Abstract:We introduce Feynman-like rules to compute quivers for two loops and higher for the coloured planar $\phi^3$ theory for winding number zero. We demonstrate this for a few cases.

Abstract:We study four-dimensional $\mathcal N=2$ superconformal circular, cyclic symmetric quiver theories which are planar equivalent to $\mathcal N=4$ super Yang-Mills. We use localization to compute nonplanar corrections to the free energy and the circular half-BPS Wilson loop in these theories for an arbitrary number of nodes, and examine their behaviour in the limit of long quivers. Exploiting the relationship between the localization quiver matrix integrals and an integrable Bessel operator, we find a closed-form expression for the leading nonplanar correction to both observables in the limit when the number of nodes and 't Hooft coupling become large. We demonstrate that it has different asymptotic behaviour depending on how the two parameters are compared, and interpret this behaviour in terms of properties of a lattice model defined on the quiver diagram.

Abstract:This paper introduces two operations in quiver gauge theories. The first operation takes a quiver with a permutation symmetry $S_n$ and gives a quiver with adjoint loops. The corresponding 3d $\mathcal{N}=4$ Coulomb branches are related by an orbifold of $S_n$. The second operation takes a quiver with $n$ nodes connected by edges of multiplicity $k$ and replaces them by $n$ nodes of multiplicity $qk$. The corresponding Coulomb branch moduli spaces are related by an orbifold of type $\mathbb{Z}_q^{n-1}$. The first operation generalises known cases that appeared in the literature. These two operations can be combined to generate new relations between moduli spaces that are constructed using the magnetic construction.

Abstract:We study the dual constructions of quantum loop groups and Feigin-Odesskii type shuffle algebras for an arbitrary quiver, for which the arrow parameters are arbitrary non-zero elements of any field. Examples of our setup include $K$-theoretic Hall algebras of quivers with 0 potential, quantum loop groups of Kac-Moody type and quiver quantum toroidal algebras.

Abstract:We explore the relationship between four-dimensional N=2 quantum field theories and their associated BPS quivers. For a wide class of theories including super-Yang-Mills theories, Argyres-Douglas models, and theories defined by M5-branes on punctured Riemann surfaces, there exists a quiver which implicitly characterizes the field theory. We study various aspects of this correspondence including the quiver interpretation of flavor symmetries, gauging, decoupling limits, and field theory dualities. In general a given quiver describes only a patch of the moduli space of the field theory, and a key role is played by quantum mechanical dualities, encoded by quiver mutations, which relate distinct quivers valid in different patches. Analyzing the consistency conditions imposed on the spectrum by these dualities results in a powerful and novel mutation method for determining the BPS states. We apply our method to determine the BPS spectrum in a wide class of examples, including the strong coupling spectrum of super-Yang-Mills with an ADE gauge group and fundamental matter, and trinion theories defined by M5-branes on spheres with three punctures.

The loop equations for noncommutative geometries on quivers

Abstract:We define a path integral over Dirac operators that averages over noncommutative geometries on a fixed graph, as the title reveals, using quiver representations. We prove algebraic relations that are satisfied by the expectation value of the respective observables, computed in terms of integrals over unitary groups, with weights defined by the spectral action. These equations generalise the Makeenko-Migdal equations -- the constraints of lattice gauge theory -- from lattices to arbitrary graphs. As a perspective, our loop equations are combined with positivity conditions (on a matrix parametrised by composition of Wilson loops). On a simple quiver this combination known as `bootstrap' is fully worked out. The respective partition function boils down to an integral known as Gross-Witten-Wadia model; their solution confirms the solution bootstrapped by our loop equations.

Abstract:The well-known Loday-Quillen-Tsygan theorem calculates the Lie algebra homology of the infinite general linear Lie algebra $\mathfrak{gl}(A)$ over an unital associative algebra $A$. We generalize the Loday-Quillen-Tsygan theorem to an infinite Lie algebra associated with a (framed) quiver, where we assign to each vertex $v$ an infinite general linear Lie algebra $\mathfrak{gl}(A_v)$, to each edge $e$ an infinite matrix module and to each framed vertex a (anti)-fundamental representation. Given this data, each loop or path ending on framed vertices of the quiver defined a stratified factorization algebra over $S^1$ or $[0,1]$ respectively. We show that the corresponding Lie algebra homology can be expressed as summing the factorization homology over all loops and framed paths of the quiver.

Abstract:Non-simply laced quivers, despite the lack of complete Lagrangian descriptions, play an important role in characterising moduli spaces of supersymmetric field theories. Notably, the moduli space of instantons in non-simply laced gauge groups can be understood by means of such quivers. We generalise the notion of non-simply laced unitary quivers to those whose edges carry two labels $(p,q)$, dubbed $(p,q)$-edged quivers. The special case of $(p,1)$ corresponds to a conventional non-simply laced edge studied in the literature. In the case of unframed $(p,q)$-edged quivers, we show how to parametrise the lattice of magnetic fluxes upon ungauging the decoupled $\mathrm{U}(1)$, and how one can pick sublattices thereof corresponding to different global forms of the quiver related by discrete gauging. This form of discrete gauging can be applied to any unframed unitary quivers, not just ones with generalised edges. We utilise both the Hilbert series and the superconformal index to study moduli spaces and 't Hooft anomalies. In particular, we study mixed 't Hooft anomalies between a one-form symmetry and a zero-form continuous topological symmetry in various $(p,q)$-edged quivers. We also provide an alternative realisation of the moduli space of $\mathfrak{so}(2n+1)$ instantons via gauging discrete symmetries in supersymmetric QCD with a symplectic gauge group and a large number of flavours.

The corresponding 3d = 4 Coulomb branches are related by an orbifold of S n . The second operation, multi-lacing , takes a quiver with n nodes connected by edges of multiplicity k and replaces them by n nodes of multiplicity qk . The corresponding Coulomb branch moduli spaces are related by an orbifold of type . Collapse generalises known cases that appeared in the literature [1–3]. These two operations can be combined to generate new relations between moduli spaces that are constructed using the magnetic construction.

Abstract:We realize geometrically a family of simple modules of (shifted) quantum loop groups including Kirillov-Reshetikhin and prefundamental representations. To do this, we introduce a new family of algebras attached to quivers with potentials, using critical K-theory and critical Borel-Moore homology, which generalizes the convolution algebras attached to quivers defined by Nakajima.

Abstract:Arkani-Hamed and collaborators have recently shown that scattering amplitudes for colored theories can be expressed as integrals over combinatorial objects simply constructed from surfaces decorated by kinematic data. In this paper we extend the curve integral formalism to theories with colored fermionic matter and present a compact formula for the all-loop, all-genus, all-multiplicity amplitude integrand of a colored Yukawa theory. The curve integral formalism makes certain properties of the amplitudes manifest and repackages non-trivial numerators into a single combinatorial object. We also present an efficient formula for $L$-loop integrated amplitudes in terms of a sum over $2^L$ combinatorial determinants.

Quiver algebras and their representations for arbitrary quivers

Abstract:The quiver Yangians were originally defined for the quiver and superpotential from string theory on general toric Calabi-Yau threefolds, and serve as BPS algebras of these systems. Their characters reproduce the unrefined BPS indices, which correspond to classical Donaldson-Thomas (DT) invariants. We generalize this construction in two directions. First, we show that this definition extends to arbitrary quivers with potentials. Second, we explain how to define the characters to incorporate the refined BPS indices, which correspond to motivic DT invariants. We focus on two main classes of quivers: the BPS quivers of 4D $N=2$ theories and the quivers from the knot-quiver correspondence. The entire construction allows for straightforward generalizations to trigonometric, elliptic, and generalized cohomologies.

Loop Grassmannian of quivers and Compactified Coulomb branch of quiver gauge theory with no framing

Abstract:Mirković introduced the notion of loop Grassmannian for symmetric integer matrix $\kappa$. It is a two-step limit of the local projective space $Z_{\kappa}^{\alpha}$, which generalizes the usual Zastava for a simply laced group $G$. The usual loop Grassmannian of $G$ is recovered when the matrix $\kappa$ is the Cartan matrix of $G$. On the other hand, Braverman, Finkelberg, and Nakajima showed that the Compactified Coulomb branch $\mathbf{M}_{Q}^{\alpha}$ for the quiver gauge theory with no framing also generalizes the usual Zastava. We show that in the case when $\kappa$ is the associated matrix of the quiver $Q$, these two generalizations of Zastava coincide, i.e $\mathbf{M}_{Q}^{\alpha}\cong Z_{\kappa(Q)}^{\alpha}$.

Quotient Quiver Subtraction

Abstract:We develop the diagrammatic technique of quiver subtraction to facilitate the identification and evaluation of the $\mathrm{SU}(n)$ hyper-Kähler quotient (HKQ) of the Coulomb branch of a $3d$ $\mathcal{N}=4$ unitary quiver theory. The target quivers are drawn from a wide range of theories, typically classified as ''good'' or ''ugly'', which satisfy identified selection criteria. Our subtraction procedure uses quotient quivers that are ''bad'', differing thereby from quiver subtractions based on Kraft-Procesi transitions. The procedure identifies one or more resultant quivers, the union of whose Coulomb branches corresponds to the desired HKQ. Examples include quivers whose Coulomb branches are moduli spaces of free fields, closures of nilpotent orbits of classical and exceptional type, and slices in the affine Grassmanian. We calculate the Hilbert Series and Highest Weight Generating functions for HKQ examples of low rank. For certain families of quivers, we are able to conjecture HWGs for arbitrary rank. We examine the commutation relations between quotient quiver subtraction and other diagrammatic techniques, such as Kraft-Procesi transitions, quiver folding, and discrete quotients.

Generalized knots-quivers correspondence

Abstract:We propose a generalized version of knots-quivers correspondence, where the quiver series variables specialize to arbitrary powers of the knot HOMFLY-PT polynomial series variable. We explicitely compute quivers for large classes of knots, as well as many homologically thick 9- and 10-crossings knots, including the ones with the super-exponential growth property of colored HOMFLY-PT polyomials. In addition, we propose a new, compact, quiver-like form for the colored HOMFLY-PT polynomials, where the structure of colored differentials is manifest. In particular, this form partially explains the non-uniqueness of quivers corresponding to a given knot via knots-quivers correspondence.

Quon Language: Surface Algebras and Fourier Duality

Abstract:Quon language is a 3D picture language that we can apply to simulate mathematical concepts. We introduce the surface algebras as an extension of the notion of planar algebras to higher genus surface. We prove that there is a unique one-parameter extension. The 2D defects on the surfaces are quons, and surface tangles are transformations. We use quon language to simulate graphic states that appear in quantum information, and to simulate interesting quantities in modular tensor categories. This simulation relates the pictorial Fourier duality of surface tangles and the algebraic Fourier duality induced by the S matrix of the modular tensor category. The pictorial Fourier duality also coincides with the graphic duality on the sphere. For each pair of dual graphs, we obtain an algebraic identity related to the S matrix. These identities include well-known ones, such as the Verlinde formula; partially known ones, such as the 6j-symbol self-duality; and completely new ones.
All Loop Scattering For All Multiplicity

Abstract:This is part of a series of papers describing the new curve integral formalism for scattering amplitudes of the colored scalar tr$\phi^3$ theory. We show that the curve integral manifests a very surprising fact about these amplitudes: the dependence on the number of particles, $n$, and the loop order, $L$, is effectively decoupled. We derive the curve integrals at tree-level for all $n$. We then show that, for higher loop-order, it suffices to study the curve integrals for $L$-loop tadpole-like amplitudes, which have just one particle per color trace-factor. By combining these tadpole-like formulas with the the tree-level result, we find formulas for the all $n$ amplitudes at $L$ loops. We illustrate this result by giving explicit curve integrals for all the amplitudes in the theory, including the non-planar amplitudes, through to two loops, for all $n$.

Abstract:Inspired by the recent work of Nima Arkani Hamed and collaborators who introduced the notion of positive geometry to account for the structure of tree-level scattering amplitudes in bi-adjoint $\phi^3$ theory, which led to one-loop descriptions of the integrands. Here we consider the one-loop integrals themselves in $\phi^3$ theory. In order to achieve this end, the geometrical construction offered by Schnetz for Feynman diagrams is hereby extended, and the results are presented. The extension relies on masking the loop momentum variable with a constant and proceeding with the calculations. The results appear as a construction given in a diagrammatic manner. The significance of the resulting triangular diagrams is that they have a common side amongst themselves for the corresponding Feynman diagrams they pertain to. Further extensions to this mathematical construction can lead to additional insights into higher loops. A mathematica code has been provided in order to generate the final results given the initial parameters of the theory.
