Abstract:In this work a holographic model with the charge current dual to a general nonlinear electrodynamics (NLED) is discussed in the framework of massive gravity. Massive graviton can breaks the diffeomorphism invariance in the bulk and generates momentum dissipation in the dual boundary theory. The expression of DC conductivities in a finite magnetic field are obtained, with the backreaction of NLED field on the background geometry. General transport properties in various limits are presented, and then we turn to the three of specific NLED models: the conventional Maxwell electrodynamics, the Maxwell-Chern-Simons electrodynamics, and the Born-Infeld electrodynamics, to study the parameter-dependence of in-plane resistivity. Two mechanisms leading to the Mott-insulating behaviors and negative magneto-resistivity are revealed at zero temperature, and the role played by the massive gravity coupling parameters are discussed.

What problem does this paper attempt to address?
This paper aims to explore the magnetic transport properties in strongly interacting systems through the holographic duality theory under a finite magnetic field. Specifically, the paper constructs a holographic model containing the generalized non - linear electrodynamics (NLED) field and takes into account the back - reaction of the NLED field on the background geometry. In addition, a gravitational theory with a mass potential is introduced to break the diffeomorphism invariance in the bulk, thereby generating momentum dissipation in the dual boundary theory. The main objectives of the paper are: 1. **Derive DC conductivity**: Under the condition of a finite magnetic field, derive the expression of DC conductivity considering the back - reaction of the NLED field. 2. **Study the transport properties in different limits**: Analyze the transport properties under different parameter limits (such as the massless limit, zero - magnetic - field limit, high - temperature limit, etc.). 3. **Research on specific NLED models**: Conduct a detailed study on three specific NLED models - conventional Maxwell electrodynamics, Maxwell - Chern - Simons electrodynamics, and Born - Infeld electrodynamics, and explore the parameter dependence of the in - plane resistivity in these models. 4. **Reveal Mott insulating behavior and negative magnetoresistance**: At zero temperature, reveal two mechanisms leading to Mott insulating behavior and negative magnetoresistance, and discuss the role of the mass - gravitational - coupling parameter. Through the above research, the paper aims to gain an in - depth understanding of the transport properties of strongly interacting systems under different conditions, especially in the presence of a magnetic field, the changes in these properties and the underlying physical mechanisms.
