Abstract:We consider sequences of operators $U_n:L^1(X)\to M(X)$, where $X$ is a space of homogeneous type. Under certain conditions on the operators $U_n$ we give a complete characterization of convergence (divergence) sets of functional sequences $U_n(f)$, where $f\in L^p(X)$, $1\le p\le \infty$. The results are applied to characterize convergence sets of some specific operator sequences in classical analysis.

Abstract:Let $A$ and $B$ be two densely defined unbounded closeable operators in a Hilbert space such that their unbounded operator products $AB$ and $BA$ are also densely defined. Then all four operators possess adjoints and we obtain new inclusion bounds for the operator product closures $\bar{A} \bar{B}$ and $\bar{AB}$ in terms of new relations among the operator adjoints. These in turn lead to sharpened understandings for when products of unbounded self-adjoint and unbounded normal operators are self-adjoint and normal. They also clarify certain operator-product issues for Dirac operators.

Abstract:We firstly construct generalized Baskakov operators Vn,α,q(f;x) and their truncated sum Bn,α,q(f;γn,x). Secondly, we study the pointwise convergence and the uniform convergence of the operators Vn,α,q(f;x), respectively, and estimate that the rate of convergence by the operators Vn,α,q(f;x) is 1/nq/2. Finally, we study the convergence by the truncated operators Bn,α,q(f;γn,x) and state that the finite truncated sum Bn,α,q(f;γn,x) can replace the operators Vn,α,q(f;x) in the computational point of view provided that limn→∞nγn=∞.
Generalized Converses of Operator Jensens Inequalities with Applications to Hypercomplex Function Approximations and Bounds Algebra

Abstract:Mond and Pecaric proposed a powerful method, namd as MP method, to deal with operator inequalities. However, this method requires a real-valued function to be convex or concave, and the normalized positive linear map between Hilbert spaces. The objective of this study is to extend the MP method by allowing non-convex or non-concave real-valued functions and nonlinear mapping between Hilbert spaces. The Stone-Weierstrass theorem and Kantorovich function are fundamental components employed in generalizing the MP method inequality in this context. Several examples are presented to demonstrate the inequalities obtained from the conventional MP method by requiring convex function with a normalized positive linear map. Various new inequalities regarding hypercomplex functions, i.e., operator-valued functions with operators as arguments, are derived based on the proposed MP method. These inequalities are applied to approximate hypercomplex functions using ratio criteria and difference criteria. Another application of these new inequalities is to establish bounds for hypercomplex functions algebra, i.e., an abelian monoid for the addition or multiplication of hypercomplex functions, and to derive tail bounds for random tensors ensembles addition or multiplication systematically.

In this paper we review the the theory of Fubini products and apply it to the problem of computing invariant parts of dynamical systems. In particular, we study the invariant translation approximation property of discrete groups.

Abstract:This work focuses on the study of approximation properties of functions by Szász type operators involving Frobenius–Euler–Simsek-type polynomials, which have become more popular recently because of their special characteristics and functional organization. The convergence properties such as uniformly convergence and pointwise convergence in terms of modulus of continuity and Peetre-$ \it K $ functional are investigated with the help of these sequences of operators in depth. This paper also includes the estimation of the error of the approximation of these sequences of operators to some particular class of functions. The estimates are depicted using the Maple scientific computing program and presented in tables.

Abstract:We prove a general convergence result for zeta functions of prehomogeneous vector spaces extending results of H. Saito, F. Sato and Yukie. Our analysis points to certain subspaces which yield boundary terms. We study it further in the setup arising from nilpotent orbits. In certain cases we determine the residue at the rightmost pole of the zeta function.

Abstract:In this paper we show that if is a sequence of bounded linear operators on a complex Banach space X which -converges to two different bounded linear operators T and U , then T and U have the same parts of the spectrum. In particular, we generalize the results of Sánchez-Perales and Djordjević (J Math Anal Appl 433:405–415, 2016) and of Ammar (Indag Math 28:424–435, 2017). We also investigate the spectral -continuity for the surjective spectrum.

Abstract:Convergence of the differences between operator norm and spectral radius, operator norm and numerical radius, numerical radius and spectral radius, operator norm and Crawford number, operator norm and subspectral radius of complex Hilbert space operator sequences (which are uniformly convergent) has been investigated. Also, an inequality for the difference of Crawford numbers of two linear bounded operators A and B has been obtained. Abstract:In this article, we discuss the applications of martingale Hardy Orlicz–Lorentz–Karamata spaces in Fourier analysis. More precisely, we show that the partial sums of the Walsh–Fourier series converge to the function in norm if with $1<p_-\le $<="" p_+ . The equivalence of maximal operators on martingale Hardy Orlicz–Lorentz–Karamata spaces is presented. The Fejér summability method is also studied and it is proved that the maximal Fejér operator is bounded from martingale Hardy Orlicz–Lorentz–Karamata spaces to Orlicz–Lorentz–Karamata spaces. As a consequence, we obtain conclusions about almost everywhere and norm convergence of Fejér means.

Abstract:Operator systems connect operator algebra, free semialgebraic geometry and quantum information theory. In this work we generalize operator systems and many of their theorems. While positive semidefinite matrices form the underlying structure of operator systems, our work shows that these can be promoted to far more general structures. For instance, we prove a general extension theorem which unifies the well-known homomorphism theorem, Riesz' extension theorem, Farkas' lemma and Arveson's extension theorem. On the other hand, the same theorem gives rise to new vector-valued extension theorems, even for invariant maps, when applied to other underlying structures. We also prove generalized versions of the Choi-Kraus representation, Choi-Effros theorem, duality of operator systems, factorizations of completely positive maps, and more, leading to new results even for operator systems themselves. In addition, our proofs are shorter and simpler, revealing the interplay between cones and tensor products, captured elegantly in terms of star autonomous categories. This perspective gives rise to new connections between group representations, mapping cones and topological quantum field theory, as they correspond to different instances of our framework and are thus siblings of operator systems.

Algebraic genericity of certain families of nets in Functional Analysis

Abstract:In Functional Analysis, certain conclusions apply to sequences, but they cannot be carried over when we consider nets. In fact, some nets, including sequences, can behave unexpectedly. In this paper we are interested in exploring the prevalence of these unusual nets in terms of linearity. Each problem is approached with different methods, which have their own interest. As our results are presented in the contexts of topological vector spaces and normed spaces, they generalize or improve a few ones in the literature. We study lineability properties of families of (1) nets that are weakly convergent and unbounded, (2) nets that fail the Banach-Steinhaus theorem, (3) nets indexed by a regular cardinal $\kappa$ that are weakly dense and norm-unbounded, and finally (4) convergent series which have associated nets that are divergent.

Abstract:Complementable operators extend classical matrix decompositions, such as the Schur complement, to the setting of infinite-dimensional Hilbert spaces, thereby broadening their applicability in various mathematical and physical contexts. This paper focuses on the convergence properties of complementable operators, investigating when the limit of sequence of complementable operators remains complementable. We also explore the convergence of sequences and series of powers of complementable operators, providing new insights into their convergence behavior. Additionally, we examine the conditions under which the set of complementable operators is the subset of set of boundary points of the set of non-complementable operators with respect to the strong operator topology. The paper further explores the topological structure of the subset of complementable operators, offering a characterization of its closed subsets.

Abstract:We study the most general class of eigenfunction expansions for abstract normal operators with pure point spectrum in a complex Hilbert space. We find sufficient conditions for such expansions to be unconditionally convergent in spaces with two norms and also estimate the degree of this convergence. Our result essentially generalizes and complements the known theorems of Krein and of Krasnosel'skiĭ and Pustyl'nik. We apply it to normal elliptic pseudodifferential operators on compact boundaryless -manifolds. We find generic conditions for eigenfunction expansions induced by such operators to converge unconditionally in the Sobolev spaces with or in the spaces (specifically, for the -th mean or uniform convergence on the manifold). These conditions are sufficient and necessary for the indicated convergence on Sobolev or Hörmander function classes and are given in terms of parameters characterizing these classes. We also find estimates for the degree of the convergence on such function classes. These results are new even for differential operators on the circle and for multiple Fourier series.

Abstract:Let (S, σ, μ) be a space with a nonatomic measure and assume that there is given a sequence Tn, n ⩾ 1, of integral operators where the kernels are measurable and bounded. One shows that (under certain assumptions), for any function from LP, 1 ⩽ p < ∞, one can rearrange the values on the sets of arbitrarily small measure (or to interchange the sign on sets of arbitrarily small measure) so that for the obtained function g, the sequence Tng converges in LP as n → ∞. From here it follows that for any function from LP, 1 ⩽ p < 2, by rearrangements or by arrangements of signs, one can achieve that the series with respect to any given orthonormal family of bounded functions, complete in L2, should converge in LP. Similar questions are investigated for the convergence almost everywhere and the integrability of the maximal operator.

Abstract:A unified approach to the concept of a Hausdorff operator is proposed in such a way that a number of classical and new operators feet into the given definition. Conditions are given for the boundedness of the operators under consideration in $L^p$ and in the atomic Hardy space $H^1$, and their regularity property is investigated. Examples are considered. The author hopes that this approach will allow one to unify the study of a lot of extensions and analogs of the classical Hausdorff operator.

Abstract:Product theory of stochastic matrices provides a powerful tool in the consensus analysis of discrete-time multiagent systems. However, the classic theory cannot deal with networks with general coupling coefficients involving negative ones, which have been discussed only in very few papers due to the technicalities involved. Motivated by these works, here we developed some new results for the products of matrices which generalize that of the classical stochastic matrices by admitting negative entries. Particularly, we obtained a generalized version of the classic Hajnal inequality on this generalized matrix class. Based on these results, we proved some convergence results for a class of discrete-time consensus algorithms with time-varying delays and general coupling coefficients. At last, these results were applied to the analysis of a class of continuous-time consensus algorithms with discrete-time controller updates in the existence of communication/actuation delays.
