Abstract:Eight kinds of trace elements of Elaeagnus mollis were determinated with flame atomic absorption spectrophotometry method. The result shows that there is evident difference of the trace elements in different organs and growing stages. The trace element is plentiful in this kind of plant, specially in root, leaf and seed.

Abstract:Objective:This text sets up atom absorbing spectrometry method on determating the trace elements(K,Ca,Na,Mg,Zn,Cu,Sr,Mn,Fe) in the leaves of elaeagnus angustifol and compares the different measurements of assimilate on results.Methods:The atom absorbing spectrometry method was used.Results:The contents of Zn,Cu,Mn,Fe were different during the different growing time and others were all richful.Conclusion:The method has high sensitivity,better choice,less interaction,high accurity and analysed quickly.

Abstract:After wet digestion procedure,twenty inorganic elements in twelve kinds of common pollen were simultaneously determined by ICP-AES.The results had shown that the contents of essential elements such as K,Ca,Mg,Zn,Fe,Mn,and Cu were generally abundant,contents of Zn was more richer than Cu,in all pollens and contents of two or three certain elements above were relatively higher in lotus(K,Mg),camellia (Mn,Zn),pine(K,Fe,Mn) and vicia faba (Ca,Fe,Zn) pollen than others,and the concentration of heavy metals such as Cd,Pb and Hg were very lower or nondetectable in all samples.But more attention should be paid to that the concentration of Al was at a noticeable higher level in each kind of pollen,especially reaching highest in Pine pollen.The determination might be useful as well as looking forward to provide some information for exploitation of pollen.

Abstract:The contents of seven elements such as Ca,Mg,Fe,Mn,Cu,Zn,K in eight algaes,such as Sargassumgranuliferum,S.thunbergii(Mert.)Kuntze,Tangle,Sargassumpolycystum,Undaria pinnatifida(Harv),Herba Zosterae Marinae,Catenella opuntia(Good,et Woodw.)Grev(red,white)were analysised by flame atomic absorption spectrometry.Those algaes are rich in Ca,Mg,Fe,K,but Cu,Mn and Zn was relatively small.Particularly,Ca is the most abundant element,and Cu is the lowest.The additional standard recovery was obtained between 95.7% and 101.1%,and RSD was between 0.054% and 1.764%.The method has good accuracy and precision,and the results support basis for edible,officinal and feeding value of those algae.

Abstract:To investigate the amount of metal element in the citrus juices flame atomic absorption spectrophotometry (FAAS).Was used to determine the content of K,Mg,Ca,Fe,Cu,Mn and Zn in the selected fifteen citrus juices of China after the digestion with V(HNO_3)+V(HClO_4)=4+1.The results indicated that citrus juices were abundant in major elements (K,Mg and Ca),and there were large variations among different varieties.Among the trace elements,Fe and Zn had relatively higher amounts.Meanwhile,Hybrid 439 achieved the highest value of K,Ca and Mn among the selected fifteen citrus fruits.These results were useful to the nutritional label of citrus juices and also valuable to the citrus juice processing technology.

Abstract:OBJECTIVE:To determine the content of trace elements in Euphrasia regelii.METHODS:A concentrated nitric acid and perchloric acid(4:1,V:V) mixture solution was used to digest the herbal sample,and flame atomic absorption spectrometric(FAAS) was applied to determine the content of trace elements(Fe,Cu,Zn,Mn).RESULTS:The contents of trace elements(Fe,Cu,Zn,Mn) in E.regelii were 739.84 μg·g-1,16.04 μg·g-1,108.86 μg·g-1 and 49.20 μg·g-1,respectively.Average recoveries were 97.6%～103.0%,and RSD ranged 0.8%～3.5%(n=6).CONCLUSION:E.regelii contains rich trace elements(Fe,Cu,Zn,Mn).The method is simple and accurate,and trial result can provide reference for the further study of pharmacological action of E.regelii.

Abstract:To study the chemical composition of eucalyptus from Xiaoliang station of water and soil conservation,Maoming,8 nutrient elements from 5 eucalyptus were determined,among which,K,Ca,Mg,Cu,Fe,Mn and Zn were determined by flame atomic absorption spectrometry,P by ammonium molybdate spectrometry.The results showed that the contents of four macronutrients including P,K,Ca and Mg present K>Ca>Mg>P in the same organs of the same species.Among the four micronutrients,the content of Mn is the highest and Cu is the lowest.Contents of the four macroelements are the highest in leaves,secondary in branches,the lowest in trunk and root.However,contents of the four microelements present no consistent law in different organs in the same species.The law between contents of nutrient elements from different eucalyptus is not consistent with each other generally.

Abstract:[Objective] The content of the trace elements in Cephalanoplos segetum Bge was studied,which would provide the reference for its future development and guidance for the medical utilization.[Method] 6 kinds of trace elements such as Cu,Zn,Fe,Mg,Mn and Ca at the different parts of Cephalanoplos segetum Bge were detected with the method of flame atomic absorption spectrophotometry(FAAS).[Results] The results showed that the content of six micro-element was distinct variation in the leaf,stem and other different parts of Cephalanoplos segetum Bge.The content of Ca,Mg,Fe,and Mn was high and the content of Cu and Zn was low in the plant.[Conclusion] These conclusion could provide a useful data for the reasonable utilization and development of Cephalanoplos segetum Bge in which there was necessary and rich micro-element for humen body.

Abstract:Having digested the root and shoot of Astragalus membranaceus (Fisch.) with the mixture of nitric acid and perchloride acid (4 : 1) under the condition of the bolling point and the normal pressure, the contents of the five mineral elements necessary to humanity, potassium, copper, zinc, iron and manganese in root and shoot of Astragalus membranaceus (Fisch.) were determined by flame atomic absorption spectroscopy (FAAS), and the results were analyzed in statistics. The correlative coefficient of the standard curve in this method is 0.997 3-0.999 9, the recovery of standard addition was 92.88%-109.25% and the relative standard deviation (RSD, n = 5) was 0.393 5%-3.175 2%. The method is simple and the results were accurate and reliable. The contents of K, Fe, Zn, Mn, Cu in the root and shoot of Astragalus membranaceus (Fisch.) were compared. The results showed that the sequence of the content of metal elements is as follows in all samples: K > Fe > Zn > Mn > Cu. However, the distribution of elements in shoot and root is not uniform, and the content of Fe, Zn and Cu in root is richer than in shoot. There are abundant Fe, Zn and Cu in root, for example, the content of Fe in root is 1.54 times that in shoot. In addition, there are also abundant mineral elements in the shoot, especially in K and Mn, for example, the content of K in shoot is 1.63 times that in root. The contents of K, Fe, Zn, Mn and Cu in shoot are in agreement with the medical effects of Astragalus membranaceus (Fisch.). The results should provide useful data for investigating the distribution of mineral element in Astragalus membranaceu body and the correlation between the mineral element content and the effect of medicine in Astragalus membranaceus (Fisch.).

Abstract:The contents of ten trace elements,such as Zn,Pb,Cd,Fe,Mn,Cr,Mg,Ca,Cu and Al in Artemisia argyi Level,et Vant leaves were determined by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry(ICP-AES).The recoveries were in the range of 97.0%—107.2%,and RSDs were less than 4%with good accuracy and precision.The contents of trace elements in commercial Artemisia argyi Level.et Vant leaves were determined by this method,that provided the certain basis for quality control of Artemisia argyi Level,et Vant.

Abstract:The contents of seven kinds of mineral elements such as K,Na,Ca,Mg,Fe,Mn,Zn in Cryptotaenia japonica Hassk,Phyllostachys heteroclada oliver,Pteridium aquilinum var.latiusculum from Hunan province were determined by flame atomic absorption spectroscopy after the samples were digested by wet digestion and dry ashing methods.This method exhibited spike recoveries for 7 mineral elements from 97.5% ～ 102.5% and RSDs of sample results was less than 1.21%,with good accuracy and precision.In addition,the experimental results indicate that there were abundant elements in three kinds of wild vegetables,especially rich in Ca,Mg,Fe,Zn.Except the content of Cu,others elements contents in C.japonica,P.heteroclada oliver all higher than theirs related species vegetables,the contents of Ca,Mg in C.japonica were the highest in three wild vegetables,the Ca and Mg contents were respectively 212.25 mg/100g,50.8 mg/100g,and respectively 2.82,2.65 times of contents of celery,and the contents of Mn in P.aquilinum var.latiusculum was 2.96 mg/100g,which was the highest in three vegetables.All of the three wild vegetables have high development and utilization values.

Abstract:The flower was digested with HNO3-HClO4 mixed acid(4+1).The thirteen metal elements in flowers of twelve officinal plants were determined by flame atomic absorption spectrophotometry.The experimental conditions were optimized. The accuracy,precision of the method,and effect of nitric acid density on elements determine were studied.The nitric acid density didn't effect on determine within experiment.The flowers of twelve officinal plants contain abundant metal elements like Na,K,Ca,Mg,Zn,Fe,Cu and Mn,which are important for human being.The results indicate that the level of elemental content in officinal plant flower varies according to region,The elemental content in different time plant flower was difference to same region.The linear correlations of standard curves are good(r=0.9969—1.0000).The recovery of standard addition is 96.2%—109.9%,RSD is 0.55%—2.90%.The elements didn't interfere with each other in the conditions of determination.The method was rapid,simple with satisfactory results.

Abstract:OBJECTIVE To establish flame atomic absorption spectrometry for determining K、Na、Ca、Mg、Cu、Zn、Fe and Co eight trace elements in giant knotweed rhizome.METHODS The samples were digested with mixed acid of nitric acid-perchlorate,K、Na、Ca、Mg、Cu、Zn、Fe、Co,eight trace elements in Rhizoma et Radix Polygoni Cuspidati were determined by flame atomic absorption spectroscopy under affirmatory working conditions.RESULTS This method had a wide linear range,the recovery rate was 99.00%-100.43%(n=6) and the relative standard deviation was 0.35%-0.90%(n=6) for each element.CONCLUSION This method is simple,rapid,sensitive and accurate.It could be used for simultaneous determination of 8 trace elements in Chinese traditional medicine Rhizoma et Radix Polygoni Cuspidati.

Abstract:The trace elements of iron,manganese,copper,zincum,nickel and chromium in ligusticum chuanxiong hort were determined by atomic absorption spectrometry.The trace elements were rich in ligusticum chuanxiong hort and the content of iron is higher than the other elements,its content is 439.9415±10.8599μg·g-1.The analytic results provided a useful data for using Chinese herbal medicines and provided theoretical basis for studying Chinese herbal medicines.The atomic absorption spectrometry is the accurate and convinente method for the trace elements.

Abstract:In This paper,the contents of metal elements in three kinds of desert plants Salix bordensis,Elaeagnus angustifolia and Salix psammophila from Inner Mongolia were determined by ICP-AES technique.The recoveries obtained by standard addition method is between 95.1% and 110.3%,and its RSD is lower than 3.4%.The results show that major elements such as Na,K,Mg,Ca,Al and plant vital activities essential trace elements Cu,Fe,Mn,Zn have a different contents orders in these desert plants,and 4 elements contents of Cu,Fe,Mn,Zn are lower than the average contents of other terrestrial plants.

Abstract:In this paper, the contents of elements Se, Zn, Mn, Cu, Mg, Fe, Al and Be in the plantago, originating from different places and produced with various methods, were determined by ICP-AES technique. Its recovery ratio obtained by standard addition method ranged between 80.4% and 119.7%. and its RSD was lower than 6%. The results of the determination show that the seeds in plantago are rich in the inorganic elements such as Mg, Fe, Al and Zn essential to human health.

Abstract:Objective To determine the contents of four trace elements of Zn,Fe,Cu and Mn in aerial parts of Arachniodes exilis.Methods The samples were digested with mixed acid of HNO3 and H2O2 by microwave digestion.FAAS method was established for the determination of Zn,Fe,Cu and Mn in the samples.Results The contents of Zn,Fe,Cu and Mn were 175.51,286.91,14.38,78.84μg/g in aerial parts of Arachniodes exilis.Conclusion There are plenty of Zn,Fe,Cu and Mn in aerial parts of Arachniodes exilis.This method is simple and reliable and can be used for the determination of practical samples.

Abstract:[Objective] The research aimed to enhance the grape fruits output and improve the quality.[Method] The flame atomic absorption spectrophotometry(FAAS) was used to detect contents of Cu,Mn,Fe,Zn in the leaf and fruit of the grape.Dynamic change rule of mineral elements demand was discussed in the grape form fruit to mature period.[Result] The grape leaf and the fruit had a mineral element demand peak in the mature period.And the peak of fruit synchronised or lagged behind that of leaf.[Conclusion] This research provided basis for the control of the leaf surface fertilization spray time and the adopt of the scientific cultural technique.

Abstract:A method of simultaneous determination of trace elements in pepper by inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectrometry was developed.The contents of eighteen elements,including Cu,Na,B,Li,Mn,Ca,Ba,Sr,Zn,Fe,Co,Tl,Al,Ni,Ga,K,Ag and In,were determined in four cultivar,namely,Damila,Xiaomila,Shuanla and Qiubeila,respectively.The relative standard deviations for all these elements were between 0.3% and 1.8%,and the recoveries were between 80.00% and 116.93%.The method was simple,rapid,reliable,and highly sensitive.In addition,the determination of these eighteen elements can be carried out at the same time,which can meet the requests of actual sample analysis.The experimental results showed that some beneficia1 elements for human such as Ca,Fe,Zn,Mn,Cu,Na were abundant.Cultivar differences obviously existed in the concentrations of one or more trace elements.These differences might result from the genotypes.The determination of these elements by ICP-AES has important point for exploiting pepper fully in futures.

Abstract:Objective To establish a method of the ultrasonic extraction and the content determination of total flavoneoids from the leaves of Elaeagnus angustifolia L..Methods Applying the orthogonal design,the optimum ultrasonic extraction conditions were investigated.The content of the total flavoneoids was determined by spectrophotometry.Results The optimum extraction conditions follows as: adding 40 fold of ethanol(C_2H_5OH)= 70%),extracting twice(20 min every times).The average recovery and RSD were 98.8% and 1.34%(n=5),respectively.The content of total flavoneoids were determined from the leaves of Elaeagnus angustifolia L.at different growth period.Conclusion The result indicated that this method may be used extrction and content detemination of total offlavoneoids.
