abstract:Erik Verlinde recently proposed an idea about the thermodynamic origin of gravity. Though this is a beautiful idea which may resolve many long standing problems in the theories of gravity, it also raises many other problems. In this article I will comment on some of the problems of Verlinde's proposal with special emphasis on the thermodynamical origin of the principle of relativity. It is found that there is a large group of hidden symmetries of thermodynamics which contains the Poincare group of the spacetime for which space is emergent. This explains the thermodynamic origin of the principle of relativity.

The controversial NP constants are introduced, and their meaning is considered in a new light related to the problem of equations of motion in GR.
