Abstract:Liver failure is a metabolic disorder caused by a variety of mixed factors. The essence is that liver tissue is damaged, causing metabolic dysfunction. Clinically, jaundice and ascites are the main symptoms, mainly due to detoxification and abnormal metabolism in the body cause. According to many years of epidemiological studies, the fatality rate is extremely high, and the cure rate is low. Most of the patients carry the disease for life, which has become a problem that plagues the academic circle. However, my country is a big country with liver disease, and the incidence of liver failure in my country is high. [ 1 ] Patients with liver failure are seriously ill, have a long course of disease, and change rapidly. The incidence of complications and mortality in patients is high. Therefore, nursing staff need to strengthen observation and be alert to the occurrence of signs of liver failure complications, so that early reporting and early treatment can be achieved. Timely and effectively control the development of the disease to minimize the damage of complications. [ 2 ] The current new type of nursing thinking has gradually transitioned from the initial symptom management to the holistic care model at the "physiological–psychosocial" functional level. Traditional nursing services have been unable to meet the demands of patients for the medical services they enjoy. [ 3 ] In recent years, clustered nursing has been applied in clinical practice and has achieved good results. It is a kind of nursing that integrates a series of clinically proven effective treatments and nursing measures, and implements interventions on patients to maximize nursing effects. [ 4 ] When applying clustered care to liver failure care, its purpose is to introduce evidence-based culture into bedside management and create the best nursing practice guidelines for patients with liver failure. [ 5 ] As a group of nursing interventions, collective nursing care can improve patient outcomes better than the individual implementation of each element. [ 6 ] And each cluster contains 3 to 6 elements, all of which are specific and operability, and are widely recognized. However, because this nursing program has not been widely used and popularized in China, there is still a lack of certain data support. [ 7 ] Based on domestic and foreign research, clustered care is mainly used in the prevention and control of infections in the respiratory, circulatory, and nervous systems, but there are few reports on liver failure in the literature. Therefore, this study explores the effect of clustered nursing on the liver function indexes, nutrition, and emotional status of patients with severe liver failure. The report is now as follows.
