Abstract:The drawing and application of GOO(Graphic-Object-Oriented) single-line display for power distribution network are realized using GDI+ technology and the class and interface method in Windows environment.Four levels of class are designed with the concept of layered modularization:the base class,management of public properties and methods;the basic graph class,point,line,rectangle and text derived from the base class;the merging / binding class,various electric icons created from the basic graph class;the canvas class,management of icon aggregation on a single-line display.The display is saved on disk through serialization / deserialization and uploaded to database server.The client detects the new version and updates the display by downloading from server.An enumeration structure and a global control word collection are defined to meet different requirements of different applications for icon generation,single line drawing,topology modeling,switch operation simulation,etc..

Abstract:The paper presented a computer aided sketching design system for conceptual drawing which integrated a pen-based input way with the traditional WIMP-based interactive way. The class hierarchy of the system was proposed by using the object-oriented method. Some key technologies of sketching design were researched, such as stroke segmentation, primitive recognition, sketch beautification, gesture design and recognition, gesture-based sketch editing, etc. Finally, an instance was introduced to describe the editing process of sketch.

Abstract:Recently,the embedded sytem has been used widely.At the same time,the development of the GUI is more and more important.The inter-process and inter-object communictaion of Qt/Embedded was given.Taking the bearing fault diagnose system for an example,the design and realization of the GUI system were presented in detail,combined with the unique signal/slot mechanism.The experiments prove that the improved method can meet the real time requirements.

Abstract:For the application of real-time database in a petrochemical plant,the article put forwards to a new concept to resolve the communication among real-time database and DCS,control software,and Web-based user interface.The scheme is developed based on Windows 2000 Server using the technique of multe-threading,anolymous pipe and WinSock,etc.The results of long industrial running of this scheme show that it is more effective and feasible for industrial process.

Abstract:Teach system is widely used in welding robot,Users control robot to weld by Teach system.So,the practicability of welding robot depends on function and interface of teach system.Design and realization of Software of teach system which based on the real-time KernelμC/OS-Ⅱ is introduced.The system includes operating system、GUI interface and network communication.It first introduces the main modules,then functional planning and development of teaching box,and design of interface based on GUI is dealt with.At last,realization of the communication between the teaching system and the host controller based on LwIP are specified in detail.Now,development and test has been done,industrialization is carried on.After test and preliminary use of the system,it was proved that the teach system had characteristics of nice interface,comprehensive functions,practicability,and it can satisfy expected requirements of industry.

Abstract:Aiming at some problems of embedded industry monitoring system graphic user interface (IMS-GUI) such as large occupation space, bad configuration ability and poor real-time performance, an embedded IMS-GUI components library realization method based on Qt/E was put forward. The Qt/E library file was tailored according to basic requirement of IMS. Using multi-thread method, system parallel processing abilities of data collection, analysis and display were enhanced, and real-time performance and rapidity were guaranteed. By internal communication interface of Qt, the message mapping mechanism which would not require call-back was realized, context switch speed was improved, and GUI development process would become simply. Based on modularization principle, combined with some related industry monitoring and fault diagnostic algorithms, GUI shared components library oriented to IMS was developed by primary C language, that could resolve the problem of cross-platform applicability and be configured and tailored for specific demand of users. Industry experiments proved that GUI developed by the components library has small occupation space and high real-time performance, can stably run in embedded platform environment, and supply powerful technical support for the interactivity of IMS.

Abstract:It is important for modern enterprise to backup business data. The heterogeneous databases and systems can be protected and stored by network data backup system. A design of XML-based GUI for cross platform backup system is proposed, by which user can centrally backup and restore data. The plug-in enabled architecture of the GUI can improve system compatibility, reliability and flexibility. Finally, a method is given to define the GUI with XML.

Abstract:Most recently, attention has focused on adaptive interface in the human computer interface domain. In this paper, several fundamental concepts of adaptive interface are introduced at first, then an adaptive mechanism of user interface is presented based on these concepts. The structure and technology of this architecture are discussed in detail. This architecture has been applied to GS ICCC (GreatSky Integrated CAD, CAPP and CAM), which is an integrated CAD/CAPP/CAM system. Some details when implementing this architecture are also described. The adaptive architecture of GS ICCC has been implemented based on X Window/Motif environments. It has been proved to be highly efficient.

In this approach, a user interface is made up of a group of objects. The functions of the user interface are fulfilled by these objects. The objects in a user interface are created in the design phase. Once created, these objects can continue to exist and may move from memory to disk. When needed in use phase, they, as the elements of a user interface, can be loaded from disk and take part in system control.

Abstract:Today, CAD/CAM/CAE tools are highly graphical and interactive. But how an interface can be more helpful is not ascertained yet and still interesting to many software workers. From the object-oriented point of view, based on knowledge deducing and event stack structure, we propose a new interface model SRT. Using this model, we have developed an entirely new interaction technique. In this paper, after a review on the development of users interface models and interaction techniques, we will give a detailed definition of SRT, followed by a discussion of what a role it plays in users' design work. Based on SRT model, we developed SDDT, a Software Document Design supporting Tool of ICSDE system. SDDT consists of a concise expert system and a Software Graphic Document edit Too, along with a Software Textual Document edit Tool. SDDT now has been realized on HP workstations, and the new interface of it brought by SRT model has proven to be a very successful interface. In this paper, we will also describe the interface of SDDT.

Abstract:Internet brings more flexibility and possibilities to software. How to develop and maintain the software conveniently and easily is a big challenge for the developers of Internet applications. The purpose of this paper is to create a systemic framework for object oriented design (OOD) and map between the program and the reality. This paper investigates the things, relations and interactions between things, and defines a set of concepts: universal, particular, perspective, perspective transfer, nature, feature, rule and triggering mechanism. These concepts are used to explain the basic structure of the framework. Some important problems in object oriented programming (OOP) and aspect oriented programming (AOP) are investigated in detail. A prototype system has been implemented and tested. The experiments prove that the new thought is realistic and efficient.

Abstract:Teaching object-oriented programming in an introductory programming course poses considerable challenges to the instructor. An often advocated approach to meeting this challenge is the use of a simple, object-oriented graphics library. We have developed a simple, portable graphics library for teaching object-oriented programming using C++. The library, EzWindows, allows beginning programmers to design and write programs that use the graphical display found on all modern desktop computers. In addition to providing simple graphical objects such as windows, geometric shapes, and bitmaps, EzWindows provides facilities for introducing event-based programming using the mouse and timers. EzWindows has proven to be extremely popular; it is currently in use at over 200 universities, colleges, and high schools. This paper describes the rationale for EzWindows and its high-level design.
