Abstract:For a domestic finite group scheme, we give a direct description of the Euclidean components in its Auslander-Reiten quiver via the McKay-quiver of a finite linearly reductive subgroup scheme of $SL(2)$. Moreover, for a normal subgroup scheme $\mathcal{N}$ of a finite group scheme $\mathcal{G}$, we show that there is a connection between the ramification indices of the restriction morphism $\mathbb{P}(\mathcal{V}_{\mathcal{N}})\rightarrow\mathbb{P}(\mathcal{V}_{\mathcal{G}})$ between their projectivized cohomological support varieties and the ranks of the tubes in their Auslander-Reiten quivers.

What problem does this paper attempt to address?
The problems that this paper attempts to solve mainly focus on two aspects: 1. **Describe the Euclidean components in the Auslander - Reiten quiver of a finite group scheme**: - The paper aims to directly describe the Euclidean components in the Auslander - Reiten quiver of a finite group scheme \(G\) with domestic representation type through the McKay - quiver of a finite linearly reductive subgroup scheme \(\tilde{G}\subseteq SL(2)\). Specifically, the author shows how to use tensor products, McKay - quivers, and the ramification indices of certain morphisms to describe these components. 2. **Study the relationship between the branch index between a normal subgroup scheme \(N\) and a group scheme \(G\) and the rank of the tubular components in the Auslander - Reiten quiver**: - For a normal subgroup scheme \(N\) and a finite group scheme \(G\), the paper explores the relationship between the branch index of the restriction morphism \(P(V_N)\to P(V_G)\) of the projective cohomology support varieties from \(N\) to \(G\) and the rank of the tubular components in the Auslander - Reiten quivers of these group schemes. In particular, if \(G\) is a gluing polyhedral group scheme and \(N = G_1\) is its first Frobenius kernel, then the rank of these tubular components is equal to the corresponding branch index. ### Specific problem descriptions 1. **Description of Euclidean components**: - By introducing the methods of McKay - quivers and tensor products, the author gives a specific description method. Specifically, for any gluing polyhedral group scheme \(G\), there exists a finite linearly reductive subgroup scheme \(\tilde{G}\subseteq SL(2)\) such that the Euclidean components in the stable Auslander - Reiten quiver of \(G\) can be explicitly described through the McKay - quiver of \(\tilde{G}\). 2. **Relationship between branch index and tubular components**: - The author proves that for a gluing polyhedral group scheme \(G\) and a component \(\Theta\) of its stable Auslander - Reiten quiver, if \(\Theta\) is Euclidean, then there exists a component of a separated quiver \(Q\) such that \(\Theta\) is isomorphic to \(Z[Q]\). If \(\Theta\) is a tubular component, and \(e_\Theta\) is the branch index of the restriction morphism from \(P(V_{G_1})\) to \(P(V_G)\) at the corresponding point \(x_\Theta\), then \(\Theta\) is isomorphic to \(Z/(e_\Theta)[A_\infty]\). ### Main contributions - **Direct description method**: Through McKay - quivers and tensor products, a method for directly describing Euclidean components is provided. - **Geometric connection**: A geometric connection between support varieties is established, and the properties of the rank of tubular components are revealed through the branch index. ### Mathematical formulas - **McKay - quiver**: \[ \Upsilon_L(\tilde{G}) \] - **Tensor product**: \[ M\otimes_k S \] - **Branch index**: \[ e_x(f)=\dim_k O_{X,x}/m_y O_{X,x} \] Through these methods and results, the paper provides new tools and perspectives for understanding the representation theory of finite group schemes.
