Abstract:We read the article by Yasuda et al . 1 with considerable interest. In their study, the authors used the Medical Data Vision Co., Ltd. (MDV) database to evaluate the disadvantages of treating Japanese spotted fever (JSF) with a combination of fluoroquinolone and tetracycline. However, we would like to address four concerns.
