An Analysis into the Value of Labor Education for Primary and Middle School Students

Abstract:Labor education for the youth has been under heated discussion among educators both at home and abroad for ages.However,there are two extremities in Chinese labor education,i.e.,"To replace educa- tion with labor"in the past and"To replace labor with study"at present.I think,which is naturally linked to bias and indifference towards it of the masses.This paper proposes that labor education in primary and mid- dle schools is undoubtedly imperative,and its value should regain the attention of the whole society in improv- ing and promoting intelligence,morality,aesthetic ability of students and integration of society.
