Abstract:Detection of entanglement through partial knowledge of the quantum state is a challenge to implement efficiently. Here we propose a separability criterion for detecting bipartite entanglement in arbitrary dimensional quantum states using partial moments of the realigned density matrix. Our approach enables detection of both distillable and bound entangled states through a common framework. We illustrate the efficiency of our method through examples of states belonging to both the above categories, which are not detectable using comparable other schemes relying on partial state information. The formalism of employing partial realigned moments proposed here is further shown to be effective for two-qubit systems too, with a slight modification of our separability criterion.

### Problems the Paper Attempts to Solve This paper aims to propose a new computable entanglement detection method for detecting entanglement in bipartite quantum systems of arbitrary dimensions. Specifically, the authors formulate a separability criterion through the moments of the realigned matrix, which can effectively detect both bound entangled states (BES) and distillable entangled states. Additionally, this method outperforms existing partial information-based methods in certain cases for detecting non-positive partial transpose (NPT) entangled states in high-dimensional systems. #### Main Contributions: 1. **Proposing a New Separability Criterion**: Based on the realigned moments, a new separability criterion is proposed, which can effectively detect entangled states in high-dimensional bipartite systems. 2. **Detection of Different Types of Entangled States**: This method can detect not only NPT entangled states but also BES, which is challenging for many existing methods. 3. **Experimental Feasibility**: The method is not only theoretically feasible but also experimentally operable, achievable through partial measurements of quantum states. #### Methodology: - **Realigned Moments**: Entanglement detection is performed using the moments of the Hermitian matrix obtained by applying the realignment operation. - **Separability Inequality**: The proposed separability criterion is formalized as an inequality. If a quantum state violates this inequality, it indicates that the state is entangled. #### Experimental Verification: - **Instance Analysis**: The effectiveness and superiority of the method are demonstrated through several specific examples, especially in detecting NPT entangled states in high-dimensional systems. - **Comparative Analysis**: Compared with other partial moment-based methods, the new method is shown to have advantages in certain cases. #### Application Scope: - **High-Dimensional Systems**: Applicable to bipartite quantum systems of arbitrary dimensions. - **Experimental Implementation**: The method can be implemented through partial measurements of quantum states, making it practically valuable.
