Abstract:Artificial intelligence (AI) profoundly influences various aspects of daily life, including health care. [ 1–5 ] Among its many capabilities, natural language processing (NLP) enables computers to interpret and generate human language, [ 6 ] paving the way for AI to transform academic research. [ 7 ] AI allows researchers to efficiently analyze vast datasets, create simulations, communicate findings with clarity, assist in writing academic papers, and facilitate peer review. [ 8 , 9 ] ChatGPT, [ 10 ] a variant of OpenAI's GPT language model, excels in generating human-like text, answering queries, and maintaining discussions independently, making it a cornerstone in NLP research. ChatGPT's utility spans language translation, chatbot development, and automating routine research tasks in psychology, sociology, and education. [ 11 , 12 ] Moreover, it helps summarize complex scientific ideas and produce research reports, [ 13 ] thereby streamlining workflows, enhancing productivity, and ensuring precise results for researchers.
