Abstract:We consider the PBW basis of the type A quantum toroidal algebra developed by the author, and prove commutation relations between its generators akin to the ones studied by Burban-Schiffmann for n=1. This gives rise to a new presentation of the quantum toroidal algebra of type A.

Abstract:In this paper, we develop the PBW theory for the bosonic extension $\qbA{\g}$ of a quantum group $\mathcal{U}_q(\g)$ of \emph{any} finite type. When $\g$ belongs to the class of \emph{simply-laced type}, the algebra $\qbA{\g}$ arises from the quantum Grothendieck ring of the Hernandez-Leclerc category over quantum affine algebras of untwisted affine types. We introduce and investigate a symmetric bilinear form $\pair{\ , \ }$ on $\qbA{\g}$ which is invariant under the braid group actions $\bT_i$ on $\qbA{\g}$, and study the adjoint operators $\Ep_{i,p}$ and $\Es_{i,p}$ with respect to $\pair{\ , \ }$. It turns out that the adjoint operators $\Ep_{i,p}$ and $\Es_{i,p}$ are analogues of the $q$-derivations $e_i'$ and $\es_i$ on the negative half $\calU_q^-(\g)$ of $\calU_q(\g)$. Following this, we introduce a new family of subalgebras denoted as $\qbA{\mathfrak{g}}(\ttb)$ in $\qbA{\mathfrak{g}}$. These subalgebras are defined for any elements $\ttb$ in the positive submonoid $\bg^+$ of the (generalized) braid group $\ttB$ of $\g$. We prove that $\qbA{\mathfrak{g}}(\ttb)$ exhibits PBW root vectors and PBW bases defined by $\bT_\ii$ for any sequence $\ii$ of $\ttb$. The PBW root vectors satisfy a Levendorskii-Soibelman formula and the PBW bases are orthogonal with respect to $\pair{\ , \ }$. The algebras $\qbA{\g} (\ttb)$ can be understood as a natural extension of quantum unipotent coordinate rings.

Abstract:In this note, we construct dual PBW bases of the positive and negative subalgebras of the two-parameter quantum groups $U_{r,s}(\mathfrak{g})$ in classical types, as used in our earlier work <a class="link-https" data-arxiv-id="2407.01450" href="https://arxiv.org/abs/2407.01450">arXiv:2407.01450</a>. Following the ideas of Leclerc and Clark-Hill-Wang, we introduce the two-parameter shuffle algebra and relate it to the subalgebras above. We then use the combinatorics of dominant Lyndon words to establish the main results.

Abstract:We generalize Lusztig's geometric construction of the PBW bases of finite quantum groups of type $\mathsf{ADE}$ under the framework of [Varagnolo-Vasserot, J. reine angew. Math. 659 (2011)]. In particular, every PBW basis of such quantum groups is proven to yield a semi-orthogonal collection in the module category of the KLR-algebras. This enables us to prove Lusztig's conjecture on the positivity of the canonical (lower global) bases in terms of the (lower) PBW bases in the $\mathsf{ADE}$ case. In addition, we verify Kashiwara's problem on the finiteness of the global dimensions of the KLR-algebras of type $\mathsf{ADE}$.

Abstract:We consider the positive part $U_q^{+}$ of the quantum affine superalgebra $U_q(C(2)^{(2)})$ and the quantum admissible affine algebra $\mathcal{U}_q(\widehat{\mathfrak{s l}}_2)$ newly defined in \cite{HZ}, which both have presentations with two generators $e_{\alpha}, e_{\delta-\alpha}$ that satisfy the cubic $q$-Serre relations. There are the Damiani and the Beck $PBW$ bases for those two algebras due to Khoroshkin-Lukierski-Tolstoy and Hu-Zhuang, respectively. In this paper, we use $q$-shuffle algebra and Catalan words to express those two bases in closed form. Finally, the equitable presentations of $U_q(C(2)^{(2)})$ and $\mathcal{U}_q(\widehat{\mathfrak{s l}}_2)$ are exhibited.

PBW bases for $\imath$quantum groups

Abstract:We establish PBW type bases for $\imath$quantum groups of arbitrary finite type, using the relative braid group symmetries. Explicit formulas for root vectors are provided for $\imath$quantum groups of each rank 1 type. We show that our PBW type bases give rise to integral bases for the modified $\imath$quantum groups. The leading terms of our bases can be identified with the usual PBW bases in the theory of quantum groups.

The alternating central extension for the positive part of $U_q(\widehat{\mathfrak{sl}}_2)$

Abstract:This paper is about the positive part $U^+_q$ of the quantum group $U_q(\widehat{\mathfrak{sl}}_2)$. The algebra $U^+_q$ has a presentation with two generators $A,B$ that satisfy the cubic $q$-Serre relations. Recently we introduced a type of element in $U^+_q$, said to be alternating. Each alternating element commutes with exactly one of $A$, $B$, $qBA-q^{-1}AB$, $qAB-q^{-1}BA$; this gives four types of alternating elements. There are infinitely many alternating elements of each type, and these mutually commute. In the present paper we use the alternating elements to obtain a central extension $\mathcal U^+_q$ of $U^+_q$. We define $\mathcal U^+_q$ by generators and relations. These generators, said to be alternating, are in bijection with the alternating elements of $U^+_q$. We display a surjective algebra homomorphism $\mathcal U^+_q \to U^+_q$ that sends each alternating generator of $\mathcal U^+_q$ to the corresponding alternating element in $U^+_q$. We adjust this homomorphism to obtain an algebra isomorphism $\mathcal U_q^+ \to U^+_q \otimes \mathbb F \lbrack z_1, z_2,\ldots\rbrack$ where $\mathbb F$ is the ground field and $\lbrace z_n\rbrace_{n=1}^\infty$ are mutually commuting indeterminates. We show that the alternating generators form a PBW basis for $\mathcal U_q^+$. We discuss how $\mathcal U^+_q$ is related to the work of Baseilhac, Koizumi, Shigechi concerning the $q$-Onsager algebra and integrable lattice models.

On some algebraic and geometric aspects of the quantum unitary group

Abstract:Consider the compact quantum group $U_q(2)$, where $q$ is a non-zero complex deformation parameter such that $|q|\neq 1$. Let $C(U_q(2))$ denote the underlying $C^*$-algebra of the compact quantum group $U_q(2)$. We prove that if $q$ is a non-real complex number and $q^\prime$ is real, then the underlying $C^*$-algebras $C(U_q(2))$ and $C(U_{q^\prime}(2))$ are non-isomorphic. This is in sharp contrast with the case of braided $SU_q(2)$, introduced earlier by Woronowicz et al., where $q$ is a non-zero complex deformation parameter. In another direction, on a geometric aspect of $U_q(2)$, we introduce torus action on the $C^*$-algebra $C(U_q(2))$ and obtain a $C^*$-dynamical system $(C(U_q(2)),\mathbb{T}^3,\alpha)$. We construct a $\mathbb{T}^3$-equivariant spectral triple for $U_q(2)$ that is even and $3^+$-summable. It is shown that the Dirac operator is K-homologically nontrivial.

Abstract:We construct bar-invariant $\mathbb{Z}[q^{\pm 1/2}]-$bases of the quantum cluster algebra of the Kronecker quiver which are quantum analogues of the canonical basis, semicanonical basis and dual semicanonical basis of the cluster algebra of the Kronecker quiver in the sense of \cite{sherzel},\cite{calzel} and \cite{gls} respectively. As a byproduct, we prove the positivity of the elements in these bases.

Abstract:We find the "bracket multiplication" table related to the q -Weyl generators of the multi-parameter quantization G of the type G2+ in the explicite form. This information allows one to decompose every element in PBW basis related to the q -Weyl generators using a natural diminishing procedure. Nevertheless G is not a quadratic-linear Koszul algebra with respect to the q -Weyl generators. It is known that the multi-parameter quantizations of type An+ and Bn+ in q -Weyl generators indeed are quadratic-linear Koszul algebras.

Abstract:In this paper, we present explicit actions of braid group on the universal enveloping superalgebra ${\boldsymbol U}(\mathfrak{q}_n)$ and the quantum queer superalgebra ${\boldsymbol U}_{\!{v}}(\mathfrak{q}_{n})$. Then we provide a new definition of root vectors and some explicit expression for them. With these procedures, we obtain the PBW-type basis containing the product of root vectors.

Abstract:Abstract We construct a family of PBWD (Poincaré-Birkhoff-Witt-Drinfeld) bases for the positive subalgebras of quantum loop algebras of type $B_{n}$ and $G_{2}$, as well as their Lusztig and RTT (for type $B_{n}$ only) integral forms, in the new Drinfeld realization. We also establish a shuffle algebra realization of these ${\mathbb {Q}}(v)$-algebras (proved earlier in [26] by completely different tools) and generalize the latter to the above ${{\mathbb {Z}}}[v,v^{-1}]$-forms. The rational counterparts provide shuffle algebra realizations of positive subalgebras of type $B_{n}$ and $G_{2}$ Yangians and their Drinfeld-Gavarini duals. All of this generalizes the type $A_{n}$ results of [30].

Automorphisms of quantum toroidal algebras from an action of the extended double affine braid group

Abstract:We first construct an action of the extended double affine braid group $\mathcal{\ddot{B}}$ on the quantum toroidal algebra $U_{q}(\mathfrak{g}_{\mathrm{tor}})$ in untwisted and twisted types. As a crucial step in the proof, we obtain a finite Drinfeld new style presentation for a broad class of quantum affinizations. In the simply laced cases, using our action and certain involutions of $\mathcal{\ddot{B}}$ we produce automorphisms and anti-involutions of $U_{q}(\mathfrak{g}_{\mathrm{tor}})$ which exchange the horizontal and vertical subalgebras. Moreover, they switch the central elements $C$ and $k_{0}^{a_{0}}\dots k_{n}^{a_{n}}$ up to inverse. This can be viewed as the analogue, for these quantum toroidal algebras, of the duality for double affine braid groups used by Cherednik to realise the difference Fourier transform in his celebrated proof of the Macdonald evaluation conjectures. Our work generalises existing results in type $A$ due to Miki which have been instrumental in the study of the structure and representation theory of $U_{q}(\mathfrak{sl}_{n+1,\mathrm{tor}})$.

Abstract:Let P := P m×n denote the quantized coordinate ring of the space of m × n matrices. We introduce a q-analog PD of the algebra of polynomial coefficient differential operators inside End(P) and we prove that PD is an integral form of the algebra Pol(Mat m×n ) q introduced earlier by Shklyarov-Sinel'shchikov-Vaksman [SSV04]. Let L and R denote the images in End(P) of the natural actions of the quantized enveloping algebras U q (gl m ) and U q (gl n ), respectively, and let L h and R h denote the images of their Cartan subalgebras. Our main result is that L ∩ PD and R ∩ PD are mutual centralizers in PD, and using this, we establish a new First Fundamental Theorem of invariant theory for U q (gl n ). We also determine explicit generators of the subalgebras L h ∩ PD and R h ∩ PD in terms of q-determinants.

Abstract:In this paper, we study in the context of quantum vertex algebras a certain Clifford-like algebra introduced by Jing and Nie. We establish bases of PBW type and classify its $\mathbb N$-graded irreducible modules by using a notion of Verma module. On the other hand, we introduce a new algebra, a twin of the original algebra. Using this new algebra we construct a quantum vertex algebra and we associate $\mathbb N$-graded modules for Jing-Nie's Clifford-like algebra with $\phi$-coordinated modules for the quantum vertex algebra. We also show that the adjoint module for the quantum vertex algebra is irreducible.

Abstract:For quantum group of affine type, Lusztig gave an explicit construction of the affine canonical basis by simple perverse sheaves. In this paper, we construct a bar-invariant basis by using a PBW basis arising from representations of the corresponding tame quiver. We prove that this bar-invariant basis coincides with Lusztig's canonical basis and obtain a concrete bijection between the elements in theses two bases. The index set of these bases is listed orderly by modules in preprojective, regular non-homogeneous, preinjective components and irreducible characters of symmetric groups. Our results are based on the work of Lin-Xiao-Zhang and closely related with the work of Beck-Nakajima. A crucial method in our construction is a generalization of that by Deng-Du-Xiao.
