Abstract:Given any solution $u$ of the Euler equations which is assumed to have some regularity in space - in terms of Besov norms, natural in this context - we show by interpolation methods that it enjoys a corresponding regularity in time and that the associated pressure $p$ is twice as regular as $u$. This generalizes a recent result by Isett [16] (see also Colombo and De Rosa [8]), which covers the case of Hölder spaces.

What problem does this paper attempt to address?
This paper aims to explore the regularity results of rough solutions to the incompressible Euler equations. Specifically, the authors study the time regularity of these solutions and the double - space regularity of the associated pressure fields under given spatial regularity assumptions (expressed in Besov norms). Through interpolation methods, they prove that for solutions with certain a priori Sobolev or Besov space regularities, the corresponding pressure fields enjoy double regularities in space, and the solutions themselves and their pressure fields also enjoy corresponding regularities in time. The main contribution of the paper lies in providing a new method to deal with these problems through interpolation theory, which is different from previous work based on Hölder spaces. This method avoids the ε - loss in time regularity and can handle solutions in a wider range of function spaces, thus generalizing the work of Isett and others. Specifically, a main theorem (Theorem 1.1) is proposed in the paper, which details the time and space regularities of solutions and their pressure fields under different spatial regularity conditions. For example, if the solution \( u \) belongs to \( L^s((0, T); B^\theta_{2r,\infty}(T^3)) \), then \( u \) will belong to \( B^\theta_{s,\infty}((0, T); L^r(T^3)) \) in time, and the pressure field \( p \) will belong to \( L^s((0, T); B^{2\theta}_{r,\infty}(T^3)) \). In addition, by considering the embedding relationships between Sobolev spaces and Besov spaces, the paper obtains a corollary (Corollary 1.2) about Sobolev solutions, further enriching the understanding of such problems. In conclusion, this paper provides important theoretical support for the study of the regularity of rough solutions to the incompressible Euler equations by introducing new interpolation techniques.
