Abstract:Nearly 700 fast radio burst (FRB) sources have been detected till now, among which 29 FRBs are found to burst out repeatedly. Although a firm connection between at least some FRBs and magnetars has been established, the trigger mechanism and radiation process in these enigma phenomena are still highly controversial. In this study, we build a sample of 16 repeating FRBs from which at least five bursts have been detected, including the most active four repeaters of FRBs 20121102A, 20180916B, 20190520B and 20201124A. Various key parameters of their bursts are collected from the literature, which include the arrival time, pulse width, dispersion measure (DM), Faraday rotation measure (RM), bandwidth, waiting time, peak flux and fluence. The distribution and time evolution of these parameters are investigated. Potential correlations between various parameter pairs are also extensively explored. The behaviors of different repeaters are then compared. It is found that the DM of FRB 20121102A seems to increase continuously on a long timescale. While the DM of most repeaters varies in a narrow range of $\pm 3$ cm$^{-3}$ pc, FRB 20190520B is found to have a large variation range of $\pm 12$ cm$^{-3}$ pc. RM evolves with time in a much more chaos behavior in different repeaters. A linear correlation is found between the absolute mean RM and $\rm {DM}_{Host}$, which may provide a method to estimate the redshift of FRBs. Generally, the waiting time shows a similar bimodal distribution for the active repeating sources. The implications of these features to the underlying physics are discussed.

What problem does this paper attempt to address?
The problem that this paper attempts to solve is about the nature of fast radio bursts (FRBs) and their triggering mechanisms. Specifically, by analyzing a set of repetitively bursting FRBs, the paper aims to explore the following aspects: 1. **Distribution and Temporal Evolution of Key Parameters of Repetitive FRBs**: The paper collected data on multiple key parameters of 16 repetitive FRBs, including arrival time, pulse width, dispersion measure (DM), Faraday rotation measure (RM), bandwidth, waiting time, peak flux, and total flux. Through the study of the distribution and temporal evolution of these parameters, the author hopes to reveal the behavioral characteristics of repetitive FRBs. 2. **Behavior Comparison between Different Repetitive FRBs**: The paper compared the behaviors of different repetitive FRBs, especially their differences in parameters such as DM and RM. For example, the DM of FRB 20121102A seems to keep increasing on a long - time scale, while the DM variation range of most repetitive FRBs is relatively narrow, about ±3 cm\(^{-3}\) pc, but the DM variation range of FRB 20190520B is relatively large, about ±12 cm\(^{-3}\) pc. 3. **Potential Correlations between Parameters**: The paper explored the potential correlations between various pairs of parameters, especially the linear correlation between the absolute average RM and the host galaxy DM, which may provide a method for estimating the redshift of FRBs. 4. **Waiting - Time Distribution of Repetitive FRBs**: The paper found that the waiting time of active repetitive FRB sources usually shows a bimodal distribution, which provides clues for further understanding the physical mechanisms of FRBs. Through the above - mentioned analysis, the paper hopes to provide useful guidance for future observational strategies and modeling of repetitive FRBs and deepen the understanding of the nature of FRBs.
