Abstract:We use the Atiyah-Bott-Segal-Singer Lefschetz fixed point formula to calculate the Hirzebruch ?y genus Xy(S[n]), where S[n] is the Hilbert scheme of points of length n of a surface S. Combinatorial interpretation of the weights of the fixed points of the natural torus action on ( 2)[n] is used. This is the first step to prove a conjectural formula about the elliptic genus of the Hilbert schemes.

Abstract:In this paper we use Kuperberg's -webs and Khovanov's -foams to define a new algebra , which we call the -web algebra. It is the analogue of Khovanov's arc algebra. We prove that is a graded symmetric Frobenius algebra. Furthermore, we categorify an instance of -skew Howe duality, which allows us to prove that is Morita equivalent to a certain cyclotomic KLR-algebra of level 3. This allows us to determine the split Grothendieck group , to show that its center is isomorphic to the cohomology ring of a certain Spaltenstein variety, and to prove that is a graded cellular algebra.

Abstract:We describe the rank 3 Temperley-Lieb-Martin algebras in terms of Kuperberg's A_2-webs. We define consistent labelings of webs, and use them to describe the coefficients of decompositions into irreducible webs. We introduce web immanants, inspired by Temperley-Lieb immanants of Rhoades and Skandera. We show that web immanants are positive when evaluated on totally positive matrices, and describe some further properties.
Residue formula for flag manifold of type $A$ from wall-crossing

Abstract:We consider equivariant integrals on flag manifolds of type $A$. Using a computational method inspired by the theory of wall-crossing formulas by Takuro Mochizuki, we re-prove residue formulas for equivariant integrals given by Weber and Zielenkiewicz. As an application, we give the determinantal formula of the Grothendieck polynomial by properly setting $K$ theory classes.

Abstract:The theory of motivic superpolynomials is developed, including its extension to algebraic links, relations to $L$-functions of plane curve singularities, the justification of the motivic versions of Weak Riemann Hypothesis and DAHA recurrences for iterated torus links. The DAHA construction is provided. Applications are considered to affine Springer fibers and compactified Jacobians of type $A_n$ in the most general case (for arbitrary characteristic polynomials), rho-invariants of algebraic knots, motivic formulas for the DAHA-Jones polynomials, including the case of $A_1$. The key theme is the conjectural coincidence of motivic superpolynomials with the DAHA ones, which can be interpreted as a far-reaching generalization of the Shuffle Conjecture. The 2nd connection conjecture links the superpolynomials to the $L$-functions. DAHA theory is adjusted to the definition and main properties of superpolynomials. The motivic tools are systematically exposed, a certain unification of Schubert Calculus with the theory of plane curve singularities.

Abstract:We prove a graph theoretic closed formula for coefficients in the Tian-Yau-Zelditch asymptotic expansion of the Bergman kernel. The formula is expressed in terms of the characteristic polynomial of the directed graphs representing Weyl invariants. The proof relies on a combinatorial interpretation of a recursive formula due to M. Engliš and A. Loi.

Abstract:The A-polynomial encodes hyperbolic geometric information on knots and related manifolds. Historically, it has been difficult to compute, and particularly difficult to determine A-polynomials of infinite families of knots. Here, we compute A-polynomials by starting with a triangulation of a manifold, then using symplectic properties of the Neumann-Zagier matrix encoding the gluings to change the basis of the computation. The result is a simplification of the defining equations. We apply this method to families of manifolds obtained by Dehn filling, and show that the defining equations of their A-polynomials are Ptolemy equations which, up to signs, are equations between cluster variables in the cluster algebra of the cusp torus.

Abstract:We provide a finite dimensional categorification of the symmetric evaluation of $\mathfrak{sl}_N$-webs using foam technology. As an output we obtain a symmetric link homology theory categorifying the link invariant associated to symmetric powers of the standard representation of $\mathfrak{sl}_N$. In addition, the construction is actually made in an equivariant setting. We prove also that there is a spectral sequence from the Khovanov-Rozansky triply graded link homology to the symmetric one and provide along the way a foam interpretation of Soergel bimodules.

A Molev-Sagan type formula for double Schubert polynomials

Abstract:We give a Molev-Sagan type formula for computing the product $\mathfrak{S}_u(x;y)\mathfrak{S}_v(x;z)$ of two double Schubert polynomials in different sets of coefficient variables where the descents of $u$ and $v$ satisfy certain conditions that encompass Molev and Sagan's original case and conjecture positivity in the general case. Additionally, we provide a Pieri formula for multiplying an arbitrary double Schubert polynomial $\mathfrak{S}_u(x;y)$ by a factorial elementary symmetric polynomial $E_{p,k}(x;z)$. Both formulas remain positive in terms of the negative roots when we set $y=z$, so in particular this gives a new equivariant Littlewood-Richardson rule for the Grassmannian, and more generally a positive formula for multiplying a factorial Schur polynomial $s_{\lambda}(x_1,\ldots,x_m;y)$ by a double Schubert polynomial $\mathfrak{S}_v(x_1,\ldots,x_p;y)$ such that $m\geq p$. An additional new result we present is a combinatorial proof of a conjecture of Kirillov of nonnegativity of the coefficients of skew Schubert polynomials, and we conjecture a weight-preserving bijection between a modification of certain diagrams used in our formulas and RC-graphs/pipe dreams arising in formulas for double Schubert polynomials.

Abstract:It is known that the etale cohomology of a potentially good abelian variety over a local field K is determined by its Euler factors over the extensions of K. We extend this to all abelian varieties, show that it is enough to take extensions where A is semistable, and give a uniform version over p-adic fields where the extensions are the same for all abelian varieties of a given dimension. The results are explicit, and apply to a wide class of Weil-Deligne representations.

A Moebius inversion formula to discard tangled hyperbolic surfaces

Abstract:Recent literature on Weil-Petersson random hyperbolic surfaces has met a consistent obstacle: the necessity to condition the model, prohibiting certain rare geometric patterns (which we call tangles), such as short closed geodesics or embedded surfaces of short boundary length. The main result of this article is a Moebius inversion formula, allowing to integrate the indicator function of the set of tangle-free surfaces in a systematic, tractable way. It is inspired by a key step of Friedman's celebrated proof of Alon's conjecture. We further prove that our tangle-free hypothesis significantly reduces the number of local topological types of short geodesics, replacing the exponential proliferation observed on tangled surfaces by a polynomial growth.

Abstract:We prove a formula for the multiplication of equivariant first Chern classes of tautological bundles of type A bow varieties with respect to the stable envelope basis. This formula naturally generalizes the classical Chevalley--Monk formula and can be formulated in terms of creating crossings of skein type diagrams that label the stable envelope basis.

Abstract:Generalizing the polynomial web category, we introduce a diagrammatic $\Bbbk$-linear monoidal category, the affine web category, for any commutative ring $\Bbbk$. Integral bases consisting of elementary diagrams are obtained for the affine web category and its cyclotomic quotient categories. Connections between cyclotomic web categories and finite $W$-algebras are established, leading to a diagrammatic presentation of idempotent subalgebras of $W$-Schur algebras introduced by Brundan-Kleshchev. The affine web category will be used as a basic building block of another $\Bbbk$-linear monoidal category, the affine Schur category, formulated in a sequel.

Counting stringy points on a family of character varieties

Abstract:We provided explicit formulas for the number of stringy points over finite fields of parabolic type A character varieties with generic semisimple monodromy. This leads to formulas for their stringy E-polynomials. In particular, they satisfy the Betti Topological Mirror Symmetry Conjecture of T. Hausel and M. Thaddeus, as well as a refinement regarding isotypic components. Our proof is based on a Frobenius' type formula for Clifford's type settings and an analysis of it in a specific set-up related to regular wreath products with cyclic groups.

Abstract:In this paper, we prove a formula, realizing certain residual Eisenstein series on symplectic groups as regularized kernel integrals. These Eisenstein series, as well as the kernel integrals, are attached to Speh representations. This forms an initial step to a new type of a regularized Siegel-Weil formula that we propose. This new formula bears the same relation to the generalized doubling integrals of Cai, Friedberg, Ginzburg and Kaplan, as does the regularized Siegel-Weil formula to the doubling integrals of Piatetski-Shapiro and Rallis.

Some Lê-Greuel type formulae on stratified spaces

Abstract:We extend the circle of ideas from a previous paper on hypersurfaces to functions $f \colon (\mathbb C^n, 0) \to (\mathbb C^k, 0)$ with an isolated singularity in a stratified sense on an arbitrary, but fixed complex analytic germ $(X, 0)$. An extension of Tib{\u a}r's Bouquet Theorem to this setup allows for a topological definition of Milnor numbers $\mu(\alpha; f)$ for each stratum $V^\alpha$ of $X$ and we prove several formulas which compute these numbers as (alternating) sums of certain ``homological indices''. The main technical result at work in the background is a local Riemann-Roch type theorem, relating a topological obstruction to holomorphic Euler characteristics.
