Abstract:Sialoliths, or sialolithiasis, are benign lesions and represent the most common cause of obstruction and swelling in the major salivary glands. We report two cases of patients attended at different dental services. In Case 1, a 49-year-old man with no comorbidities presented to the dental office with complaints of pain, fever, and swelling on the left side of the floor of the mouth. In Case 2, a 41-year-old man with no comorbidities was referred by a healthcare professional due to the presence of a lesion, also on the left side of the floor of the mouth, although he had no specific complaints.
