Abstract:Immune rejection is a common complication after kidney transplantation and is divided into 2 main types: T-cell-mediated rejection and antibody-mediated rejection. Immune rejection has an important impact on the longevity of the graft, and generally, the occurrence of immune rejection is associated with an increase in graft loss; therefore, the long-term application of immunosuppressive agents in the postoperative period is essential to reduce the occurrence of rejection. With the improvement of medical technology, the occurrence of kidney transplantation complications has been gradually reduced, but graft failure due to rejection still exists. AR is an immune rejection that occurs in the early postoperative period after kidney transplantation, which seriously affects the patient's postoperative quality of life and the graft lifespan, and its occurrence is mainly due to the mismatch of human leukocyte antigens (HLA) between recipients and donors. Therefore, early prediction of whether acute rejection occurs after kidney transplantation is crucial.
